I'm a vegan, and literally the fourth day of being vegan my skin cleared up SO MUCH. I swear, eating foods with dairy, meat and eggs can make your skin look so awful! (sugar also makes your skin look nasty.) If you really want a better complexion try being a vegan! I've been vegan for a year and a half and it has so many benefits i won't ever stop being a vegan ^_^
What if you only have 4 minutes inbetween classes, and say u drink two bottles... well what are we supposed to do when we gotta pee and all we have are 4 minutes. :) great video though except we might pee alot XD
Oh, and just so you know, the ingredients in sunscreen are carcinogens....you want to be a doctor, how do you not know this? Pick up your bottle right now and google the ingredients.

@Haleeyylovespink Eating french fries/chicken are kinda bad for your skin, no matter what - the more you have of them, the more you will see a negative impact on your skin! Keep the amount you eat to very low minimum!! Go straight for the salad :)

There is no set amount of water that every person should drink everyday.
I agree with you but the biggest thing that determines your skin is genes....i eat crap and dont eat healthy and my skin is flawless like most people on both sides of my family. im am trying to do better at almost 40 yrs old
@Floyd654 I had this problem too. Try to build up to drinking more water. The best way that worked for me was exercising more. Try drinking a cup beforehand, one during, and one or two afterwards. The amount you drink will definitely depend on the length and intensity of the workout.
@Floyd654 you should try just drinking waqter for a few months like stay away from soda and its will take some time but it will work... you dont have to just drink drink drink for two days ...

@LorienF Unless you're slathering bacon grease or fried foods on your face, it really doesn't. And honestly I would trust a dermatologist over an esthetician any day, which is how I know this. @golemftw that happens ridiculously rarely...it's almost impossible to drink that much water in that short a period of time. you need to drink a LOT of water VERY quickly before you run the risk of that happening.
or you could line your face with a high litter then rub toothpaste over that, im a guy so i dont have all the make up and acne creams and stuff. just do the high litter trick and change your sheets and pillow cases frequently. just try it. it works.

@olliojenarter, she wasn't presenting anything as "fact." She basically said as a disclaimer in the beginning that these are things that work for her or things her dermatologist told her.
I like your tips and all, but I do have to say that there is no correlation between eating healthy and healthy skin. Unless you're eating really oily food and maybe you get some of it around your mouth and break out or you're allergic to a food, there really isn't any connection between the two. Water is good, though :)
@MissaMUA Lol, eating healthy has no correlation to healthy skin? Sorry but your skin is one of the organs of waste elimination. If you are eating foods that have no nutritional value and have a fair amount of toxins in them, especially transfatty acids, your skin will show it. I'm an esthetician and food has EVERYTHING to do with the health of your entire body, including your skin. Nice job ARose. Seems like you're helping a lot of teens. Keep it up!
@GlitterGlam312 you're not suppose to scrub everyday, although it makes your skin smooth, but not everyday. Like twice or thrice a week will do. Try stop scrubbing for a week or so... It might be better...
I think you seem like a really sweet person and a fun, nutty, hilarious kid, so please don't take offense. There are so many inaccuracies in this vid that I lost count. There's great info too, but it can take a lot away from the good if you have a lot of wrong things that you present as "facts". Someone may find out you were wrong about one thing and decide you're wrong about everything, even though you aren't. GURU's have a responsibility to be accurate so maybe you could do more research. :)
This is a weird thing to do but to prevent acne put toothpaste on your face or wherever the "future breakout" is going to be. Get a wash cloth and put WARM water on it and PAT it onto the skin. Do not rub it because that would irritate it and it would make it break out. It helped me so hopefully it would work for your skin. Really. Try it. It's weird yet helpful!
@VampireAcademylove i tried that when my friend told me to do it got a big zit but i try washing my face 2 times a day i first do one in the morning when i wake up then i put water in my face then dry my face to take all that oil off then put water the second time and use an acne kit.
@minell112 This is what I do - divide your body weight by 2, then whatever the sum is, add ounces to it. So if you were 140 then you would drink 70 ounces, which is a little over 4 bottles, depending on how big the bottle is, but again this is just what I do.
ok so i noticed you said exercise helps and i can see why, butwhenever i sweat i breakout because im guessing the sweat clogs my pores.. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME ? i play a sport and i dont want to be constantly breacking out all season. haha thanks !(:
@renaliciousdelicious wash your face thouroughly after every time you play sport or if you are at school take some make-up wipes try finding a cleanser with tea-tree or eculyptos(spelling?) and they should help
@renaliciousdelicious The sweat is actually not what breaks you out. It's the bacteria on your skin. Be sure to wash your face before you work out or do sports. Then shower soon after, or at the very least change your clothes and rinse your face. That should help a lot. :D

i think the formula for how much water you should drink per day is half you body weight in ounces. (example, if you weigh 110 lbs, it's 55 ounces..if that makes sense lol) eight 8 oz glasses of water could be too much for some people. you forgot to say non- comodeogenic makeup! also, no stress (which is a result of exercise) and plenty of sleep, not touching your face too much, and although it's good to eat healthily, it's not proven that greasy foods will make you break out :)
I really liked this video, but it is actually proven that junk food doesnt give you break outs. My mom asked my dermatologist about it because she wanted me to eat healthier but my dermatologist said that oily food doesnt make you break out. However, its probably a good idea to eat healthy anyway because you'll feel better and stuff
There is nothing wrong with being under the sun. It gives vitamin D. Also, all life needs sunlight, why hide from it? We lived under the sun for millions of years. I think 15-20 minutes under the sun is actually healthy. I really do not like the fact that people think the sun is such a bad thing, because it really isin't. But obviously OVEREXPOSURE is not good.
@fresh2death226 Word! It is important to protect yourself in a whole day outdoors, but some sun is life giving! The whole problem is that we have destroyed much of the protective layer that once blocked the harmful "cancer causing" rays. So sadly, we still have to be careful. :(
My acne tip: Had the worst skin of my life these past two weeks, (prob due to stress) something that really worked for me was to mix baking soda & water & dab it on my cysts. Then cover it with a dab of benzoyl peroxide (i use Solugel), & head to bed. Works wonders! But will dry u out. U can make a baking soda mask by adding a lil water, & 2 pumps of aloe vera gel. Leave it on for about 1 hr, really liked this 2. Also i tot.agree that exercise is key, it releases toxins.
Cute Video! I totally agree with the water comment, if you on the pill too, make sure to drink lots of water and your skin should get really clear. Make sure to ask your doc, which pill is best for clearer skin cause not all BC pills are.

the water thing is true. I was really sick about a year ago, and I mean it, and everytime I am sick my skin is all greasy, blotchy, and ew etc. Anyways, when I was so sick I was desperate to feel better and I had no appetite and I just didnt drink anything other than water. I just loved water for that period when I was sick. I couldnt stop drinking it and my skin was (and still is) absolutely amazing.That habit stayed and I drink bout 3 bottles a day.My skin is<3 I suggest this to everyone!

@GlitterGlam312 you're not suppose to scrub everyday, although it makes your skin smooth, but not everyday. Like twice or thrice a week will do. Try stop scrubbing for a week or so... It might be better...

It's probably the scrub, you're not supposed to exfoliate every day. Try only using it twice a week and your skin should get better.

I think you seem like a really sweet person and a fun, nutty, hilarious kid, so please don't take offense. There are so many inaccuracies in this vid that I lost count. There's great info too, but it can take a lot away from the good if you have a lot of wrong things that you present as "facts". Someone may find out you were wrong about one thing and decide you're wrong about everything, even though you aren't. GURU's have a responsibility to be accurate so maybe you could do more research. :)

This is a weird thing to do but to prevent acne put toothpaste on your face or wherever the "future breakout" is going to be. Get a wash cloth and put WARM water on it and PAT it onto the skin. Do not rub it because that would irritate it and it would make it break out. It helped me so hopefully it would work for your skin. Really. Try it. It's weird yet helpful!

@VampireAcademylove i tried that when my friend told me to do it got a big zit but i try washing my face 2 times a day i first do one in the morning when i wake up then i put water in my face then dry my face to take all that oil off then put water the second time and use an acne kit.

@minell112 This is what I do - divide your body weight by 2, then whatever the sum is, add ounces to it. So if you were 140 then you would drink 70 ounces, which is a little over 4 bottles, depending on how big the bottle is, but again this is just what I do.

ok so i noticed you said exercise helps and i can see why, butwhenever i sweat i breakout because im guessing the sweat clogs my pores.. CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME ? i play a sport and i dont want to be constantly breacking out all season. haha thanks !(:

@renaliciousdelicious wash your face thouroughly after every time you play sport or if you are at school take some make-up wipes try finding a cleanser with tea-tree or eculyptos(spelling?) and they should help

@renaliciousdelicious The sweat is actually not what breaks you out. It's the bacteria on your skin. Be sure to wash your face before you work out or do sports. Then shower soon after, or at the very least change your clothes and rinse your face. That should help a lot. :D

i drink 6-8 glasses of water everyday .. i have for a long time now and my skin is still rubbbish :( .. i eat alot of fruit and avoid junk food too ! i should have good skin , but i dont :(

i think the formula for how much water you should drink per day is half you body weight in ounces. (example, if you weigh 110 lbs, it's 55 ounces..if that makes sense lol) eight 8 oz glasses of water could be too much for some people. you forgot to say non- comodeogenic makeup! also, no stress (which is a result of exercise) and plenty of sleep, not touching your face too much, and although it's good to eat healthily, it's not proven that greasy foods will make you break out :)

I really liked this video, but it is actually proven that junk food doesnt give you break outs. My mom asked my dermatologist about it because she wanted me to eat healthier but my dermatologist said that oily food doesnt make you break out. However, its probably a good idea to eat healthy anyway because you'll feel better and stuff

There is nothing wrong with being under the sun. It gives vitamin D. Also, all life needs sunlight, why hide from it? We lived under the sun for millions of years. I think 15-20 minutes under the sun is actually healthy. I really do not like the fact that people think the sun is such a bad thing, because it really isin't. But obviously OVEREXPOSURE is not good.

@fresh2death226 Word! It is important to protect yourself in a whole day outdoors, but some sun is life giving! The whole problem is that we have destroyed much of the protective layer that once blocked the harmful "cancer causing" rays. So sadly, we still have to be careful. :(

My acne tip: Had the worst skin of my life these past two weeks, (prob due to stress) something that really worked for me was to mix baking soda & water & dab it on my cysts. Then cover it with a dab of benzoyl peroxide (i use Solugel), & head to bed. Works wonders! But will dry u out. U can make a baking soda mask by adding a lil water, & 2 pumps of aloe vera gel. Leave it on for about 1 hr, really liked this 2. Also i tot.agree that exercise is key, it releases toxins.

Cute Video! I totally agree with the water comment, if you on the pill too, make sure to drink lots of water and your skin should get really clear. Make sure to ask your doc, which pill is best for clearer skin cause not all BC pills are.

the water thing is true. I was really sick about a year ago, and I mean it, and everytime I am sick my skin is all greasy, blotchy, and ew etc. Anyways, when I was so sick I was desperate to feel better and I had no appetite and I just didnt drink anything other than water. I just loved water for that period when I was sick. I couldnt stop drinking it and my skin was (and still is) absolutely amazing.That habit stayed and I drink bout 3 bottles a day.My skin is<3 I suggest this to everyone!
