  • I love this very much! I'd see the film and I can remember this beautiful music! Thanks

  • To clarify what xbendiistraw meant. He wishes he was born in the 1700s.....as a wealthy and prosperous aristocrat (preferably NOT in France. Guillotine anyone?)

  • To find more music like this try google for Balkanika ethno. The dominant instrument here is called drombulje. More titles witht the similar etho background "Hop, Hop, Hop - red apple" and under the name of a singers saban bajramovic, Esma Redzepova, Usnija Redzepova, etc. Not nearly as uncommon in Europe as it is in the States. After all Milos Forman (the director is European born).

  • I always wonder what this piece was. I belived it was renaissance music at first but now I know.

  • i wish i was born in 1700's

  • no. you dont

  • @xbendiistraw

Me too, I would have like to live from the 1750s to the early 1800s, live the French Revolution...

  • @republicain85 why would u like to live in the french revolution those were tough days...

  • @republicain85

So do I, but remember - all the music in Amadeus is far from authentic - all modern interpretations, only historical with this film is some use of fortepiano sound... but there again... The clothing is also far from realistic :P BUT - I love the film, the spirit of the last decades of the 18thC is truly there - This is indeed a great film :)

Have you heard historically informed Mozart?

Oh that is SO sweet... no vibrato a la Wagner :)

  • @xbendiistraw i'd totally travel back in time to the 1700's for a few days but there's no way i'd want to be born then haha. i feel like you'd be sweaty, uncomfortable, and sickly like all the time.

  • @xbendiistraw me too! But then I think about it, and it wouldnt be very good for me cuz im brown haha

  • @xbendiistraw i wish i wasn't :/

  • @AngelBiLove haha

  • @xbendiistraw Watch ''Perfume: The story of a murderer''. The most appropriate answer to this!

  • @xbendiistraw So do I. I love Cholera, brutality and class disparity.
