a fine compilation of old photos of a once proud and prosperous town which is now unfortunately seen as a mar on the map sue to crime and drug issues, however i have recently become a taxi driver in bacup and find the people of bacup to be on the whole a nice, friendly bunch of people. As always it is the minority that spoil for everyone!, if i had my way every little bastard that causes trouble would be strung up from the nearest lamp post!!!! probab;y see u soon eddie GB taxis!

I went to Thorn school early 1950s. My mum had a dress shop at 15,Union Street. I won freestyle swimming championships for 3 years.1957
