the idea of angels in heaven, to me, seems quite odd. stories of angels and lucifer don't really teach us much of anything. the (original) story of jesus' birth and life teaches us about the movement of the earth through space, helping in harvests- using the earth to it's greatest potential without hurting it. same with hundreds of other religions which use the same dates, numbers, etc.

me? i wouldnt consider myself an atheist. most of the early religious texts start off with one main thing- there is a creator and that creator loves you. such a widespread notion i dont think could have just come about, even though there were certainly fewer humans on earth at the time. so it seems to me that when humans were advanced enough to read and write, someone told them some things. and they constructed great civilizations based on that knowledge. then power-hungry sects came along.

i'm not entirely sure what it is you're saying.
the idea of angels in heaven, to me, seems quite odd. stories of angels and lucifer don't really teach us much of anything. the (original) story of jesus' birth and life teaches us about the movement of the earth through space, helping in harvests- using the earth to it's greatest potential without hurting it. same with hundreds of other religions which use the same dates, numbers, etc.

funny how Obama started out a closet muslim, then he was part of crazy church so he couldn't be muslim, but today I'm hearing for the first time that he's actually both! that is clever.
I can't vote McCain, in 2000 he fathered a black child out of wedlock in South Carolina.
I don't trust him. plus he flip flops on too many issues like the war which was supposed to be his strongest issue. 3008 or 2013 which is it?

What's so crazy? Is it crazy, & coincidental, that this church(Trinity) had a pastor(Jeremiah Wright) who was once, a MUSLIM? Is it coincidental that this church honor & gave an award to a hatemonger & racist like Louis Farrahkan? Doesn't it bother you that Obama still hasn't repudiated his friend & terrorist, Ayers? Shouldn't Obama be turned down 4 this great government job because of background checks?

I don't care about Ayers. I've sat on boards with close to 200 different people. If I had to be responsible for the politics of each one of those folks my goodness gracious. the liberal media manipulates the fact that most of the bible thumping gun loving blue collar carnies in the midwest and south don't even know what a board is. Ayers, who cares? Obama has denounced Wright on 2 occasions, McCain has yet to denounce Hagee or the 700 Club, Christian Coalition, GOP staples.

i'm sorry I'm a capitalist. i work with corporations to make money in the private sector. If I'm making money then I'll sit on a board with David Duke or Robert Mugabe. What they do outside of their time around that table won't affect our profit. if it did, then I'd have a problem with them on the board but they can wipe their asses with fetuses, shit on the flag, whatever, just bring me money.

Obama's supposed repudiation of Wright is a hoax & was planned. Both knew it was inevitable. Wouldn't surprise me to see Wright as part of his cabinet. But ur lack of knowledge between Hagee & Wright is surprising! Wright is a former muslim & into black liberation theology. Obama has his roots in Islam. Islam beheads people, burns them alive, shoots them! Islam is evil! Hagee isn't.

Hagee's apology is horseshit and politically motivated. As a Catholic, I will not vote for McCain until I hear from his mouth that Hagee's words offend him. I don't want to see Hagee on his cabinet. I don't think you've seen Hagee's sermons. there is a clip on youtube of Hagee giving a history of the world. knowing some assholes buy his bullshit scares me to death. there are far more evangelicals than there are blacks listening to Wright. your muslim case vs. obama wont hold up in court
