When I got mine done it only pinched a bit. I think the most pain I felt was when the bar would get caught on my shirt or I when I would lay on my tummy... That's about it....

If something goes wrong, you wont be able to feel and you might end up walking around with something pretty bad for days because you don't feel it going wrong. It's just a second of pain, then it's over. Pain is a good thing, it will make your body think "ouch, that hurt, i have to heal". If you're scared, just tell the piercer and he should comfort you :)

@love513ily It doesn't hurt at all! The worst part is when they are putting the belly button ring in. I'm thirteen and I got mine done like 3 weeks ago. It's not really pain, it's just an irritation kinda. Smashing your finger in the door hurts worse than that.

Uhhh..the clamp hurts like a bitch! The needle going in feels more like a pinch and pressure more than anything. Whoever wants one should definitely get one! I love mine and it's totally worth it!

Alright, for all the people that keep asking it if hurts- Of course its gonna fucking hurt! You're getting a needle shoved through your skin, its not the best feeling in the world. I'm 15 years old, and I decided I wanted it for my birthday, and I got it. Yes, it did hurt. No I didn't cry. And yes it was worth it. I dont get why people ask if it hurts? YEAH ITS GONNA HURT. But if you're gonna be such a baby about it, then why do you want it? Just get it done, and figure it out yourselves.

I was with my best friend when she got hers done and it hurt a lot for her but I got told from another friend who used to have one tell me that it didn't hurt all that much. Again, everyone has different pain tolerance. I have my cartilage pierced and I honestly though that hurt LESS than on my ear lobes. I also have my eyebrow pierced and all it was was a pinch.

most bellybutton piercings get numbed first so they dont usually hurt but i doubt numbing would be offered if it didnt hurt without it, like earlobes they dont offer numbing because it doesnt hurt that much. so yeah it probably does hurt without numbing lol

Mine didn`t hurt at all , and it was NOT professionally pierced .

It turned out GREAT though .. no scars , infections , etc .
