Yes, it may be a "logical fail" in your prideful, mortal-bound mind, but the spirituals work on a completely different set of rules, and God makes those rules. God can do anything, therefore He chose to live among us.

I downloaded all the podcasts of Paul Washers teaching onto my ipod and went on holiday. I spent two weeks on a cruise ship in the Med listening day and night (even falling asleep) to his teachings. It led me to pray earnestly to God, a re-evaluation of my life so far and to realise that God HAS given me a command to live by, to travel a road, to be His , now, at this time in my life....every other road leads to death, even if it seems right. Lord Jesus, please be the Lord of my life. Amen.

Where was the blood, and the resurrection? Many will be saved yet so as by fire, ( 1Cor 3:15). This my friends, is a FALSE GOSPEL.

Repentance, in connection to the saving gospel, is in relation to belief. This guy is trying to add works into the message.

Our good fruit is the outcome of a (true) believer, it comes along with repentance and belief, you cannot separate it, it comes naturally in the believer through the power of the Holy Spirit. 1Cor 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

14: If any man's work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15: If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

A party in this passage is saved; yet so as by fire.

Lots of people leave the church who will be saved for all eternity.

Paul is teaching TRUE biblical doctrine, something most Christians are not familliar with these days. Fruit bearing and Salvation are 2 separate issues. Salvation is free, and rewards will require works of faith.

Yes, I agree...our good deeds (apart)from God are as filthy rags, but when led by the Holy Spirit it is quite something entirely differnt. You see my brother, I never said good works in and of myself,( but in the Spirit of Christ Himself who lives in us.) Not I live, but Christ lives in me.

Anyone who can claim to paint an entire body of people as unsaved based on "leaving the Church" is a control freak, and adding works as a vindicating marker of salvation.

You took exception to my daring to address a broad brushed remark by Mr. Washer, eluding that anyone leaving the Church, (organization implied) was implied, not the Body of Christ as you elude, was EVER BORN AGAIN.

Mr. Washer made NO MENTION of the Body of Christ when referring to "leaving the Church".

He DID NOT INTEND to qualify that remark as Soulrestorer is now trying to imply by pretending Mr. Washers address, was related to "THE BODY OF CHRIST", when he NEVER inferred to any such thing.

I would also add, that the Kingdom message that Mr. Washer refers to, is a Jewish message. (Mat 10:5-8)

Go back a LISTEN TI THE VIDEO. Mr. WASHER MAKES NO SUCH CLAIM. He is clearly speaking about people coming into the Church, and people LEAVING THE CHURCH. (Building)

Incidentally, there is no such thing, as someone entering the body of Christ, and then being removed from the Body of Christ.

The body is already seated in heavenly places in Christ from before the foundation of the world with every member predestined based on foreknowledge.

No scripture teaches any such doctrine.

So there is NO DOCTRINE found in the Bible that suggests that a member who was in the Body of Christ, could either leave, or be removed.

If Paul Washer was talking about people leaving the "BODY OF CHRIST", there is NO BACK DOOR from that celestial Body.

And he would be wrong.

If Paul Washer was talking about people leaving the church building, there is A BACK DOOR but then 1Cor3:13-15, and Mat 18:20 refutes his claims.

And he would still be wrong.

True Born Again Christians can never lose their salvation. Paul Washer is a false teacher by saying that the blood of Jesus is not enough.  We must show works. If that is the case, then why did Jesus die?

Showing works can be deceptive because Mormons, Catholics, etc also do works. Paul Washer would think they are saved?

Only God knows are heart. Paul is wrong by saying that we need to understand our salvation. Jesus never said that. We are to trust!!

Paul Washer teaches that we are saved by faith alone in Jesus Christ, but that when one is saved, a process called "hagiasmos" or sancification begins.

True Christians are not legalistic like Mormons, Catholics, etc., but they have genuine love for God and His laws. The doctrine of assurance is all over the New Testament.

Read: 1 John 1:6; James 2:20; Matthew 7:16; 2 Corinthians 13:5; 2 Corinthians 5:17.

Salvation is a supernatural experience, and I can tell you firsthand that what I used to do, and the desires I once had are gone, and replaced with a love and fear for God and to do His will.
