All the things that the ´fale school´said are things real people say in real schools. But I know at my school those kids would have been in major trouble.
I feel like there's always gonna be separate groups in school, or classifications, if you will. There's always gonna be the smart people, the popular people, the emo people, etc. The difference is how these people are treated. Smart people either are teased for being 'know it alls' or put on top for excelling at life and going to Harvard while everyone else goes to Community College. Same goes for every other group.
I know what if feels like to be teased for the way you look. In year 7, Ugly Betty was my unofficial nickname. One guy would ask if i brushed/washed my hair. Another would just look at me an say, you need Clearasil. I've been told everybody hates be. I've been through more than one set of periods where I didn't have any friends.

At my school the popular kids hang out with the unpopular kids. I don't have any friends, so I just go to a teacher's classroom at break. I get made fun of because of my weight, and also I'm about 5 inches to a foot taller than everyone else. And I've never got higher than a C in my life. Teachers have thrown my homework in the trash in front of the class.
@imthetomboyemo if you drink lots of millk,( drink silk milk if you are worried about gaining weight) it will give you nice creamy clear skin. also, use alot of lotion, it should help your skin a little or alot. Depends on the type of skin you have. :)
Sooooo glad I go to a catholic school with probably the strictest dress code ever. Skirt below the knees, shirt tucked in, no makeup or jewelry... Makes learning and socializing a lot easier.

I don't see why so many people are hating on "plastics". Indeed. Having school uniforms is merely treating a symptom of the problem (prejudice in the form of judging someone based on the clothing one wears) but it is not treating the actual problem itself (prejudice as a whole).
I don't think uniforms will be the answer to this problem. People will simply be discriminated against for other reasons, such as skin color, religion, political party, hair, skin condition, height, weight even more than they already are.
Anything about your acne. It's sad but true, but the world does judge people based on their appearance. So get over it. You don't have to be a skinny, made up chick wearing four hundred dollar heels to look good. After the age of fourteen, the pity party don't fly so get over it, grab some class, change out of your baggy sweats, put on some makeup and wash your hair. Real schools are not like that. People, even the most mean and unintelligent of people, don't blatantly verbally abuse other people like that. Once the victim leaves, though, is a different matter. I think if it had been set in a real school just blurring faces, then the results would have been very different. More obnoxious staring and less cruel verbal abuse. I think the unpopular kids are playing up the "I've been through a lot so I can do and say whatever I want true or not" angle.

Anything about your acne. It's sad but true, but the world does judge people based on their appearance. So get over it. You don't have to be a skinny, made up chick wearing four hundred dollar heels to look good. After the age of fourteen, the pity party don't fly so get over it, grab some class, change out of your baggy sweats, put on some makeup and wash your hair. The only one who has the power to change what people think of you is you. Thats all there is to it.

I'm pretty middle of the range. I wouldn't say I'm crazy popular, and I'm most definitely not mean. Neither am I being made fun of. I'm not exactly slim. Nor do I have perfect hair or zitless skin. But that doesn't stop me from being friends with everybody. But I also feel very strongly about people who don't put any effort into their appearance. The world is cruel. High school does matter. You can't expect people to take you seriously if you wear baggy clothes, greasy hair and don't try to do

Real schools are not like that. People, even the most mean and unintelligent of people, don't blatantly verbally abuse other people like that. Once the victim leaves, though, is a different matter. I think if it had been set in a real school just blurring faces, then the results would have been very different. More obnoxious staring and less cruel verbal abuse. I think the unpopular kids are playing up the "I've been through a lot so I can do and say whatever I want true or not" angle.

I got so mad when Tamara said that when someone has acne they dont care about their appearance. I have acne and I'm always so bugged about it. I wash my face 2-3 times a day, put on a toner, moisturizer, acne gel, spot treatment, and blemish controls EVERY single day. I take care of my face more than people who have perfect skin. You don't just get acne because you don't wash your face (i mean, i WISHED it was like that).
