  • I fast forwarded

  • what a wonderful flower and the star pattern is amazing

  • Hey Marty! It's me Amy! This is a most beautiful video! I am looking forward to the turtle one!

  • @chicadelasestrellas7

Hiya Amy, I'm finally back on line.. whoopee!! I'll be uploading the sea turtle movies in the next day or so. Thanks for stopping bye!

  • Why are being directed here from the Conspiracion.cl game?

  • this is cool, i just picked up 2 packs at lowe's for $1.00 each. They are vine climbers people, and yes in a way grow similar to a morning glory. These are beautiful and very fragrant, open usually at sundown and can stay open until noon the next day. Great Video Cnc66!

  • it opens really quick and its beautifulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll :)

  • wow!

  • Thanks for sharing. My uncle gave me some seeds last year. After seeing this video, I will be sure to plant them.

  • I'd punch that flower in the face

  • @rasprenkle Is that supposed to be funny? I don't get the joke. Please explain. Thanks

  • Wow, thats beautiful

  • Wow. That's beautiful.

  • that is beautiful

  • It really is a nice vid...thanks

  • Live bloom, read the comments ,it looks like a morning glory,I have never seen a moonflower?

  • people who love plants are the best people ive ever known

  • This is great! Have to try to do this.

    Hi from Clewiston

  • I'm sorry. English is clumsy.

    I like this flower.

In U.S.A., a thing of Japan is the same, too.

    Thank you very much.

  • how beautiful. thank you for posting this.

  • Indian River?!! I could WALK there.....Don't worry I'm taking my pants off RIGHT NOW

  • People ...there is moonflower vine like the morning glory except it opens at night, the true moonflower !!! ,and Datura/Jimsonweed which is is bush with larger flowers..this is the bad one! Get info at EROWID

  • Rosa.. I don't know what you are talking about but this IS a moonflower vine all over the riverbank. In fact there are morning glories intertwined among them so my river bank has red glories in the morning and white moon flowers at night. You are confused.. go back to EROWID and study some more

  • i wasn't talking about this one...just letting the people know the difference...I replied to the wrong comment ...don't get so snippy!

  • @RosaB6, i have one like you're talking about in my backyard..lots of huge lemony smelling blooms. These are probably just a different variety but they're very beautiful too.

  • amazing & very pretty bloom. my favorite plant . notice my youtube name : ) LOL. but please just enjoy watching the plant, and looking at it... it is poisonous. !!!

  • very nice, thank you! Those who are getting high on this plant, please watch you don't get sick/ overdose!

  • My moonflower opened its first bloom today and I was thrilled! This plant is amazing.

  • Soooo Cool to see!

  • moonflowers are poisonous..

  • Yeah but at small doses it can cause strong hallucinations and disconnection to where you can't determine reality from fantasy.

  • Do it if you sincerely want to know what nature has to tell you and you are prepared for it, like a shaman. Don't do it for fun.

  • Yeah I know,

I definitely wouldn't do it if I didn't have a few sober friends with me.

And I only do these kinds of drugs for introspecting and nature like you said.

  • These are not drugs, they're etheogens. And should really be respected.

  • I'm not sure datura would be classified as an etheogen.

    it's more of a poison.

  • fuck yea they do i ate a moonflower seed pod and was insane for 3 days fantacy and reality were one

  • From just ONE?! Wow. Have to try that.

  • i have moonflowers but mine do not open this fast...

  • So beautifull !

  • this is amazing!

  • Beautiful, thanks for posting!

  • wow i never knew a flower like this exhisted

  • i planted some seed's at the begining of the summer(2008) and they still havent flowered let alone bloomed how long should it take for one to fully develope? and thankyou for posting^^i love these flowers

  • How beautiful . . .

Is it possible to get some seeds from this beautiful moonflower?

I have morning glory seeds I could swap with you.

    Thank you.

It was a brief beautiful rest spot in the middle of my busy day.

    Angela

  • you can get them at a home depot or an idependent/superstore(if there is one where you live) or any flower shop that sells seeed's they are around 2 to 3 dollars canadian i'm growing some now but they havent flowered yet and are climing up the chop sticks i taped togeter hope this helps^^

  • i herd that they smell really good too ^_^

  • I love moonflower but I can get the vine to grow.

  • this is prety cool

u sound like the old guy from family guy lol

  • awesome vid! I tried growing some once... they never even sprouted =[

  • Beautiful video! I've grown them for a few years and they smell Heavenly!

  • One word: Beautiful!!!

  • no kaylarae, they live on the shoreline of a body of salt water.. they are VERY tough and rugged.

  • are these the flowers that are so sensitive to touch that the leaves will move?

  • Kaylarae, you are thinking of the mimosa or "sensitive plant"

  • Not only gorgeous, but very charmingly narrated!

  • beautiful. thanks for sharing.

  • So where do I get seeds for these things?

  • I have seen them next to the morning glories at home depot.. in those seed racks that stand up and rotate. I cannot tell the difference between the two until they bloom, both are growing here on the riverbank.

  • soo cool! it seems so..not plantlike, ya know? plants arent supposed to move! and how interesting that this and the morning glory both have psycho active effects.

  • no, they are triggered by a failing sun and close quickly when it rises, They are BRILLIANT white and are spectacular in the moonlight, hence the name.

  • ooh that is soo pretty! so call me a noob and all but does it only open in the moon? u no like sunflowers open in the sun?

  • Wonder what will happen if you cut it while it's blooming xD Will it continues, or will it stops? x3

Got the urge to try something evil as this, to ruin a beautiful flower.

  • Thats is so neat! I have moon flowers in my garden and its always fun to watch them opening when it gets dark. I hope mine come back this year.

  • you know thats a very powerful hallucinagen but i doubt its worth the risks
