if you are talking about versatibility, and skiing in general, they are great. Now, if you talk about durability, they are shit due to it extreme flex.
which is a better ski, the ar6 or the Pipe Cleaners. im just getting into the park and i dont know which ones are better for me. also i go very fast when not in the park.
it sounds like for what your doing you should get the ar6. ar6 is a better all around park ski and the pipe cleaner is to stiff for someone just starting. ive been skiing park for for a long time and the ar6 is my favorite ski
I have alpha 1 's and their is no problem with wobble they flex enough to give you a crisp pop off kickers and out of the pipe and go big or go home if you want a good ski don't be super cheap and by shit cock skis
that's right, but maybe I'll try some chronics i've had good comment on my friends pair and yeah if thay do the same job or best I'm ok with paying a few hundred bucks less lol
Yo, how tall/heavy are you? I got some last year model AR6s on the cheap as my first ski, in 171, got them standard mount as my all mountain ski. Looking to upsize with centre mount for park party time... Can't decide whether to go 176 or 181.
If you're talking about general shredding and carving, then don't worry. Any decent park ski rides just as well as (if not better than) your average carving ski.
i bought the 09 ARV and it is amazing free ride and very good freestyle as well. really theee best all round ski you could get. only thing it cant do amazingly is rails...but still its all right. probably the ski for you unless you want something a little wider then you'd be looking at JJ's.

If I am looking for a real GOOD (not ok) park ski tha won't wobble like a frickin rubber band on groomers is that the one for me. anyone toughts??
0nTheTarget 2 years ago
armada is too epensive... such skis dont live that long if you really use them... i would choose cheapier skis...

i got ar5s for 200 dollars just get them off ebay and it was new
raffertyraffraff34 2 years ago
Yes Armadas skis are very expensive. Line Chronic or Volkl Wall would be better choice if you like stiff park skis.

I have bought this ski mainly for Park skiing, but do you think it can do powder okay?
Skantzeman 3 years ago
Yeah it should be fine in pow. on the Armada website it rates it as 6/10 but Once you get used to your ski it should do fine.
