CPAC is apparently an untra conservative gathering. According to MSNBC (they're biased, I know) only 4% of the people at CPAC approve of Obama. - The GOP is the minority party
- They aren't by any means consensual representatives of the GOP. There is a struggle in the GOP right now, and many of its leading figures didn't even show up for CPAC.
The outcome of this struggle will define the future of the GOP. If the extremists take over, the party will lose a great deal of support for the next years.
