@Russlem he never voted for a tax increase, he was against the bailouts, he wants to audit and end the fed. He wants to legalise drugs or leave it to the state, he wants to end the war on terror, he wants to bring the troops home, he wants to stop militarism... There are lots of reasons to vote for Ron Paul... What is there to lose when all we seem to get are the same puppets passing each other the ball over and over again. I'll take that risk and vote for him.
How is this a reason to vote for him? I'd happily pay higher taxes if it meant having a standard of healthcare, life expectancy or quality of life expected of every other first world country besides the U.S.
What is there to lose? Our freedom and quality of life. Ron Paul says, "the system isn't working so let's pull the cops off the street and the criminals will do the right thing." He wants to revoke all social progress over 150 years too.
@Russlem When did he say he'd put an end to police??? Also, he never voted for a tax increase because the income tax is unethical; not everybody wants to pay a large sum of their hard earned money so the state can build turtle tunnels or be involved with the bombing of innocent children and adults overseas. Not everyone likes mass-murder... You'd happily pay higher taxes? Go ahead. Nobody's stopping you. But don't think you send government thugs in to rob & coerce those who peacefully opt-out.
That's what deregulation is. Taking the cops that keep megacorporations in check off the beat. He's stated this is his intended goal dozens of times on national television.
Its not robbery, its called civilization. This whole "its robbery" thing is laughable. You live in our society and then bitch when our laws inconvenience you. Stfu. And no its not unconstitutional either, article 1 section 8 clause 1 of the U.S. constitution and amendment 16 both.
@Russlem Tell that to the largest corporate entities that "pay" negative taxes. Civilization? Civilization is subcontracting a private agency (IRS) to collect taxes on everyone by force? That's not civilized. And no, collectivism FAILS. Sadly the bulk of tax payer dollars are spent on compulsory entitlements that some may never need or use; as well as to prop up this unsustainable militarism. In a sane society you pay for the services you need/want, not to perpetuate [coporate] welfarism.
Name one society in the developed world that that offers non-compulsory entitlements that then provide tax breaks. I guess all of the developed countries in the world with the highest average qualities of life are "uncivilized" and "insane". There's no talking with zealots like you. You don't occupy reality.
@Russlem Also, how is deregulation taking the cops off the streets??? Ironically the corporations MAKE the regulations, which in turn hurt the little guy & artificially promote monopolies as well as their own brand of welfarism. You don't really believe that cops keep the megacorporations in check....this is complete nonsense. Anyone who's been paying attention realizes Americas become a Corporatocracy, run by a circle of political and financial elite. Who DON'T adhere to the rule of law.
Its a metaphor retard. When you remove the regulators the businesses they regulate run amok. The same as pulling cops off the street expecting the criminals to behave themselves. Oh I see to removing Gleass-Steagall, the deregulation move MOST responsible for the global financial collapse was really just another act of regulation put in place by the rich and powerful to "hurt the little guy". Like I said, you people don't occupy reality, your positions aren't based on facts.
@Russlem A metaphor?? You really are incoherent. First you say Ron Paul wants police off the streets, now you're saying it's analogous to the deregulation of corporate entities. Hey imbecile, the corporations REGULATE THEMSELVES. More regulation does not equate to better constraints; on the contrary it's giving the corporations a boost and dumping problems onto the lower class. Look up the definition of deregulation, please. It doesn't mean there's no law in place to counter fraud, etc. Idiot.
What I find funny is you're commenting on a TYT forum, which is the organization which literally coined the metaphor that deregulation is taking the cops of the street and then you accuse me of being incoherent because you're too stupid to understand that sinple metaphor. I already said it but you're obviously illiterate. Glass-Steagall was regulation, Gramm-Leach-Bliley deregulated it causing the global financial collapse. Deregulation caused the financial collapse.
@Russlem I don't watch every TYT video, yet you expect me to take your weak metaphor seriously? The markets are currently over-regulated and guess what; the cops are essentially off the "streets". More regulations restrict the market but prop up monopolies and large financial institutions. Do a YouTube search for "Glass Steagall, Deregulation, and Ron Paul "; also Ron Paul voted against the repeal of Glass-Steagel so your straw-man fails there also. Do you know the definition of deregulation?..
Going back to your red herrings? As I said, I'm ignoring your stupidity until you address your own bullshit claim. COPY PASTA:
Name one developed first world society that gives its citizens the option to "opt out" of taxes. Until you answer this question I'm going to ignore everything you say from this point forward.
You said "In a sane society you pay for the services you need/want, not to perpetuate [coporate] welfarism."
Judging by your other comments you're just a troll looking for attention from anyone who will give it to you. Probably a sad lonely virgin in high school frustrated that no one likes your shitty personality so you come pick fights on the internet so you can feel big. It won't last though, just a matter of time before you hang yourself with a belt in your closet. Based on your other responses to other posters, won't be much of a loss.
@Russlem You completely fail to describe and attack my personal life but I assure you I'm only here to troll the trolls now crawl back under your bridge you faggot ;)
Its okay, when you finally muster up the balls to end it, no one will miss you. I can tell I really hit a nerve, which is why despite being a useless troll you felt the need to double post without using up half of your character limit on either comment. Just do it, no one gives a shit about you. I mean really if you had to admit you can only find enjoyment in "trolling trolls" then its pretty clear you've got nothing left.
@Russlem I honestly don't care what internet champions like yourself think or even assume about me because I made a "double post" Hahaha but go ahead keep responding I find it very amusing
@Russlem Aww please don't go, I was beginning to enjoy your enervated attacks on my personal life haha, I can see by your condescending comments to an "obvious troll" you really have some deep anger issues you need to address. Protip - Anger management
Your delusions of grandeur and superiority is all you have sir, A very pathetic existence indeed. I hope you can put on your "tough face" in real life as good as you do behind your computer ;)
@pullzdatrigga It must be a dark time in troll world where you have to go to a channel to view two year old videos because you actually lost an argument and don't want to admit it. Happy trolling. =D
@SocialDissimulation Hahahahaha I just thought i'd check out your channel and happened to come across that repulsing video you had which you seem to have taken down recently lol saw how much of a looser you are... lol only thing I was doing is pointing out how fucking delusional your phrohibitionist views are but obviously you haven't been taking your anti-psychotics, call me a troll, druggie, whatever makes your pathetic life a little better, I will not be responding to you
@pullzdatrigga "I will not bother responding to you...except for those thirteen thousand times." And you totally are a druggie, don't even bother trying to argue that. Anything to get your vice legalized -- it's not uncommon. Abandon on reason and understanding, as long as you're happy it doesn't matter. And she's actually my Fiancee now, not girlfriend. x)
Let me spell it out for you dipshit. Koch Industries, the largest conglomeration of companies on the PLANET privately fund the largest Austrian Economics think tank in the U.S.: The CATO institute. These policies are spouted as the gospel truth by your prophet Ron Paul. Now unless you think the richest, most powerful people literally in the country, possibly the world are pushing an economic policy NOT in their best interests, Ron Paul is in big business' pocket for FREE.
@Russlem Austrian? You mean liberarian think tank, and yes they're funded by Koch Industries; did you realize Koch has its hand in nearly every political and financial insitution in existence? Why wouldn't they have some part in a [quasi] libertarian think tank in Washington DC for peats sake.. Does that mean that every political philospoy the elites put their taint on automatically coincides with their NWO agenda? That level of loose paranoia is unhealthy & logically flawed.
Think tanks aren't academic, they're political. That's why they don't publish peer reviewed papers like actual economists. So your argument is that the super rich fund political organizations that they disagree with? And to say that the richest most politically active billionaires would only fund (and found in the case of the CATO institute) organizations pushing their agenda is "paranoia"? Libertarians truly don't occupy reality.
@Russlem You're quite delusional. We're doing the exact opposite of what the libertarian philosophy proposes; stripping liberties, perpetuating war, foreign entanglements, debasing the currency via corporate welfarism & endless fiat printing, propping up the welfare state through government force; doing away with the RULE OF LAW. And look where the global economy is going?! Down the drain. Maybe Koch Industrias funds CATO because gullible people like you deduct facts from baseless conjecture.
By the way I'm still waiting on you to name one developed first world society that gives its citizens the option to "opt out" of taxes. Until you answer this question I'm going to ignore everything you say from this point forward.
You said "In a sane society you pay for the services you need/want, not to perpetuate [coporate] welfarism."
Which societies are those that do this? Bear in mind I have a copy of the WHO's international report and will be checking their rankings.
@Russlem Hey. Why do the largest coporations pay no income taxes when their making profits than ever, while everyone else including those struggling pay high taxes? The answer is: America is bought and owned. Your support of the perpetuation of the status quo disgust me. Look up "America without income tax", our current situation has nothing to deal w/ tax cuts. It's not a revenue problem, it's a spending problem we have. The Fed & big government = disaster; you'll be sorry when it's too late.
@Russlem Lastly, the sad thing is you fail to realize you're part of the problem. Another cog in the machine churning out ideologies that the elites have kept running, & will keep running until the complete collapse of our 'empire'. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate offering significant alterations to this system; the only one who's proven himself genuine. YOU offer absolutely nothing except insane affirmations & logical fallacies. Your bond with the status quo is sad. So this is goodbye.
Its like saying, "we keep voting for the muggers, and complain when we get mugged, we should therefore vote for the arsonist, because at least it will be different when everything is burned to the ground!"
@Russlem no... you seem to think that RP will be a dictator and do as he pleases. He will have to work with the congress and the senate. He will rectify the balance of power in the US by giving power back to the states. I believe ONE term of RP will save us from bankruptcy and world war 3. Also, he acknowledge the people's dependency on "social benefits" so he doesn't expect he'd be able to revoke it but he will work towards less of it for the youngest if they wish to opt out.
He wants to privatize social security, don't sugar coat it. He wants to do the typical republican thing and sell out our quality of life to megacorporations. Just look at how spectacularly privatizing our prison systems worked: 25% of the entire world's prison population is in the U.S. Privatization FTW! Ron Paul 2012! Most states are currently going bankrupt, like California and Arizona. I'm sure that's the federal government's fault too, not that states are more easily bought.
You know what happens when states have power? The world goes to war with us. After the Revolution under the Articles of Confederation the brilliant and all powerful states decided to give Spain, France and the Netherlands a big "fuck you" instead of paying our debts and we almost had our only three allies declare war on us over it. Our founders threw out these bullshit guidelines in lieu of a more powerful central government literally preventing a war that would have ended us.
@Jex134 Either you cant read or you have such tunnel vision from drinking all the "Libertarian" Kool-Aid. I never said R.P. is corrupted by corporations. I have respect for Ron Paul when it comes to certain issues i.e. the Federal Reserve, but I don't agree with his overall philosophy and this fantasy of Austrian Economics, that the super wealthy and powerful love. You obviously just don't understand the large scale ramifications of putting in place a system based on that philosophy.
You idiots. You need to get over voting for someone who will beat Obama and instead vote for someone who has ideas that actually could offer up some change. Yeah Im referring to Ron Paul.
@spartan5127v2 You'd have to understand the history on the method of naming. Many cultures used patronymics, so that your last name would be a reference to your fathers first name. Such a name could be passed down for hundreds of generations.
If Ron Paul had the equal amount of coverage, he'd be winning! I have faith that somehow, some way, Source/God will place the energies into play to have the media give Ron Paul a fair shot... he's been preaching the same legitimate concerns, they've manifested as a reality and the people still ignore him? There are some mean people in power but i plan to create a better world and focus my energy on Ron Paul as I desire for him to be the Next President of the United Sates Of AMERICA.
This is more entertainment provided by incompetent candidates running for a position in government that 1. they don't take seriously, 2. have no concept of responsibility, and 3. are working in favor of their own ideological and economic advantage rather than that of America. Here is a complaining slogan I would love to see: Vote for me [insert politico], after all, I am a protege of Edward Bernays.
Why are liberals trying so hard to hand the nomination to Romney? It's like they want a candidate who has a chance of beating Obama to end up with the GOP nomination. If I were a lib, I would just shut up and not say a word about Bachmann, Trump, or Cain and just let them do their work dazzling GOP primary voters. But libs do Romney's job for him by picking at these no-chance candidates while putting it in everyone's head that Romney is the reasonable guy.
@HyrbidHermit Romney is John McCain. You're not going to get conservatives to enthusiastically get out to vote for the guy over Obama. Regardless of the polls, the voters still have to get off the couch.
@1995Nekfeu He also wrote his thesis on education in the Congo... can you imagine if he were a Democrat? Fox News and the rest of the right would be all over him! What a bunch of hypocrites.
It aggravates me that Americans are so split between Democrat and Republican. Can't we just vote on the legitimacy of the candidates and stop this categorizing bullshit? I understand the historical significance etc. but these classifications are just creating two opposing teams- where good politicians are being overlooked because they are being labelled 'Democrat' or 'Republican'.
I'm not a fan of Ron Paul or any politician, but I will say this: at least Ron Paul actually talked about politics somewhat and was not just walking around making silly noises and "telling" on the other republican "candidates".
From here on out it this is a battle between Newt and Mitt (what shitty names btw). Ron Paul is just the family dog running along side the car yipping and yapping and trying to keep people from forgetting about him entirely.
Obama is the wall street candidate. Believe me if Wall St. wanted to run a viable candidate in this election they would have and that fact should scare the shit out of you.
@Sull604 If and when he becomes the frontrunner, all the other Republicans will attack him for being a bit nutty, and his campaign will be done. Thats what happens to the frontrunners, they get attacked and they're done.
I dont think Ron Paul is relevant at this point. The end is near and the votes are about to come in. Newt peaked at the right time but if he falls he'll fall to Romney. Its officially a two man race unless Rick Perry is blessed by unforseen circumstances.
NEWT YOU'RE A FILTHY RACIST BIGOT PIG, LIKE THE REST OF YOUR FOLLOWERS!

Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Raelsatu
Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem Tell that to the largest corporate entities that "pay" negative taxes. Civilization? Civilization is subcontracting a private agency (IRS) to collect taxes on everyone by force? That's not civilized. And no, collectivism FAILS. Sadly the bulk of tax payer dollars are spent on compulsory entitlements that some may never need or use; as well as to prop up this unsustainable militarism. In a sane society you pay for the services you need/want, not to perpetuate [coporate] welfarism.
Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Raelsatu
"In a sane society"
Name one society in the developed world that that offers non-compulsory entitlements that then provide tax breaks. I guess all of the developed countries in the world with the highest average qualities of life are "uncivilized" and "insane". There's no talking with zealots like you. You don't occupy reality.
Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem Also, how is deregulation taking the cops off the streets??? Ironically the corporations MAKE the regulations, which in turn hurt the little guy & artificially promote monopolies as well as their own brand of welfarism. You don't really believe that cops keep the megacorporations in check....this is complete nonsense. Anyone who's been paying attention realizes Americas become a Corporatocracy, run by a circle of political and financial elite. Who DON'T adhere to the rule of law.
Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Raelsatu
Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem A metaphor?? You really are incoherent. First you say Ron Paul wants police off the streets, now you're saying it's analogous to the deregulation of corporate entities. Hey imbecile, the corporations REGULATE THEMSELVES. More regulation does not equate to better constraints; on the contrary it's giving the corporations a boost and dumping problems onto the lower class. Look up the definition of deregulation, please. It doesn't mean there's no law in place to counter fraud, etc. Idiot.
Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Raelsatu
Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem I don't watch every TYT video, yet you expect me to take your weak metaphor seriously? The markets are currently over-regulated and guess what; the cops are essentially off the "streets". More regulations restrict the market but prop up monopolies and large financial institutions. Do a YouTube search for "Glass Steagall, Deregulation, and Ron Paul "; also Ron Paul voted against the repeal of Glass-Steagel so your straw-man fails there also. Do you know the definition of deregulation?..

Probably a sad lonely virgin in high school frustrated that no one likes your shitty personality so you come pick fights on the internet so you can feel big. @Raelsatu
Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem Austrian? You mean liberarian think tank, and yes they're funded by Koch Industries; did you realize Koch has its hand in nearly every political and financial insitution in existence? Why wouldn't they have some part in a [quasi] libertarian think tank in Washington DC for peats sake.. Does that mean that every political philospoy the elites put their taint on automatically coincides with their NWO agenda? That level of loose paranoia is unhealthy & logically flawed.
Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Raelsatu
Russlem 2 months ago

Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem Hey. Why do the largest coporations pay no income taxes when their making profits than ever, while everyone else including those struggling pay high taxes? The answer is: America is bought and owned. Your support of the perpetuation of the status quo disgust me. Look up "America without income tax", our current situation has nothing to deal w/ tax cuts. It's not a revenue problem, it's a spending problem we have. The Fed & big government = disaster; you'll be sorry when it's too late.
Raelsatu 2 months ago
@Russlem Lastly, the sad thing is you fail to realize you're part of the problem. Another cog in the machine churning out ideologies that the elites have kept running, & will keep running until the complete collapse of our 'empire'. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate offering significant alterations to this system; the only one who's proven himself genuine. YOU offer absolutely nothing except insane affirmations & logical fallacies. Your bond with the status quo is sad. So this is goodbye.

Russlem 2 months ago
@Russlem no... you seem to think that RP will be a dictator and do as he pleases. He will have to work with the congress and the senate. He will rectify the balance of power in the US by giving power back to the states. I believe ONE term of RP will save us from bankruptcy and world war 3. Also, he acknowledge the people's dependency on "social benefits" so he doesn't expect he'd be able to revoke it but he will work towards less of it for the youngest if they wish to opt out.
Wenutz 2 months ago
@Wenutz
Russlem 2 months ago
@Wenutz
Russlem 2 months ago
@Jex134 Either you cant read or you have such tunnel vision from drinking all the "Libertarian" Kool-Aid. I never said R.P. is corrupted by corporations. I have respect for Ron Paul when it comes to certain issues i.e. the Federal Reserve, but I don't agree with his overall philosophy and this fantasy of Austrian Economics, that the super wealthy and powerful love. You obviously just don't understand the large scale ramifications of putting in place a system based on that philosophy.

It aggravates me that Americans are so split between Democrat and Republican. Can't we just vote on the legitimacy of the candidates and stop this categorizing bullshit?
