I kind of like hostel. I like the blood and guts coming out in that movie. I have the D-cut of it but it will be funny to see a drunken commentary to it. you can play a drinking game to like trey and matt the south park guys do in there commentary it funny as hell.

Yeah i like Hostel. i thought the movie had good death scenes and and the acting was pretty good. so is Hostel Part II yeah it's just like the first movie but with chicks. but there entertaining movies not the best movies ever but still entertaining.

I usually like you guys, I don't agree with your reviews half the time, but the Hostel hate bandwaggon is just unbecoming. It's fine if you didn't enjoy it, but there were FAR worse movies that year, and since, some of which you've praised.

Sure HOSTEL is a bad movie. It is actually a horrible movie. I didnt even like Cabin Fever, it was, meh... nothing special.

But there is something behind it tall which i like: ELI ROTH. I love the fact that hes a fan boy. This guy really knows his shit, I see him with cannibal holocaust shirts, fulci shirts, he talks highly about bloodsucking freaks, pieces, etc.

This guy is one of us. And hes been lucky enough to make some movies. i have hopes that someday he WILL make a good movie...

Hostel, while nothing amazing, is a good horror movie. It's surely better than 90% of the other horror movies which came out the same year. Hostel Part II is a great horror movie. I don't give a damn if anyone gives me shit for saying it. I'm not about to jump into the Eli Roth hate club because its apparently the hip thing to do if you're a fan of the horror genre.

I totally agree. Its not THAT bad of a movie. Its not amazing but the acting is decent and there are a lot of good death scenes. I don't see why the guys at Deadpit hate it so much, I wish they would elaborate a little more on exactly WHY they hate it so much. At least it wasn't another shitty PG-13 ghost movie.
