  • I was anorexic, now i recovered, im still 120 pounds, and have a phobia of getting fat i guess, lol, i love food so much though, and would love to just devour food like this dude. I probably should pack on pounds, but im to scared to

  • i watch you and also suffer from anoreixa and was hospitalised last year for about 2 months and are still verry under weight now and struggle everyday and i love watching your videos but i would never of guessed it happend to you well done to you for coming out the other end!!! =D

  • Hey Pete just wanted to say Thanks man. Seeing this video took me back. I also was hospitalized for anorexia in junior high school I was under 80 lbs at one point a walking skeleton. I didnt get a change going for a few years till I finished High school. But I am proud now, and no longer scared and am in the best shape of my life. I put on 50 pounds of muscle since graduating high school. Seeing where we both have been and seeing your success..it keeps me going. Just wanted to say thanks man.

  • Hey Pete you should do a video explaining more or less how you have to eat to get big for the people who don't have money to buy all the food.

  • salute you!!!!

  • That's a gorgeous picture of you on the right at 2:25. I bet you could totally be a male model if you wanted to. You definately have the right look/physique for it. :3

  • you're my motivation, I'm getting out of 'anorexia'

  • WoW!! Very inspiring...thanks for the tips too! It'll help me A lot!! :O Thx Ferious Pete!!

  • I HAVE THE SIMILAR PROBLEM...PLEASE HELP ME , I THINK I M EXPIRING, I HAVE NO AILMENT BIT I HAVE ANOREXIA, PLZ HELP ME

  • @Ali57728 marijuana ...shh i didnt tell you this >.> munchies...no harmful side effects. Peace Love Happyness.

  • @Ali57728 Hey I am former heavy drinker, the most help I have ever gotten is from close friends supporting me to make changes, because I don't have a close family. Reach out to your friends and family once you have thought about how you can approach them on a level basis. The worst mistake I have made is thinking that I am less of a person for asking for some help. I got here because of cooking, great video, motivates me to drink less and get out more. Oh yeah and try force feeding cambells soup

  • there should be more people talking about things like this. maybe this video will help to someone change their lives...

    keep it up ;)

  • wow. didnt know all this. very inspiring

  • after months of watching your competitive eating vids just for kicks, i came across this - it has made me respect you even more - as an actual person now however, and not just an eating machine! you're amazing - keep up the good work.

  • i was 115kg and i lost 35 kg down to 70kg and now im trying to turn my bit of fat into muscle, but i can't really find a good diet and a gym routine, could you help me out pete? if you could i would appreciate it so so much and your story is truely amazing!

  • @notanothertrolol by the way, i'm 14.

  • @notanothertrolol your too young to start training muscle mass, it will stunt your growth and mess up joints etc. id advise doing low weight circuit training or calisthenic (own body weight) workouts to build up some lean muscle, when your around 16 you can start training with heavier weights and proper regimes to build serious muscle.

  • Wow I went through the same but I had Bulimia nerviosa , when I ate alot and then vomit it. I was 5'8 and weighted 96 lb I was a skeleton I almost died . I to use bodybuliding to help me and it, just knowing that rush everyday seeing that ur getting more buff, that what jeep me going I'm 5'8 and weight 220 lb :)

  • Dude I love you. No bromo.

  • "Do I really want to keep killing myself?" "No" *Eats 2 lbs of butter*

  • @XxRaWr24xX u can eat how much fat u want too aslong as you don't combine it with something that brings out the hormone insulin that is fatbinding....u will just shit it out.

  • as someone recovering from anorexia at a moment, id just like to say thankyou for inspiring me and giving me hope that i can get out of this disorder...

    thanks pete.

  • how did he get so buff in so little time?

  • @rweqqwer 3 years is a lot of time

  • Wow: This video touched my heart. I had no idea that someone as built as Furious Pete had anorexia and could have died. My God!

I really admire him for changing. I knew that he did have some issues,

but had no idea it was serious. I didn't jusge anything he did. I just thought it

was weird to compete in eating and eat all those calores. No wonder he's

never fat, he needs the calores, after that story he shared with us. I know now

    why he did all that.

    Pete:God bless you!

  • So he went from anorexia to biggerexia which is an actual thing. Nice! Wow, people have lost all sense of balance. They go from one extreme to the next. I do not find this story inspiring at all. I find it sad. The only thing he did was shift in his mind his fight or flight response to the opposite extreme. Now rather than starving himself he's become a glutton. You need some serious therapy boy to deal with your core issues. Food ain't gonna solve it. Whether over or under eating.

    Good luck!

  • @SkankExpose Coming from someone who had anorexia, eating that much is a choice. You are right in saying that it's from one extreme to another, but to do that with a disorder like anorexia, is no easy task. As for therapy, he most likely has had some to overcome core issues. To take a disorder like that and give it a complete 180 degree turn should be commended, but you'd have to experience it to know. Most people rather see him eating like that, body build and be healthy than starve

  • @SkankExpose He hasnt become a glutton you tit. He eats truckloads when he is competing not all the time. He realises what is healthy and what isnt, and im sure he eats in his own time in accordance with his training regime. The fact is he is happy, and what he does isn't detrimental to his health (when coupled with the intensity of his fitness), so there isnt an issue here. Didnt realise you were a psychologist, now STFO!!

  • if you loved your fans you would post your documentary on your channel for us to watch :)

  • It's all lies. You were always a god.

  • Your a champ PETE....no matter what anyone says your an INSPIRATION...real talk homeboy

  • cool story bro!!! keep up the good work just chill with the butter dude thats not healthy

  • Pete you are awesome for beating your anorexia. I'm struggling with anorexia right now and I hope I can beat it too

  • he eats healthy just faster and more of it

pro body builders walk around with cans of tuna on them just so they can keep their protein up

  • hahahaha did he say eat healthy?

  • You didnt have a 6 pack on your 10 banana and sprite challenge

  • True inspiration!

  • I'm glad he's not anorexic but practicing to overeat seems weird, too. However, I don't think many competitive eaters are actually overweight or have a lot of health problems. It just doesn't seem like something to be proud of and compete over. I'm sure he could be healed without it.

  • Thanks for sharing Pete

  • Wow, I never knew....... you've come a LONG way man. You look great and I can tell that you feel great as well. Congrats on all your success. This was really inspiring.

  • Stop eating like a garbage disposal, you are going to hurt yourself.

  • @RespectMyHate Well, he does burn every calorie he consumes, and as a bodybuilder, he needs to have high calorie intake to keep up with working out

  • @TheHorrorchicken Exercise and burning calories is all well and good but over eating is very dangerous.

  • @RespectMyHate True, true. But I do think eats healthy too, you know, besides his eating videos :P

  • @RespectMyHate - have you watched any of his non crazy food videos? he's a health freak, the whole five to seven meals a day, lean protein shabang, and he's a bodybuilder. he exercises like a mad thing. do a little research before making stupid comments man. (/woman since i s'pose you could be a fellow lady)

  • @killjoy777777777 No, I'm a man, and even though he works out like a freak, eating that much food is still insane, may led to some serious problems in the future, you could look like 1 million bucks but your arteries could be clogged and you would still show little signs of it, eating that high of food content highly increases the amount of fat in the blood, and the more you eat the more fat will remain in your blood, becuase your body isn't made to handle high levels of fat all at once.

  • @RespectMyHate and if you watch his videos he repeatedly says "i do not do this all the time" he does not do eating competitions every day, or even every week.

  • @RespectMyHate Do you think Pete eats those kinds of meals on a daily basis? Of course he doesn't.

  • @TheAlmightyFSM all you have to do is smoke crack one time and you'll be messed up for life, the same rules apply here, all you have to do is eat so much until you rupture your stomach cavity. It can happen to anybody.

  • @RespectMyHate So your argument changes to favor the circumstances... interesting.

Sure, it could happen to anybody who hasn't stretch-trained their stomach.

Pain is a pretty good motivating factor for stopping before you hurt yourself if you ask me, but indeed, it could happen to anybody... He's not telling other people to do this, but it obviously works for him.

For you to hop on here being a Debbie Downer about this guys AMAZING life transformation is just silly and, well, annoying.

  • @RespectMyHate If Pete drops dead, you'll have a point to make... until then you're just pissing in the wind my friend. Fact is... this dude took his greatest weakness and made it in to an asset.

There's a reason they tack the word "Professional" on to the beginning of "Competitive Eater".

You can fly a plane once and crash it... or you could become the greatest pilot of all time.

  • 2 haters need to be eaten

  • @OneClownShoe they are needed to be killed

  • i love all your videos pete, but i have to admit, your voice makes it hard for me to get in the "moving and lifechanging" mood

  • who in the hell disliked this?

  • Full respect for you, Pete. Amazing how you turned food as a weakness into something productive. Pretty sure you eat healthy in your routine life. Keep doing what you're doing.

  • effin' subbed! ur great!

  • i´ll bet you can drink a (in german) kasten bier(20 bottles of 0,5 liter=10 liter bier) in under 10 minutes...but then you are fucked up^^greeets!!!

  • You're still killing yourself, you'll soon run out of insulin, then comes diabetes, then comes neuropathies.

  • fairplay to u mate, and congrats

  • Wow, I never would have expected to see this. I have a lot of respect for you to make a video of such a personal subject. I was in a similar situation around the same age as you, I was not comfortable with my self at all. I am glad to see that you have made massive strides with eating properly (mostly lol), as well with your strength training.

As for the negative comments, don't comment.

  • good video :D

  • pete makes me hungry..

  • do u really eat healthy ? hm :D nvm cool story

  • Great story man, just great. It really is amazing how you came so far and unbelievable. Just, good on you friend.

  • Seems like sports in general is really helpful when you're struggeling with ED or things like depression or self-harm. I really have to say that training saved my life, simply by giving me the feeling of being very good in something, being worth someting and by breaking down my walls. That's simply it! Everything that shows you that you actually ARE worth something is able to help you out of your ED. Of course you're still struggeling from time to time but you have something to hold on to

  • Well done buddy

  • This video has just motivated me...to eat more food!

  • So, what about, the eating competitions? How did you get to eat so much?

  • I think this guy still has serious issues - not eating to crazy binge eating.... Am I missing something here?

  • @cronker78 No you are spot on. It is crystal clear this guy is riddled with problems.

Most of the comments are regarding bodybuilding- which is, in itself, a body image issue. He has gone from anorexia, to binge eating, to bodybuilding.

  • i'm a hardgainer and although i'm working out in the gym alot i don't gain weight easly your video's are really motivating

  • How much do you have to work out to eat that much and stay in shape??? Wow.

  • well done, i never had seen this video but now i just think how you have changed is amazing!

  • i still dont get how you go from body building to pro eating.

  • That is awesome man I'm happy for you. Your the man.

  • you look so much like Heath ledger @ 1:30 !!!!!! never thought about being an actor??

  • Steveno ur an idiot who is talking out of his ass

  • I thought you were a huge douche until I saw this video. Very motivating story, and one that I can completely relate to. While I was never hospitalized, I grew up going through many eating disorders. I am on the neverending path to fix my relationship with food, and seeing where someone in such a situation can go is very inspiring.

  • Its fantastic that you turned your life around but what about the eating contests? I'm hoping on a daily basis you do eat really healthy and these are just once every couple of month things. It just seems to me you have replaced one eating disorder with another. I have always had an eating disorder, I was obese/overweight for 19 years then became underweight in about 6 months. I currently struggle with nutrition problems. I would love you to reply but I understand you have lots of comments.

  • @Stevenio thanks for sharing that douchebag, stupid ass troll

  • @Stevenio He can kick your ass, no doubt.

  • @bech1223 Do I care? Ronnie Coleman can kick my ass doesnt make him any less uglier. This faggot is pathetic I hope he stops eating and becomes anorexic again. Good job Uglypete123!

  • thank you for sharing this :)

  • inspiring, thanks pete. what's the relaxing song?

  • Major props Pete, keep doing what your doing bro. You are truly an inspiration to us all. Peace

  • yeahhhhh Pete's the shit

  • You remind me of Heath Ledger :)

  • @AlphaSKeight Yes, his eyes and facial form :-) Nice vid

  • @AlphaSKeight pete looks more like a blonde Andy Samberg tbh ;)
