@Reecethomas34 thank you mate! shortly after posting this video, i moved everything into juwel vision 260 :D in 260litres they had some space to swim!!! :)
@bednim that's impressive. do you not siphon the substrate then? if not then that's incredible. i have had my tank for 5 years but am suffering from a slightly high level of ammonia at the moment. i'm amazed you haven't had any problems if you don't siphon. i thank you muchly for this video as i am currently considering getting one of these tanks in place of my 4ft. seeing yours has really shown how lovely this tank looks. again beautiful tank and thankyou for sharing it. :)
@crestieguy hi, thank you for your comment. no siphoning at all!!! substrate was untouched. i sold this tank to get 4ft juwel vision 260 but now its all gone and now i have an optiwhite tank with HC cuba plus some other stems and obviously co2 plus a LED lighting :D :D :D
this is quite simple the best tank i have ever seen i have been keeping them as a hoppie for about 5 years now but been round them all my life as my dad kept them. i can honestly say it was an honour to watch this video thank you
Absolutely love your tank, I am thinking of doing a similar thing to mine when I get it later this year. Would it matter too much if I kept the normal internal filter in the tank or would it benefit a lot from an external, also how many/what type of fish are there in it. Sorry for all the questions but I would really like to get my tank right!
@ATKthesecond well, you can keep internal filter. but you would benefit a lot from external, better flow, more media capacity. i had around 60 fish in there, black tetras, cardinal tetras, rasbora hengeli, dwarf neon rainbowfish.
Your tank is amazing. It really is. I love how it's so densely planted and it doesn't leave much negative space. Has a lot of really cool nooks and hide outs for the fish. They must be really happy. How much did it cost you for all that anubias?! That's A LOT!
Wow your tank looks really stunning, got a 180 myself. What type of filter media do you use in your eheim and how much of it? How long does it take before you have to clean the eheim out?
@akbar19942k10, i am happy you like it! media i use are cermic rings and few layers of sponges. the filter is not entirely full as i am using co2 reactor and dont want to reduce the power of filter.
i cleaned it once in 9 months? something loike that.
Those rasboras look great in that tank :D
