  • Nolan's version is good, but Burton's Batman is still the best.

  • @ronin6401

Nolan's versions are the best ones, but Burton's are more fun to watch.

  • can someone upload the commercial for pokemon cereal?

  • the box looks cool

  • they should bring this back in stores .......but i agree health food is good too

  • i would've kept that box

  • That cereal taste like captain crunch but in shape of batwings i remember lol.

  • I wish they would stop making cread rip-off of cerals we enjoyed as kid. Go to Aldis and see what I mean,

  • Its just captain crunch shaped like bat signals

  • @onexero1 it said it was honey nut flavored

  • OMG I remember that cereal! Holy crap! I was like 4!

  • You have never seen a spoon dive into a bowl of cereal as intensely as in this commercial.

  • You know, I appreciate you giving me the cereal, Batman, but you didn't have to shoot down my garage door, blow up a part of my house, then crash in through my skylight. You could have just knocked. Plus, it's like, two in the morning. Why the fuck did you decide to deliver the cereal now?

  • [O_O]

HOW THE HELL DID I MISS THIS?!

    *thinks back*

    ..........

Nope, I don't ever remember seeing this in stores. FUCKING EPIC!

  • This was an awesome cereal that i loved since i was 7 years old when this movie came out, i saw this movie about 4 times in my city's theaters when it came out and became a Batman fan since then thanks to this as i been reading some comics of Batman, watched the campy TV show on Family Channel, and even had some 1989 movie merchandise especially a magazine of the movie.

  • @Johnlindsey289 I saw this one in theaters as well and instantly became a Batman fan. I had a ton of merchandise too. I had the Batcave action figure set along with the Batmobile, Batwing and all the figures, trading cards, soundtrack, a making-of book, etc. I remember eating this cereal too. I thought it tasted pretty good, but i thought the Ghostbusters cereal was better. lol.

  • @TheAltair4

Me too, i also had the soundtracks to both with Prince and Danny Elfman, a making of book (The year after), trading cards, having the toys, had the NES game, T-shirts, PJs, ate the cookies, had a lunchbox, had Taco-Bell cups, and even had bedsheets. Kim Bassinger was sexy in this movie i gotta admit and Jack Nicholson was great but not as great as Joker, did you also remembered watching the campy 60's show on Family Channel as well?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, Jack was pretty much born to play the Joker and Kim Basinger was smokin hot in this movie, i must say. I remember having a huge crush on her after seeing the movie Blind Date as a kid. I remember watching the 60's show and even the goofy feature length movie on cable back then too.

  • @TheAltair4

I still think Mark Hamil and Heath Ledger are the best Jokers ever. I've always had a crush on Michelle Pfeifer and Kim Bassinger back in the 80's and 90's as a kid and teenager. Did you also see Pet Sematary, Indiana Jones 3, Ghostbusters 2, The Abyss, Back to the Future 2, Little Mermaid, All Dogs go to Heaven, Elm Street 5, Friday The 13th 8, Fly II, Honey i Shrunk the Kids, Lethal Weapon 2, Christmas Vacation, Star Trek 5, Bill and Ted, and The Wizard in theaters too?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah,Mark Hamill's voice work for the Joker was pretty spot on and Heath's Joker was a fresher, darker take on the character for sure, but i just love the look of Jack's Joker the most. I saw all of those movies in theaters back in 89. I remember being kind of disappointed with The Fly 2. I saw Pet Sematary, Indy 3, Ghostbusters 2, Back to the Future 2, Elm Street 5, Friday the 13th 8 and Christmas Vacation several times each.

  • @TheAltair4

I even got the VHS in my christmas stocking with the NES Batman game and did you had the bank too with a poster?

  • @Johnlindsey289 Was this cereal any good? I wanted 'cause of the bank as a kid.

  • @rang3r34

Yes it was much like Captain Crunch with a bit of honey taste to it as i recall

  • @Johnlindsey289 Sounds great!!

  • @Johnlindsey289 Yeah, i had the bank and poster along with all of my other Batman merchandise as a kid.

  • I LOVED THAT STUFF! I WANT IT AGAIN XD

  • It looks like tiny chunks of corn you pick out of an outhouse.

  • That cereal was good!

  • I use to love this cereal

  • The adventure continues, huh? I've not had many adventures where the roof of my mouth bled like a sonofabitch.

  • best toys ever.... had a piggy bank, gun that shot red darts and small batman race car

  • Why did they stop making cereal based on movies? I remember Rockin Batman cereal when I was about 4 years old.

  • whats next batsnacks

  • It's fucking Cap'n Crunch in the shape of little bats. That's all it was. But damn, did we kids ever fall for that shit.

  • BATMAN... the cereal.

  • I used to eat this when I was a kid. I remember really enjoying it.

  • i wounder what was on tv

  • fuck coco puffs i got to get this

  • Comment removed

  • I remember Batman movie cereal which, came out in 1989 and I bet Warner Brothers and the stars received, millions for the phenomenally successful blockbuster Batman. Batman's film fame didn't stop there Taco Bell advertised him and other companies as well too. I wonder if Superman ever got cereal ads and food ads back in 1978 with Christopher Reeve and Gene Hackman.

  • OK.. which one of ya'll tried this cereal.. FESS up...

  • man the box design is so simpe but BRUTAL

  • man, i remember eating this as a kid:) and loved it... now i wish i would have saved the cereal box

  • epic

  • The Smashing Taste Of Batman Cereal lol

  • Holy crap I want one spoonful so I can be 5 years old again. And damnit I want another Batman bank that came with the box. I lost mine.

  • i remember that shit. it was basicly capn crunch made into bat shapes. pretty good though

  • @malcolmhex Aren't ALL movie tie-in cereals basically Cap'n Crunch made into different shapes? In the UK I remember Batman Returns double chocolate cookie things shaped like bats, they were surprisingly good. God, there was Returns crap cluttering up the shelves for YEARS after the movie opened

  • Heh, I still have that bank. It has arcade tokens in it.

  • Robin, The Bat Cereal!

  • @MiddleEasternBorder

    Never again good Sir!

  • wow commercials sucked back then

  • @rascusmonkey lol? why they actually show the product in these commercials....

  • i totally argee they need to bring back things from a happier times

  • omg that box is epic

  • keith earl jones... lmao

  • Breakfast, Mr Wayne?

  • i remember the piggy bank!.. it was a solid black bust of batman!

  • batman........ CEREAL!!!

  • black bowl with yellow cereal, fucking awsome

  • It was practically cap'n crunch in the shape of bats. but it was amazing.

  • It did come with a piggy bank. So, for those of you playing along at home, that piggy bank was officially "Batman: the movie: the cereal: the piggybank." In that order.

  • how old is this?!?!?

  • @partygirl209 ,1989-1990

  • I'm about to pour a bowl as we speak.

    SCREW THE EXPIRATION DATE!

  • This cereal was so frikin good

probbly not healthy as it was super sweet....but thats the way cereal outta be!!

  • @mbenzsl2000 LMAO!!! "this cereal was so frickin good" OMG im rollin!!! hahaha, second the motion

  • Those times were good, back then there were no crappy games on the back of the box, just the same thing, back and front. But now, everyone cares about health, everything is healthy with cereal now. It's not as sugary as these kinds of cereals used to be. I would pay money to get the box itself. I remember this because the box used to glow in the dark.

  • I WANT SOME NOW! LOL

  • cereal just isnt the same

  • this was the best cereal I ever had the pleasure of enjoying as a kid. can still remember how amazing it tasted. definitely close to Cap'n Crunch but still had a unique flavor

  • Dude, my brain explodes from the awesomeness of this cereal! :D

  • The desing of the package was AWESOME! Gotta get my hands on that! Maybe they got it on Ebay :)

  • great cereal i use to eat this cereal all the time i got a poster out of this cereal but i think you had to send away for it the poster was not inside the box i also remember the logo would glow in the dark

  • i wish is still had the big plastic bank that came with it lol

  • I remember this Cereal it was delicious ^.^

  • am i correct in thinking that it tasted a lot like Cap'n Cruch? i thought I read that somewhere. do you remember?

  • It does taste like it. That probably why it was yellow it too. ;)

Batman Returns cereal was crap though. Don't know why they didn't keep the same cereal from the first for BR.

  • It was Cap'n Crunch shaped as bats....and they were great!! I ate them utnil they didn't make it anymore.

  • Yeah it did Taste a lot like Capn Crunch

  • nothing but captain crunch

  • I remember this commercial. Excellent!

  • You've got to be fucking kidding me, I NEVER knew that....EPIC!!!

  • they need to bring this cereal back. the cereal industry now is run by pussies who like healthy stuff, we need batman cereal

  • @Browni666 haha! that is great!

  • @Browni666 Yeah, man, I HATE healthy cereal. Though, I don't know if this one was very good. A lot of times these movie-based cereals taste awful. But, man, you can't beat the Pebbles cereals, the monster cereals, Cap'n Crunch, Cookie Crisp, and Lucky Charms!

  • @slave2moonlight

What did you think of this cereal? as good as E.T. cereal and better than Ghostbusters cereal?

  • @Johnlindsey289 I can't remember how good this one was, but like I said, these movie based cereals usually weren't good. If memory serves, it wasn't great. I think E.T. might have been the best of the bunch, that I remember off hand, with its peanut butter flavor.

  • @Browni666 Damn straight. We need these classics to come back.

  • I dont have the box just the front side of it, i remember cutting it and putting it on a frame when i was a kid. lol

  • A friend of mine recently gave me the box (no cereal inside), and with the piggy bank.

  • I'm Batmaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan!

  • I wish cereal boxes looked like that still. That was the coolest box I've seen!!

  • Stylish

  • I loved batman cereal.

  • I had this cereal when i was 8 in 1989 in the wonderful summer of 1989 and it was quite good and i had some Batman merchandise.

  • It's delicious, nutricious, and part of this balanced and extremely nerdy breakfast. I want a piece of that action!

  • Thats gotta be tha best cereal boX ever created..how cool would that be nowadays to have this I think we got a boX or 2 at one time then it disappeared!!

  • You capitalistic amis create every piece of shit to make money, right?

  • Yeah I had the piggy bank! I have a picture of my old room and a giant bust of Batman plunked on my desk is a little out of place in my 6 year old girls bedroom, but I think it made any piggy bank robbers think twice. Good cereal, too.

  • I remember this cereal, it was basically the same recipe as Capt N Crunch. Except it was shaped like bats. o.O

  • hahaah I was just about to write this :o)

    I remember :o)

  • I would like to see this ad narrated by Christian Bale:

"Where the fuck are my fuckin' cereals, you fuckin' amateur???"

  • LMAO

  • thank you

  • who ever gave my comment a poor comment fuck you

  • well, dont worry about a thing, i positive commented you

  • I wish I could go back to then...

  • Holy crap! I don't actually remember eating that. What did it taste like?!

  • We used to have so many awesome movie & cartoon cereals back in the day. The 80s ruled!

  • i was negative 4 wen dis cereal came out

  • Oh My God! I remember that!

Very nice job! Keep up the great work! Thanks for posting!

    A++++++++

Have a great night, a great day tommorrow, a great night tommorrow, a great week, a great month and a great summer! Puerto Rican Love from New York City!

The first Batman movie was the coolest one of the Tim Burton/Joel Schumacher series!

  • Cool

  • fuck, i wish i would've had one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the box looks soooooo awesome

  • The Darkest, most brooding cereal ever!

  • i wonder if jack nicholson eat this or tim burton

  • yeah, and look how well they turned out

  • I love they say its a complete breakfast with all that fucking sugar for a kid to be eating lol

  • That cereal sucked, but the box was kickass.

  • Wow I wonder if they made Back to the Future cereal...

  • I remember this I think I got the mini comics of "The Untold Legend of Batman" inside or I had to order it from them. They tasted a bit like Captin Crunch, I though, but don't remember if they where from Post or which company made them. Thanks I remember this, I thought the commercial was pretty good also.

  • I have a box of this STILL SEALED with the bank attached! It's on my Batman shelf. I think it's my favorite piece in the collection!

  • I remember one Saturday morning when I had an upset stomach. I ate a bowl of this and a few minutes later threw it all up. I can vividly remember dozens of little yellow bat symbols swirling around the toilet bowl. Ah, memories...

  • Looks like corn pops to me lol

  • actually it looks more like captn crunch and guess what? that's exactly what it tasted like lol.

that cereal was great and the box was cool as shit.

  • Exactly. I remember this cereal like it was yesterday and it was really just Capt N Crunch shaped like bats

  • Man, the 80:s got cerials for everything

  • that actually looks pretty good, i wish i could try some, oh well

  • You could try it. But by now, 20 years later, almost, it may be kind of stale. Just kidding. It was actually just Captain Crunch in the shape of little bats. I personally don't like Capt. Crunch though. I would rather have had lucky charms cearal peices shaped like bats with marshmallows shaped like batsymbols. As we all know, all cereal is greatly improved, by marshmallows.

  • God how easy it use to be to sucka kids into buy a product. Nowadays companies are somewhat sneaky!

  • the box would be cool to have

  • Honestly, most yellow sweetened corn cereals that came out were basically Cap'n Crunch in a different shape....yet we didn't care.

  • If Bruce Wayne's parents were never murdered, we wouldn't have this fine cereal.

  • What a sacrifice.

  • wow didnt know did this

  • they really put a fucking muffin next to the batman logo.

  • Of course, you can't have Batman cereal without the special Bat-muffins!

  • I can't remember when I use to eat that cereal, but I remember it tasted so good, I miss it.

  • I used to love this cereal. I ate it before school every morning.

  • Batman The Cereal. Hilarious!!

    I want a bowl.

  • LOL. I was like 7 years old at this time and this commercial suckered me. I nagged my mom 2 buy for me. That shit was nasty. LOL.

  • i dont think i was ever able to finish the whoe box of bat cereal (has anyone?)

  • i wish that batman cereal would be on grocery store shelves forever

  • Cereal always takes itself seriously, but Wwhy? It's just [insert cereal here] with another box.

  • LOL, I had the piggy bank for the longest time, I've lost it now though. =( I completely forgot it was an actual Batman-branded cereal... I thought some other established GM-brand just got to promote it or something, haha. Wow.

  • It was actually pretty horrible.

Also I had the piggy bank that was shrink-wrapped to the box but when I put it in the bathtub with me the decal washed off.

  • wow, i can remember having the cereal for breakfast!!!
