The biggest unanswered question in Harry Potter is: How in the heck did Dumbledore beat Grindlewald when Grindlewald had the Elder Wand? The Elder Wand is shown HERE allowing Dumbledore to block the Avada Kedavra (it's the same color spell as the movies have used before, assume Voldy has done it so much he can cast it nonverbally) as if he had Harry's Pheonix Wand. Unless Dumbledore is REALLY fast and he picked up Harry's Wand here? idkn...

@MattFerrantino He didnt beat grindlewald, he disarmed him. The Elder wand was made to beat anyone in a duel, not to be permanently bound to one person. Like how Draco disarmed Dumbledore, and became its master, then Harry disarmed Draco, and became its last master.

I have read the Book's, and I think this scene definitely does it justice. A small minority say how Dumbledore look's weak hear, that's not what I saw. Dumbledore look's very powerful in this scene, and is one reason why Voldemort sigh's, because he realizes Dumbledore is no match for him. He protected Harry from the Priori Incantatem aiming towards Harry, killed the Fire Serpent and hurtled it back to Voldemort, made an Epic Water Sphere, pushed the inverted spell back, and saved Harry.

this is more acceptable than the fight scene between Harry and Riddle in HP7p2, first of all, they didn't battle throughout the school, it was in the great hall, in front of everyone, and before that, Voldemort was fight Minerva, Slughorn, and Shacklebolt simultaneously, then when Bellatrix gets killed by Molly, Voldy flips the fuck out and takes down all 3 of them, THEN, Potter reveals himself to be alive and fight him.

I love the Dumbledore vs Voldemort fight scene, mostly because it succeeds where other fight scenes don't. It's short so it doesn't get boring, there's no music so we focus on the action and it feels more tense, and the special effects are second to none.

Sorry, but no. This battle and the Goblet of Fire's battle against Voldemort were much better. Voldemort died out so anticlimactic in Deathly Hallows part 2 and was just such a wuss in general
