    :/

  • no render?

  • Tutorial plz <3

  • whoo! bring on the piss!

  • nice

  • Tutorial plz

  • I have some simulation videos myself, but how do you make the fluid infinite?

  • @Matheusasm Just read previous comments ...

  • @Dubik22 Salut ! Sinon, pourrais tu me communiquer les paramètres concernant l'eau ?

  • what was this made with

  • @Jack1998blue I made this with Blender.

  • @Jack1998blue Zis was made wiz ze MAYA program

  • If you made this your video intro for everything you upload, you'd piss so many people off.

  • How do you make the text visible only inside the water?

  • @Parshav1 You define the text as a water obstacle and bake your fluid. Just don't forget to put your text on another layer (or delete it) so that it isn't rendered with your animation ;)

  • I think I get how to put the text in the box but also how do you make the faucet shoot out non stop water?

  • @rootbeerdude96 Hi.

I've no time to make a tutorial, sorry. For the non stop water, just use a Inflow instead of a Fluid. And for the text, use the shortcut Alt+c to convert it to a mesh and just extrude it ;)

  • I'm sorry and i know you probably get asked this alot but I've been searching YouTube for a tutorial on this exact kind of thing but I can't find one. Can you please make one or give me a link or tell me where you found out how to do this? Thanks

  • @rootbeerdude96 I have no time to make a tuto, sorry. Just search "fluid animation" on Google ;)

  • What are the specifications of your PC?

  • @MegaDEUDDEUD Now I have a beautiful MSI GT683R (Intel i7 2.9Ghz / Nvidia GTX 560M / 6Go DDR3 1333Mhz) but I made this animation with my old desktop : Intel Q8400 2.6Ghz / Nvidia 250GTS / 4Go DDR3 1666Ghz.

  • @Dubik22 ok thank

  • Very nice ;)

What res is this baked at?

  • @CrazyDudis I don't have the .blend anymore but if I remember well, i'll say between 100 and 150 :)

  • @Dubik22 Okay, thank you :-)

  • Very nice ;)

  • now im fucking thirsty!

  • 2 hours later...

  • GG !

  • Putain gars, 80heures de rendu --'

  • @TheDjXis Quand tu laisse le PC tourner la nuit et quand t'es en cours, ça passe vite ;)

  • looks awesome very very good i just have one thing (i kow i couldnt do that) but just for future refference water is rarely that blue it should be more "white" i guess

  • @mehmeatballs Yes I know, but this isn't mean to look real. I prefer blue fluid than "white" fluid, because of the reflexions and caustics :)

  • good job

  • @Follschtraeka Thank's :)

  • Ok I've got to ask. What is the water hitting? An invisible box?

  • @autonomous2010 The watter hit the 4 invisibles letters, which are simple objects set to water obstacles ;)

  • @Dubik22 Interesting.

To be honest though the water looks kinda like mouthwash. Transparency and mirroring would have made it look more like water.

If that was what you were going for that is.

  • Pls make tut on you vids

  • @kimi450 Sorry but I don't have time to do that :(

  • @Dubik22 do you know where can i get a tut on it

  • @kimi450 To do that, I just followed some tuto on Youtube (search something like "tuto blender fluid") and a little training with simple animations (look my firsts : horrible) but after some tests you'll make beautiful stuff ;)

  • @Dubik22 I have made one in which i put water on 3 spheres from 4 cylinders i will upload it in some time be sure to check my channel after 2-4 hours and comment too :)

  • @Dubik22 btw how did you make the word ??

  • Did you know this color was the color of novelty? :D

  • @SincereCreature I didn't know novelty had a color ^^

  • @Dubik22 Well let's say it symbolizes novelty ;D It's just that your video says "Blender - Fluid #20 - Mion (NEW)", and it just so happened that you chose the color of "new" by coincidence :D

  • @SincereCreature Awww okay ^.^

  • one thing, do you have any idea how to start the water flow at a different time instead of starting on the first frame?

  • @SDShadowsoldier You can use the fluid's IPO, one of them is "Active", so you put the curve on 0 when you don't want the flow, and put it on 1 when the flow is active ;)

PS : You can found more informations and precisions on the official Blender documentation (wikiDOTblenderDOTorg) : there is a Fluid part !

  • @SDShadowsoldier @Dubik22 I never knew you could do it like that, I've always used the inflow object's size, making it 0 when I want it to stop.

  • Jello :D

  • cool!!!

  • Repulsion gel?

  • I think you got problem with some of your normals for the text. You can check them in edit mode.

  • This guy loves sperm

  • @MultiGTAgames If your sperm looks like that, you need to see a doctor ...

  • @Dubik22 Avatar sperm

  • @Dubik22

    or a circus

  • how to make it endless? and flowing like a water beam?

  • @jobboyjob This is a simple inflow ! For the power of the beam, you choose a velocity ans that's it ^^

  • @Dubik22

and how to make it endless?

  • @jobboyjob A inflow is endless, you have nothing to change or configure, just choose "inflow" in the fluid parameters and it will be endless !

  • man, r u do the text with obxes? Fuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • @BULLDOZERUFO I'm not sure what you ask me ^^

  • @Dubik22 Sorry for my english, text is made out of boxes? If not, why such ribbed sides?

  • @BULLDOZERUFO I've made the text "by hand" (I'm not sure of the english expression, I'm French ^^), verticle by verticle for the 2D letters, and a extrusion for the 3rd dimension. The text is ribbed because of the fluid, it never follow precisely the sides of the obstacles :'( I think I need to put a higher resolution, but my computer is not powerfull enought (for now, because I'll bought a new gamer PC in two weeks =D )

    I hope I answered your question =)

  • @Dubik22 yep, thanks :) congratulate with new pc)

  • Powerade fountain!!

  • @Ramiprops fat american?

  • @couer1911 Fit spaniard.

  • I have a compaq computer with only 3 GB of ram so blender runs kinda slow with animations like this how do I make it run faster?

  • @pastrana2000 ram a little too do with fast a computer runs

  • @pastrana2000 3Gb of ram is enought, but the processor and the graphic card are the most important. You have to make a choice : a good render but slow or a fast render but less good ...

Or you have tu buy a new powerfull computer ;P

  • no 3d liquid simulation i've seen takes into account the trapped air and bubble formation in the liquid why is that?

  • @Nightspyz1 the blender fluid simulation doesn't include variables of gas interactions, it's as if it were done in a vacuum. I think it would be awsome if it could though!

  • ohh i see what you did thar

  • the refraction is awesome! wow!

  • @JASONE1986 Thank you =)

  • This makes me thirsty.

  • 80 hours lol get a better processor

  • @atomdragon4 Yeah but I need to find some money ^^

  • @Dubik22 Which processor do you have at the moment?

  • @atomdragon4 Right now I have a QuadCore Q8400 @2.67 GHz but I think when I made this animation I had a Core2Duo E6600. In 4 month I'll have a beautiful i7 =)

  • @Dubik22 Aaaah nice, good luck with your future i7 :)

  • @atomdragon4 Thank you, I'm looking foward to have it :)

  • @Dubik22 do you recomend me a macbook pro 15" with quadCore - 4 Ram - i7 - and Graphics AMD Radeon???

  • @DaArK117pro0o I never use Mac, so I can't recommend that (or not) to you, but the Intel i5 and i7 are very powerfull, and 4Go of RAM is enought for this kind of animations. Concerning the graphic card, I always used nVidia and I've always been satisfied =)

  • cool!

  • this took 80 hours to render wow!

  • @realflow100 Yes, it's the longest video I've made, and in HD !
