Okay first off your bloody dumb! Breeding a guinea pig at any age can kill them. 1. breeding at 4 months can kill them because thats so young. 2. breeding AFTER 1 year can kill them. VETS (yes people who have animal medical training) agree that its 3 weeks for males to be removed. I thin UNTIL you get off your ass and go to school to learn animal whatever you plan on, stop giving our wrong information you dumb bunny you.
Sorry I ran out of room anyway the reason why I breed my females before 6 months of age is so if they go to a family or person that breeds them so their hips won't be fused and they won't have a hard time passing the babies and again I care for all of my animals like they are people and I would give my life to save them I only breed them so they won't die and each female I only breed once and I have a guinea pig that gave birth the other day and she was the last one that has been bred so what I
Fuck you bitch considering I care for my animals constantly I would give my life for them and with the 14 days thing I had a male that was born and he got one of my females pregnant when I put him in with her while I cleaned his cage and he was only 14 days old god dammit I didn't want to start a god damn fight I'm sorry if I made you upset anyway I'm not in college because I'm 15 but I am studying animals and I'm planning on going to college to get a phd in zoology and the reason why I breed m
Oh and the complications... I always make sure I have what I need and if theirs a problem and I call my nearest small animal vet and have them come over if I can't handle it on my own oh by the way did I mention I know allot about animals considering I'm studying zoology because I'm going to college for eight to nine years to have a phd in zoology and to become an animal vet and so far the only animals I need to study are horses, elephants, giraffes, the primate family, snakes, and turtles ;)
Actually it takes 14 days until their sexually mature oh and I was saying you need to take the male out cuz he will try to breed with the babies and they will most likely get crushed my friend left her male in with her babies and he crushed them from trying to breed with them oh and I know they have a high risk of dying when they have babies so thats why I only breed the ones that are 4 months of age so their hips don't fuse so sorry your wrong ;)
@LivesParody101 um actually it's at three weeks OR 21 days, not 14. and like i said this was a rescued pet. I DON'T OWN ANY MALES. i highly doubt you're in college, you act like you know what you're talking about... but don't. i really could care less about you and your careless breeding, i still feel bad for all the animals under your care.
I didn't breed the guinea pigs, I rescued a male and female. I'm not dumb, I know females can get pregnant after only 12 hours of giving birth. THE MALE I RESCUED WAS IN A DIFFERENT CAGE, thanks. Did you know how risky breeding guinea pigs are? The mom has a 20% risk of dying every time, not to mention all the complications that can happen...
And the babies do not become sexually mature until 21 days, so inbreeding coudn't happen unless dad was in there after 21 days. Thanks for the bad info!
Um next time after your guinea pig gets pregnant TAKE out the male he will try to breed with the babies when they are born I know this because I have been breeding guinea pigs for three years so unless you want inbreeding to happen you need to take him out and putt him in a separate cage But anyway nice vid the babies are cute:)
@LivesParody101 Obviously you haven't been studying enough. & If you love animals so much then why are you breeding your guinea pigs?!? Breeding guinea pigs for the fun of it, or just because should be animal cruelty, nobody cares if you have a vet near by, there are going to be NO complications if you don't breed! Why do you breed anyway?
Why don't you shut your mouth. Handle the truth & learn.
i love baby guinea pigs, mine had 5 babies 3 weeks ago!

@LivesParody101 You don't need to swear on here...geez.
Also what do you mean you only breed your pigs so they don't die? That doesn't make any sense. Good luck with school.
