I have a question: How do you get more power from your voice? No matter how force I use with my diaphragm, I can't get any louder. Someone please help.

It takes time. Don´t force it. Make sure you have the balance between the air from below, and the "resistance" from the cords. If that´s intact, the cords WILL grow in strength - IN TIME. Again, it takes time. If it was that easy, everyone would have a great voice. Begin your day with lip rolls, and then some more lip rolls just before you go to sleep - and good things will come your way.

Screw it! Soon as I can get up the cash (I [barely] work a minimum wage job) I'm getting both DVD's or whatever I need to get. I can't afford to get actual vocal training (I'm not too cheap, I really don't have the money) so the DVD is probably the closest thing to vocal training I'll get. But it will at least be very knowledgable and up to date with singing techniques and shit. Currently I'm just doing a warmup routine I made from your warmup videos and singing afterward.

... and even THAT has shown some level of improvement! I still can't sing but I'm noticing that I'm getting better and m voice feels freer! So hopefully, when I get the DVD I'll be able to see some real improvement and be able to sing, eventually. (Although I know I still ought to get actual training from a face to face instructor, but this seems like a good supplement)

I practice singing only if I go take a baath (they said it work, I don't know if it works. they said that it help relaxes your muscle.) I really don't know how to sing. ok Eric, I have a question for you. I have a problem with choppiness lately. Like in the middle of a long note, my voice would stop, and come back again where it left off. Like it has a mind of its own. Its kind of annoying. So, how do I fix that? Also, what causes choppiness to begin with?

Hey Eric, you probably won't get this because your SOOOOO Famous! lol. I was just wondering about lip rolls. When I do lip rolls from my head voice to my chest voice my voice cracks in the lower register and for some reason I keep singing my lower register in my head voice when I roll down. Do you know how to fix that? Oh and I'm guy by the way if that helps anything.

I am noooo expert on voice here but there is something missing in Sara's voice. A certain mellowness, roundness or whatever. I am sorry but I cannot find the right words to express this. Her voice sounds 'brassy' and wild. It needs some polishing.

poppa2006, I disagree with you. Sara's sound is well supported, and healthy. Her doctor's laryngoscope has proven this fact. Her tone is clear and is - in my opinion - perfect for the style of music that she sings (she's already got a growing legion of fans who agree). In the end, your issue is truly a matter of personal preference and not a matter of any official standard by which quality of vocal tone can be measured.
