  • :) Hello in your channel

  • Basically the whole idea rests on the observation that black holes seem to have an infinitely dense singularity at the center, and the big bang seems to have begun with an infinitely dense singularity, so perhaps the two phenomena are related somehow.

  • white hole, is feeding the expansion of the universe not a big bang Sunday, February 26, 2012 what is wrong with big bang ? it may have never happen. math suggests we live in a black hole .black hole would also suck in space and time a long with matter matter runs out or low .space still getting suck up and sill filling up the black balloon we call the universe wrote by paul goodell empty space sill has mass ,energy and force

  • a question that cant be answered . where did the big bang happen ? if the big bang was the start of the universe then it couldn't of happened in the universe

  • how can you give density to dark energy? (16:00)

  • prt2 that was an exaggeration but really act more civilized and stop trolling i accept anyone no matter what but it still bothers me when i see hate and hate is what starts problems let someone believe in what they want or try to have a intelligent conversation with them and not "you believe in something that i dont you sir are retarded and you molest children and you hate those who are different" no say something like this "i believe in something different and this is why" its really not hard

  • why r their so many intolerant people here seriously if someone believes in something then let them without pushing your beliefs on them (im talking about those who r being bible bashers) sure i believe religion is bad but i still believe in god, Jesus called those who were religious whores i love god and Jesus but still believe in science, people need to learn to be more tolerant people are not going to listen to you when your acting like a 5 year old child "no your wrong and stupid and im not"

  • shit not only vast but heavy as fuk to dense as fuk 1000 metric tons 1 teaspoon

  • Sunday, February 26, 2012 what is wrong with big bang ? it may have never happen. math suggests we live in a black hole .black hole would also suck in space and time a long with matter matter runs out or low .space still getting suck up and sill filling up the black balloon we call the universe wrote by paul goodell

  • But if there are gravity that pulls the Univurse together.

There must be a Magnetic field somewhere.. ? eh?

  • MIND FUCK. why are there even dislikes on this video? That's like seeing dislikes on a video based on how hair grows... it's science. maybe one day you'll get it.

  • @burymeindiaboli Religious Crusaders, most likely.

  • @burymeindiaboli Sunday, February 26, 2012 what is wrong with big bang ? it may have never happen. math suggests we live in a black hole .black hole would also suck in space and time a long with matter matter runs out or low .space still getting suck up and sill filling up the black balloon we call the universe wrote by paul goodell empty space sill has mass ,energy and force maybe you do not understand what you are talking about . go to school

  • @greenearthnazi20204u Go to school? to hear theories? theories mixed with scientific facts. You should probably shut your mouth. I was simply impressed and enjoyed the video. mind your own fucking business

  • @burymeindiaboli often people who do not understand something cry and act if they can say some important. it come out as insecurity and unable to deal with reality .

  • @greenearthnazi20204u

"math suggests we live in a black hole"

Since when? a Black whole has hyper gravity and no time, there is no light either. That's what you think the universe is?

  • @burymeindiaboli sometimes dislikes are not based on the subject but on the production values. like for me the audio has too much bass and makes it hard to hear. i hate when i find what would be a great video but is ruined by needlessly loud and crappy music for example.

  • "...We have constructed the heaven with might, and verily, it is We who are steadily expanding it.... " (Surah 51:47). Glorious Quran.

  • @tupaki786 yeah, too bad the translation is incorrect. stop misleading people with this bullshit.

  • Oh you are wrong Maury, as the human kind may as well already be dead. These people, a failed point of evolution in which they have the brain to "think" but no ambition or understanding for it to matter. Our society, the symbol humans have made for themselves... a bunch of animals with the ability to civilize primitive instincts. Human kind is dead. It is time for the exceptions to rise... (Even if it has to be those apes)

  • why would anyone deslike this video?

  • Love it.. The Human Kind will never die ... Thumbs up if you are smart and feel like an alien

  • how would someone become an astronomer and where would you find employment

  • Much more intellectually stimulating than politics, sports, entertainment, or any other shit we like to distract ourselves with.

  • me gustan mucho estos videos son asombrosos...

  • I am 15 years old and I actually understand some of this.

  • @ gumballs21 Actually the big crunch is the least likely scenario in regards to the fate of the universe. The heat death is much more likely. The heat death is when due to dark energy's influence over the expansion of the universe, a state of maximum entropy (complete disorder) is reached and after all the matter of the universe has decayed, including black holes, all that will be left is a sea of photons and time itself will cease to exist. After that who knows what will happen.

  • there was the big bang, and they say there is gonna be the big crush, who's to say this hasn't happened before this current time.

  • Khatra cha

  • wow!

  • beauty :)

  • it begins with: cosmology. the study of a youniverse is a hoe!

  • 1:28

Thank fuck they have air conditioners.

  • This video beats a burning bush any day.

  • @JRDawggg You should keep the matches out of your front pockets...

  • looks so beautiful...

  • Nece Video I like it

  • Good Video, I like it

  • It's amazing that we are the only living things (that we know of at the moment) that are able to take in all this knowledge about the universe and continue to try and understand it all. We are so fortunate.

  • I was hoping to learn something. Instead I'm even more confused.

  • It is very misleading to say that dark energy has been discovered. It has been inferred, not discovered.

  • thanks for posting this video here... I really need this for my class discussion about universe.

  • Awesome video. Can anyone tell me what the song title is that plays at the end?

  • You (the one falling into the hole) wouldn't fall slower or even stop. Let's say the guy falling in holds a clock so the outside observer can see it - the faster (or further towards the event horizon) the poor guy falls, the slower the clock would tick from an outside perspective.

  • @megadrummer2 "future generations" in this instance means many, many thousands of generations in the future; when, due to the ever-increasing rate of expansion of the actual space between all galaxies outpacing the speed of light iself, the light from other galaxies will never be able to reach our telescopes, and thus, we will no longer be able to see them at all. From that point forward, all other galaxies (and the information therein) will effectively cease to exist to us.

  • @612Tiberius It has already been happening for a long time. Its called "the light horizon". The expansion of the universe has always been faster then light, anything beyond 12 billion light years (the age of the universe) is outside of what is observable.

  • Since we are expanding, doesn't this mean we are going to become a giant black hole larger then a Massive Star Cluster? Or doesn't this mean we were all born to die in a black hole? -_-

  • How can they say that future generations will know less about the universe than we do now because it is expanding away from us when technology over the last 20 yrs has been increasing so fast we can't even keep up with it? Doesn't it make more sense to say that the technology in the future will be much more advanced than today, so I don't think there will be a problem keeping track of what's happening. Hmm, bunk...informative video though.

  • Mass Effect soundtrack playing in the background makes this all the more epic!

  • Dark Energy? So is that what Dark Energon is made out of? Oh my god! Megatron must be stopped!

  • Another Lucas & Rodstein masterpiece!

    Bravo!

  • just one universe , to say a man was god is beyond stupid

  • Can't image how many knowledge and mysteries God his majesty hiding from us.

  • HAHA whats funny is that they found out the universe is expanding in the 20th century but that was in the quran 1400 yrs ago. So who says religion isn't scientific?

  • @MrThepwnstar But how could that fact be taken seriously when at that time they had nothing to prove it...they got lucky I guess, like many scientists got lucky stating things that would later be proven.

  • @arcanumi

    Or, God must exist!

  • light follows the curvature of spacetime.black holes warp space around themselves to such an extent that they literally pinch themselves off the universe hence light gets trapped inside its gravitational grasp which is called event horizon

  • 11:35 is that a man or a woman?

  • man this show sometimes mind f@#$ me really bad X_X

  • Does anybody know if the theme playing during the credits has a name?

  • When's the next episode coming out? Show is brilliant!

  • I hate the new utube. Another part of our lives that has become infected with the commercialization of clean living and clean entertainment. I find it disturbing that it is impossible to get away from advertisement. This was the reason I disconnected my tv and cable and started downloading torrent files. I can understand 1 but not 4 commercials in 25 mins. ;-( bad utube

  • @Trevorthentcy You are so right, I wish America would stop being whores for just one min.

  • @MRUYENO if you use Mozilla go to Mozilla homepage go to add ons then Privacy & Security then adblock plus, works wonders ;-) Mozilla is the best

  • Damn nature! You scary!

  • haha, hooker telescope...

  • God isn't real dick head..

  • experimental astrophysics and particle physics is so dull, its just data analysis .. theoretical cosmology and particle physics is where the fun is at :)

  • Dark Matter, Dark Energy, Dark Universe or Dark Universes the beauty of EXISTENCE is that these Dark Substances are the nursery that created the Stars, Galaxies, and the Universe or Universes, therefore before we naive humans curse the Darkness maybe we should take time to learn more about it the mother that gave birth to us all...In the LIGHT and DARKNESS I trust)~X~( creation of GOD!!!XXX!!!~X~!!!~O~!!!HA

  • thats it, downloading ad-blocker thing.

  • Dislacke line like ninja you know its there but you cant see it

  • i love astronomy!

  • We tend to assume too much. watch?v=N792AJi9qHM

  • absolutly awesome videos! i want more! cheers

  • Oh I wish NASA was still funded. How can it be that so many people don't support the exploration of our very existence?

  • @WaconiaComedy Maybe, when these American idiots stop supporting war and being warmongers, and try to support Nasa, probably the best thing they ever thought off,

There would be a chance.. from a Canadian, I hope our neighbors will stop thinking about war and more about astronomy..

    Possible?

  • @gamerdude1246 You definitely bring up a great point, America needs to stay out of many things that aren't their business. But on the flipside, I don't see Canada contributing much to space exploration..

  • @WaconiaComedy Yeah man your right, that's my countries down side, not much caring about space exploration, but USA has a great potential for it, but noo, it always has to be wars and etc..

  • our future generations will know less? lol? only if all the current data is bombed and destroyed in a nuclear war, otherwise they'll still have access to it and be able to combine it with their future knowledge for a better grasp of the universe

  • He he he... Hooker telescope...

  • @Debbie321lopez Narrator: Dick Rodstein

  • wonderful

  • 2:04 photons are massless? Then why dos light get sucked into black holes?

  • @darkbawat because mass changes space, that is why light gets bend by gravity fields. It's described in the relativity theory

  • @darkbawat

evrything gets sucked in...even the space and time fabric

  • @darkbawat cause E=mc^2

  • @darkbawat that's just the way photons are described because their mass is to small to be accurately measured.

  • @darkbawat gravity still effects light, even without mass.

  • @devyasmd

well.. i heard that massles particles doesnt give a fuck about gravity.

  • @darkbawat

While it is true that photons are massless, they DO have energy. And since E=mc^2 as Einstein told is, photons have "energy-equivalent" mass, and thus do interact gravitationally.

  • @darkbawat

I think they where speaking of how near massless they were in order to progress the presentation and keep alive interest in the viewer. I hardly believe they were meaning to call photons massless from a literal perspective.

  • @darkbawat Isn't it just because it follows the curvature of space? A black hole Curving space in on itself exponentially as you approach it? Light likes to go in a straight line! and near and nearer to a black hole... a straight line ALWAYS falls into the black hole! Near enough and space is "falling" FASTER than the speed of light... therefore as light passes on a line towards us passing near enough to a black hole... It's straight line is through space is warped to collide with the Black Hole

  • @darkbawat

Photons have energy, if it has energy, its affected by gravity.

Kinda odd when you think about it, but that's what my physics teacher told me.

  • @keshaz12 I would say that gravity affects space around things, so it warps the path of light. That causes it to travel down into the hole. The hole is growing deeper faster than the speed of light so light can't escape

  • @DjCosmicRush

Ya know, black hole gravity power is so strong, that at a very specific point, matter actually travels faster than light for a time of 1-3 seconds.

  • @keshaz12 No it doesnt.

  • @elatus

    Yeah it does.

It bend space-time so much, that if will look at matter from afar it will look like its moving FTL.

  • @keshaz12 You have it backwards, things at higher gravity potentials and faster speeds experience time dilation relative to the outside observer. If you were falling into a black hole the rest of the universe would appear to speed up. The person outside would see you fall slower and slower until you appear to stop. Of course most of this happens inside the event horizon and you would be atomised, so no one would be able to see anything anyway.

  • @darkbawat Black holes curve spacetime so much that the way the photons have to go is so curved it never escapes. Think of space and time as the same thing and I think you will understand.

  • @darkbawat Gravity is the curvature of space. Photons move in a straight line but they do it through curved space.

  • @darkbawat i like the way you think

  • @darkbawat He meant to say photons are assless.

  • @darkbawat

    space curvature

  • our mind can't grasp the gigantic distance in space.

  • woah...

  • Warp 9

  • How can you see stars and the galaxy in mid day out there.. WTF?!

  • I hope we crack the secrets of the universe before we either die out or move to the stated position where they'll know less than we do now

  • I find it sad that people cannot understand this, maybe they should be educated more to understand the universe around them.

ever since i discovered spacerips channel i've been hooked to it.

  • {MOON} ENH SHAMAN LOOKING FOR SKILLED SHADOW PRIEST TO TEAM 1700 2s !! !! {MOON}{MOON} ENH SHAMAN LOOKING FOR SKILLED SHADOW PRIEST TO TEAM 1700 2s !! !! {MOON}{MOON} ENH SHAMAN LOOKING FOR SKILLED SHADOW PRIEST TO TEAM 1700 2s !! !! {MOON}{MOON} ENH SHAMAN LOOKING FOR SKILLED SHADOW PRIEST TO TEAM 1700 2s !! !! {MOON}{MOON} ENH SHAMAN LOOKING FOR SKILLED SHADOW PRIEST TO TEAM 1700 2s !! !! {MOON}

  • I always hated it when the ads would load and the video wouldn't. But it's even worse when the ads don't load at all, and you can't even watch the video.

  • 7:00 gravity a dynamic force... what force is static?? lol lets add words in there to sound smart

  • Best youtube Channel EVER

  • universe is not only stranger than we suppose, but stranger than we can suppose- jbs haldane

  • cosmic phenomena always gives me boner

  • Comment removed

  • very interesting. this is just one of the many mysteries of the universe.

  • That was truly fascinating. Great upload.

  • @boogiebuddy01 what has that gotta do with the video?

    ...

    but i agree :3

  • opening scene looks like neural pathways

  • @JoanneUp My god, you're right!

(There is no proof of any god existing, it's just an expression)

  • @SoWhat1221 Likewise just as there is no proof of dark matter/energy existing, it's all conjecture based upon speculation and no evidence, and the need for a cushy well funded job, for scientists greasing their own palms.

  • Nature, Y U NO TELL THE TRuTH??!

  • @LegoStopmotionTeam Cos nature is a bitch by nature. heh

  • @LegoStopmotionTeam hallo 9gager!

  • @LegoStopmotionTeam lololololol

  • @LegoStopmotionTeam "We live in the midst of Nature and are strangers. She speaks to us unceasingly and betrays not her secret. We are surrounded by her and locked in her clasp: powerless to leave her, and powerless to come closer to her. Unasked and unwarned she takes us up into the whirl of her dance, and hurries on with us till we are weary and fall from her arms." -- Johann Wolfgang Von Goethe

  • arrrrrrgggg commercials suuuuccckkkssss

  • Thank you very much Your excellences, for the best information Cosmology universal ,i love't and i like't

  • Meh, i'm still on up and I have college in like 8 hours.. I wish I could not go today and watch this all day

  • I wonder if Garnier dark spot protector can fix the dark spots on the sun.

  • Time and Space, what a bitchy combination!

  • Why isnt this stuff on mainstream televsion, i think the people of the world should be educated whether they like it or not; this is much better than an endless strea of soaps and reality and z list celeb wanabe's

  • @paradoxstate Easy people are to stupid to understand it.

  • @paradoxstate there are quite a bit of shows that do educate on the cosmos. Spacerip has the advantage of direct information from nasa and the ability to air straight to youtube without having to deal with a 3rd party broadcasting company.

  • @paradoxstate I disargee, people should be educated at his/her own will. Forcing people to study even though they didn't wanted to is just like forcing a dog to speak our human languages.

  • @PlushGallade and yet we force children to go to school. Should we stop doing that to? Besides, letting people see these kind of things on popular TV is not the same as forcing people to watch it, but it could increase the awereness of how much we actually know about the universe if it was on a channel everyone could get. I, for one, hate all the reality-shows and think them extremely pointless, but I don't have to watch them if I don't want to.

  • @HermioneBellamy13 At their own "will". <- The one you have overlooked.

  • @paradoxstate I couldn't agree more, Par! These programs are extreemly interesting and I don't mean,"The Big Bang Theroy" sitcom now in sindication! The closest thing to what you seem to be refering to is on PBS (Public Broadcast Station) network called Nova.

  • @paradoxstate Cause certain people want society to be dumbed down

  • @paradoxstate who the fuck watches tv? All the best shit is online

  • Honestly, I could probably narrate this video by myself because I know this stuff so well (conceptually at least). But I still can watch it over and over.

    I absolutely love astronomy.

  • perlmutter...UC BERKELEY GO GO!!! GO BEARS!

  • I hope i live to see the day we land on mars

  • WTF!? i didn't see this in my sub box

  • @spacerip Hey spacerip can you help me out? My astronomy book tell me that if your at the edge of a blackhole you can escape if you use lightspeed, but other sources disagree saying you have to engage in faster then lightspeed to escape, help?

  • you stupid retards. why the hack do you upload the same video twice, renaming it????????????????????????? im going to fucking unsubscribe you for that, RETARDS

  • @HCLivess What video is this the same as? And did you forget to go to your anger management class this week?

  • 30k? this should be 30million

  • Great video, but was anyone else not impressed by these major astronomical centers having A/C?

  • why is there dislike?? are those aliens disliking.... -.-

  • Welcome to San Andreas... Oh wrong video. Any way, love you Space Rip.

  • @waddledee1000 o yes bro GTA V :D:D I cant wait to kill some hookers in Los Santos

  • Come on, let's just enjoy the video and leave the tiresome science vs religion discussion out of this.

  • Fascinating.Thank you.

  • Ah I did more reading, it has no rest mass, thus is it cannot stay still. Amazing, its essentially nothing, yet its responsible for all energy exchange between particles :O What a fascinating universe we live it :D

  • @shkotay: One small correction: the photon mediates all energy exchange between particles influenced by the Electromagnetic Force, one of the four basic forces of nature. Two others, the weak and strong nuclear forces, are mediated by other particles, while gravity is believed to be likewise mediated, but no one as yet has managed to prove the existence of a "graviton".

  • @puncheex Thank you for the correction :D I love physics but am a layman at best. I can use any good info.

  • I am a total ylayman, perhaps a physics buff could tell me: how does a particle of light manage to travel forever and not empty the proverbial gas tank and then just sit at some point? If it exists, how could it be massless? If it is indeed massless why does it have a speed restriction? I know its properties and describe them to ppl, but I dont know why these properties are so. There are probably answers out there, just dont know them at the moment :O

  • Is dark energy God?

  • @ManlyMuscleDad there is no god

  • I believe that our universe will collapse one day, it's just that our universe is too young to show the signs of ageing (contracting) to see it's real future.

If the sign of cosmological constant is reversed (from + to -) like when the space-time has stretched too much, then no matter how fast universe was expanding it will slow down and start to contract.

But if our universe has too much of total entropy (near the end of ALL of it's cycles) it will end in Big Rip.

  • religion can blow me.

  • This is incredible. Iam writing a school report about this. Thanks ;)

  • lol religious and science people below me

  • @vibol03 lol
