@KyasuriinBabiiDoll It depends on their contract... my husband's is a 4 year contract and when he gets out, he'll have deployed twice. I've heard of guys getting deployed 3 times in 4 years but that's pretty outrageous. Typically, the deployments are 7 months long.
@fdgegtgy222 I have a brother who is in the Army and he's being deployed to Kuwait in February for a year, and my husband just left again for Afghanistan, so I definitely understand. I think any amount of time is bad when you go long periods of time not knowing if someone you love is actually alive. It's heartbreaking.
OMG jealous! i hope my guy does that when he comes back.. i have to wait a year for him to come see me :( i hope he feels the same way .....sigh..so happy for you guys!
