  • i cant even get on to the ball......

  • great exercise ! thanks for it and you cand do it wth variations like staing in your elbows or how i do it staing on my forehead and use your hands only to stabilize yourself ! great for the neck and works the quads nice also good for abs and core!

keep it up with those videos

  • How do you get the toes-on-the-ball position?? It's really difficult!! =(

  • WOW!! That looks so difficult!! O_O I'm going to try it right now, though ;-)

  • i love ur videos!they are v inspiring!!

  • I do many ball exercises, but for this one, I cannot seem to get myself in the beginning stance. Any suggestions?

  • Why not just do an air squat?

  • Gute Hammer Übung

  • Excellent!

  • Hi Adam,

great videos,i have a question when can a beginner start this quad extention exercise?. I noticed you do not have a video for ball squats.

  • This guy is quite sexy :)

    & exercises are good ofc;)

  • I am a Runner/Marathoner and have been using the SB for about 4 months with good results. However now that I have seen these videos of Adam and his techniques I am REALLY making progress with OUTSTANDING RESULTS, Thanks Adam!

  • Adam 1, Beargym 0 haha

  • This exercise is a take off on the prone jackknife or knee tuck which trains the lower and deep abdominal wall in a dynamic environment. The QE on the ball works the quads and complements hamstring curls. I use exercises like this to access remedy some of the hip/back movement dysfunction I see in my practice. I was introduced to this concept by Paul Chek. They're also useful to use during a light training cycle when taking a break from deadlifts, squats, lunges etc.

  • Perhaps we can agree to disagree. These are the same exercises I use with clients all the time. I've successfully trained people in their seventies with SB exercises like bridges etc. The "boi" (whatever that means) is me, not a "model". I'm 38 years old with a wife and two kids. If your program will keep me: pulling 500 lb deads, squatting triple my bodyweight, rock and ice climbing, running 5-6 min miles and feeling great, sign me up.

    Kind regards - Adam

  • Way to tell him Adam! I think you're conditioning is something to seriously aim for- if you can maintain a body of this quality, a wife, two kids and have a successful career in Physio and PT then it's obvious that your techniques are A1!

I'm a javelin coach and also throw all 4 implements in track and field- I will personally be implementing much of this stuff into my workouts- ASAP!

  • Adam, Great exercise!!
