Its ur hard drive thats not making it start the windows.. The bsod appears cuz if bad sectors in hard drive.. U need a new hard drive.. Its common prob with windows.. Depends on ur luck .. Lol

I have a problem with Acer Aspire one mini 8.9inch. Yes it is a great computer, but from one day to another just stop working fast. It is really slow. It makes this cracking audioy. LIke when windows starts (which now takes forever), the windows music cracks Open a program takes a long time. I was thinking it was a hard drive malfunction, but not sure. I tried it all, cleaning registry, defragmentt, delete big files, check disk, antivirus (two of them). System restore. NOTHING! Please help :(

I have a problem with the wireless antenna. It turns on automatically each time when I turn the computer on. I use cable home netwok system Internet and don't want the antenna to turn on. Is there a way to disable the automatic function on the antenna?

I got acer aspire one and it's not best laptop but fine for some period of time till you get another.. My problem is it's trying to finish up recovery alt f10 option it's says that it's installing clean up and it stays 35out of 36 !! Called them and they told they can fix it for one F..ing fee of 89.99 I told them my laptop not worth it !! This dumb fu..k told me local stores will charge me more .. The main problem of any Acer is that it's an ACER !!! I know this , i got one of those garbage: a 5251-1007 who had a 2 major break in 8 months, the shitty original 250 g. hard disc and now , the earphone jack housing ( had to change the 270 $ motherboard according to Acer ) I won't do this ,i'll weld a new one from a local electronic parts supplier and I can already see my next problem , the AC jack housing is loose too even if it still take charge

put in windows disk and do a recovery.. not a reformat.

if it has a wifi on off button.. try turning off wifi then booting. did I notice a quick flash of blue screen? might be bad drivers?

Also they decided to pull on the cord so the bottom is chipped along with a slightly bad hinge. THE BRIGHT SIDE IS ebay has plenty of broken computers that I can use for parts. LOL I'll never have to buy another laptop. (until I can afford the $20,000 desktop that I want which will be 10x better by the time I have the money saved)

Easyest way to fix this, it is to reinstall. Buy a SATA/IDE - USB cable connect it to the laptop and to a cd/dvd rom fom any desktop computer and then reinstall.
