Yours is made for Baja and mine for trails and work. I've seen one of those raptors on the trail. He took the bypasses, stopped and took pics of my truck going up obstacles. I'd love to see a raptor take the same line as in this vid. You'd take damage! Better learn the limitations of IFS!

O and the Raptor does have lockers, even have it in the transfer case if I am not mistaken! Some people do not understand the difference of building a rock crawler from a dersert runner, to a mud truck!
@bombardier420 I thought it has one in the transfer case also? Supposed to work with the hill decent or something to help put positive traction to where you need while decending to keep it straight, and from fliping!
@sfyamaha21 I havn't heard of that, but that doesn't mean it isn't so. I just know that it doesn't have a front locker. That's not a slam on the raptor, either....it doesn't need it. It'd probably just bind up the steering anyways.
The raptor is a very nice truck, the guy taking the bypass probably isn't experienced enough. I run an import (Dodge Raider) and that thing is IFS front and I outdo Jeeps left and right. Its all about the driver skills vs vehicles ability or limitations. Very rarely can a vehicle make up for a driver who doesn't know what he is doing.
Also, I would prefer an old school/real power wagon, I wouldn't be afraid of breaking it or scratching its paint.

Raptor is meant for Dunes. It doesnt have the Sway Bar disconnect. I love my 07 Power Wagon, my 02 Ram 5.9 Mag, and the newest edition to my recently traded in PSD, my 06 Ram 2500 5.9L Cummins

@camraguy93 in the mountains? those trails are getting shut down constantly, they are only open this month to that month, you need permits, passes, and other crap just to stay legal there. most of the wheeling here is desert stuff.

@camraguy93 ive been to big bear and pinnacles on dirtbikes, i spend most of my time at johnson valley and el mirage, but the Raptor so far (its been an off year since getting it) mostly does stoddard wells(barstow) to primm, been around the CORR track, and back the next day. you should check out fordraptorforum dot com and plan a trip out with some Raptors, we all love different types of trucks. Im there as BentToast. there are also tons of pics of Raptors gettin dirty.
@EatmyDust1311 im not really not much of a ford guy to be honest, but the raptor does impress me being an out of the box pre runner, something no one has done. im not really much of a go fast guy, but more towards trail runs and technical stuff, like this power wagon is doing. i also dont even have a truck, i have a Jeep Cherokee, so im on NAXJA and can plan runs with my fellow XJ owners. im only interested in dodge trucks because i grew up wheeling stock dodge CTDs with my dad.
@camraguy93 im more of a dirtbike guy that always rides in the desert kind of "Dust To Glory" style(not a racer), the Raptor is just as fun as you can get for a day or two trip. Powerwagons and Jeeps are fun too, but I dont like relying on a spotter to tell me where to place each wheel. also there is nothing that comes close to cresting a jump at 80+ mph catching a few feet below the drooping tires
GREAT VIDEO! Power Wagon's are easily my favorite truck, we'll have to go to Uwharrie when I get the Rock Sliders on my Range. I did much better my last time out, plus I got a winch which will help, I got to use it last time to pull out a 4 Runner that was following me

Both are off road trucks, the Dodge has real life capabilities, the Raptor has Baja abilities which no one does Baja....No one lives in the desert, and plus if you did Baja you'd get creamed if you ever tried to compete with only 320 horsepower triton V8, I think the 6.2 finally came out 2011, but still only has the same rwhp as the 09 HEMI, ok cool......so Raptor in real life situations that are common everywhere...forests....off roading anywhere....PowerWagon*

@EatmyDust1311 How bout the Raptor haulin 1900 lbs in the box. Two different trucks. The Raptor is a toy, and a nice toy, but it is a toy. (5,4L 1020lbs 6.2L 930lbs)

@EatmyDust1311 I know, but your the one who said " i wanna see that wagon jump in the air and take whoops at 80mph" I need a truck that will haul more than 2 people and two bikes without a trailer (ie: sled deck + quads). If I had that much money to spend on a toy I would get a Drakart Tornado. I need a roll cage.

@camraguy93 in the mountains? those trails are getting shut down constantly, they are only open this month to that month, you need permits, passes, and other crap just to stay legal there. most of the wheeling here is desert stuff.

@camraguy93 ive been to big bear and pinnacles on dirtbikes, i spend most of my time at johnson valley and el mirage, but the Raptor so far (its been an off year since getting it) mostly does stoddard wells(barstow) to primm, been around the CORR track, and back the next day. you should check out fordraptorforum dot com and plan a trip out with some Raptors, we all love different types of trucks. Im there as BentToast. there are also tons of pics of Raptors gettin dirty.

@EatmyDust1311 im not really not much of a ford guy to be honest, but the raptor does impress me being an out of the box pre runner, something no one has done. im not really much of a go fast guy, but more towards trail runs and technical stuff, like this power wagon is doing. i also dont even have a truck, i have a Jeep Cherokee, so im on NAXJA and can plan runs with my fellow XJ owners. im only interested in dodge trucks because i grew up wheeling stock dodge CTDs with my dad.

@camraguy93 im more of a dirtbike guy that always rides in the desert kind of "Dust To Glory" style(not a racer), the Raptor is just as fun as you can get for a day or two trip. Powerwagons and Jeeps are fun too, but I dont like relying on a spotter to tell me where to place each wheel. also there is nothing that comes close to cresting a jump at 80+ mph catching a few feet below the drooping tires

GREAT VIDEO! Power Wagon's are easily my favorite truck, we'll have to go to Uwharrie when I get the Rock Sliders on my Range. I did much better my last time out, plus I got a winch which will help, I got to use it last time to pull out a 4 Runner that was following me

nawh looks like he's got aftermarket rims and bigger tires, maybe even a lift. oh and the bumper is also aftermarket. usually the winch is hiddin in the bumper....
