  • i wish i had this tab...i wanna learn how to play it o.o

  • the 70% of the riffs are from Havok

  • now let's kick some alien ass

  • you should have the RSE(Realistic Sound Engine)...it will sound way better..It's real sounds, no midi..

  • guitar pro sucks so gdm hard i was working on a song for hours and then, suddenly:

currpted memory or soemthing fuck this program

  • @funfreak24 lol yeah that has happened to me so many times. FAAAAAAAARK

  • simple awesome

  • how did you upload this?

  • u must of been pretty bored lol great song

  • This is amazing man,so good.If you record this song on the electric guitar you ll`be really a genius.(sorry for the bad inglish xD)

  • Pretty good composition : ), I like the ending : D, check out my attempt in GP6 - it might not be your cup of tea but hey : P ... /watch?v=vbAomv-DnwA

  • what kind of guitars are you using?! Overfdriven? Distorsion? sounds brutal!!

  • e con la chitarra la sai riprodurre??

  • awesome, if I were you I will no put this song on the net because maybe a person con copy the song

  • how did you get your rse to sound so good?!

  • i just downloaded the rse pack for gp5 and turned rse on and played my thrash song but the palm muting sound horrible. is there a way to adjust it?

  • awesome song! thrash til deth! iv got a thrash song on gp5 but the sound qualtiy is no where as good as this! did you download some special soundbank or something? i want my palm muting to sound like this! cheers

  • @jimmy56100 hey thanks heaps for watching! nah i havent downloaded anything extra. this is stock standard guitar pro 5.0. The only reason the palm muting sounds good is because i have two electric overdriven guitars (RSE) panned full left and right, and whenever im doing palm muted chugg-ish riff, i just make 3 note power chords with all 3 notes palm muted. this way the palm mutes sound a lot fuller with the extra 5th and octave thrown in.

  • @underscoreisnotvalid ah cool thanks mate

  • Hello! I am an amateur musician and I would like you to take a look at some of my work and give me pros and cons. It would be great help for me. Thank you in advance

  • cooool song!!!

  • @nicomegadeth1 thanks mate :)

  • im probably missing something really obvious but bare with me...what are you using for the guitars, is it a voice on guitar pro or is it real guitars? if its just guitar pro then how do i get that sound because its awesome!

  • @kosha11 thanks bud, its ALL guitar pro sounds. 2x RSE electric guitars, MIDI bass and drums. Also, remember this is on gp5.0 which is the only one in my opinion with decent RSE guitar tones.

  • Oh my god! your song is fucking cool! Very good job! Metal Rules!

Come to check the videos of my own "guitar pro 6" song!

    Great video again!

    Friendly D.K

  • how do i add drums to my guitar pro 5 riff?

  • @DescentFromHeaven you just go to TRACK > ADD > percussion 'true' and you're done ;)

  • best guitar pro song ever!

  • I make gp5 compo but i dont know how to put in on youtube . can you help me someone?

  • is there a way to tune the guitar on guitar pro 5? like say i wanted to go open D sharp but I can never get it to tune, it's always been standard E. i just wander if its even possible to change tunes. please help me out, im pretty new to it.

  • @cmsasuke17 hey thanks for watching, yeah you can tune the guitar in infinite different ways in gp5. just double click on the guitar or bass track down the bottom left of the screen and a tuning menu will come up where you can simply change each individual string on the guitar to however you want, or there are presets of the common tunings like drop d, 7 string tuning, E flat drop c etc. hope this helps. if not let me know :)

  • @underscoreisnotvalid

ooooh ok, i got it now, thanks bro!

  • nice...you mean that pokemon sounds like megadeth?

  • soundtrack for a tetris game xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD sorry for my english xD

  • sounds great why dont you do it on real instruments?

  • how did you get the drums in this song

  • chafe

  • Cool track's M8 - check out my one, I've just done my first track in guitar pro 5. Comments are welcome :) type; Guitar Pro 5 Hardcore Mosh Track - Made In Madness

  • Hey if your into progressive metalcore, check out my guitar pro compositions on my page. I guarantee you'll love em. BTW nice song

  • yo ta mero lado jastai rahecha......baru yo bhanda ta mero ladai chus na randi ko ban machikne lado kha.......nice bt mero lado jasto ..hehehe.....:D

  • tHE SONG IS VERY GOOD, BUT IT COULD BE BETTER WITH THE REAL RSE.

  • How do you put in drums? I know how to pick the kit, but I can't get the individual sounds to play. I already have the guitar parts and bass parts written for my song. Just need the drums.

  • Cool song but it sounds pretty lame in midi /rse :/

  • @00NeVaN00 well it sounds even lamer in all RSE

  • this is sweet lol

  • Thats great! Do you have guitar pro 6?

  • Man ! ! You should use the RSE !!!!

  • @seraphimist Are you dumb? This is RSE!!!

  • @drummerbf

    NO WAY this is RSE,

I using this program for a long time, and my RSE is better in 100 times.

I am sorry, but it sounds like midi.

  • Comment removed

  • @seraphimist @seraphimist The Distorion Guitar is definetily RSE, the bass and drums are midi but RSE drums suck so i am happy that he didn't use RSE drums... just look at his comment above, he already wrote it

  • YOU ARE A FUCKING GUITAR PRO-PRO! xD this is awesome! ^^

  • awesome )

  • Great, friend!!

  • What are the volume levels and the pan for this?

    Great song btw.

  • @IIEnlightenedII thanks :)

    for memory the tracks are:

RSE electric guitar 1 - Panned at 100% Left, and volume level of 7 or so...

RSE electric guitar 2 - Panned at 100% Right, and volume level or 7 or so also...

MIDI electric bass (pick) - Panned at 0% (centre) at max volume

MIDI drums - Panned at 0% (centre) at max volume

(but i also automated the guitars with F10 (mix menu or whatever) throughout the song to change and adapt the levels so that they aren't too soft or loud in certain riffs)

  • @IIEnlightenedII ill also mention that this is with guitar pro 5.0 on windows xp. Im sure your sound card would make a little difference in the sound and how it handles MIDI and RSE. Also in your computers volume properties, you might need to change the MIDI level. I also have another comp with windows 7 with guitar pro 5.0 but i think i have a crappy sound card or something because the son of a bitch has the MIDI and RSE delayed, so it sounds horrible, unless i use all MIDI tracks or all RSE.

  • @underscoreisnotvalid cool, thanks :D

  • Way to go man!

  • i have guitar pro 6 ahahhaha

  • stick to guitar pro 5.0 on windows XP its the only descent version....

  • @infectionsman i agree 100%

  • @infectionsman

My 5.2 version works fine for me

  • @Destivesvin Yes, but the RSE instruments are tinny and frankly outright awful compared to the perfectly-balanced ones in 5.0. And 5.0 is basically bug free compared to 5.2

  • @infectionsman

You are right about the RSE but I don't get more errors than when I had version 5.0.

  • @Destivesvin I tried 5.2 on several different computers with vista, might be because of that

  • @infectionsman

Yea maybe.. I got XP so maybe it's that

  • @Destivesvin yep

  • @infectionsman What is wrong with guitar pro 6 or guitar pro 4 in your opinion? I like guitar pro 5 and I purchased it, why shouldn't I upgrade?

  • @SINBrutal99 Hey! Have tried them all, and can safely say 5.0 is the way to go. 5.2 has 2 main issues, it crashes a lot with vista, the RSE instruments sound tinny and are poorly balanced. Also for 5.0, all new guitar pro files on the internet need to be opened in 5.2 and then converted to guitar pro 5.0 if yo want to use them in the 5.0 program. You can just pirate them off a torrent site and try em out... As for 6.0 its a new program and it handles older files terribly, bends loose timing etc

  • @infectionsman thanks for the reply and your input. I guess I will just stick with guitar pro v 5.2 that's the only version I was able to buy on their website.

  • this one sounds more like progressive than thrash

  • Wow, this is rad bro. I like it a ton. Damn good composistion. I posted 2 vid responses to this one, so if you watch, I hope you enjoy. :)

Do you have lyrics to this one/do you play in a band?

  • @ThrashTillYouCrash hey thank you very much :) and nah i dont have lyrics to it. i only write stuff on guitar pro with the intention of being instrumental. i play drums in a band. its like groove/funk metal, very different to most of my guitar pro stuff

  • @underscoreisnotvalid Thank you for the comment/view. :)

Ever play your gp stuff in your band just for fun?

  • how did u convert it to mp3 (or watever format that is)?

  • Not Bad :) Could Be better

  • wow...you wrote all this?

  • muy melodico dedicate al melodic death

  • 00:54 sound VERY realistic for MIDI. I was thinking i was listening to a real song sometimes :D

  • nice thrash man! i like ur composition nice i hope u can play it 2! heheh

  • Awesome composition :P .. by the way.. i also wanna upload some of my work.. but i don't know how D: .. could you tell me what program do you use and stuff ? D:

  • si pero si la tocas normal con una guitarra !

esta buena la canción pero hace un video donde estes tocando la cancion

  • Wow, nice one dude!

  • how did u get the RSE guitars to line up with the midi drums?? mine is ALWAYS off

  • is there any chance of me obtaining this tab? it sounds pretty fun to play on guitar...before you flip out, i WILL give you credit before i post it on youtube or anything lol...

  • @GuitaRDudE6722 a song i wrote on GP, and then recorded with actual guitars, btw...

    /watch?v=IavtMlE0lbg

  • Sounds like pokemon battle theme song after 30 sec

  • Comment removed

  • Cool! but i have a question

When I use RSE guitars and MIDI drums, they aren't equal. You hear the guitars and like a half second later you hear the drums (i'm trying to say that the RSE and MIDI sounds aren't equal).

I hate the RSE drums, the MIDI drums are really cool! on my old computer it just worked but on this one and on every other comp i've ever tried it, all the same problem

    PLZ HELP!

  • @Rabje1234 yeah i have the exact same issue!!! thats whats stopping me with gp5 stuff lately. on my old comp on windows xp it worked fine, but now on my new windows 7 computer the RSE has a delay that i cant turn off in any of the options or anything. I feel your pain buddy. I think its something to do with the sound card and how some play MIDI and RSE together and some play them at different times (one second delay etc.)

  • @underscoreisnotvalid

lol yeah, my old comp was XP too and this one is 7

I still make stuff cuz it's just fun but i'm always hating the drums x'D

I'm wondering if GP6 has the same problems... I want it so much, but I downloaded GP5 and I can't make a downloaded GP6 working....

    did you buy it?

  • @Rabje1234 yeah same here!

im still making compositions on my new computer but im just doing it all MIDI. the guitars sound dodgy but i definitely prefer all MIDI over all RSE, cos RSE drums sound horrid. As for gp6, I downloaded the free demo & personally I don't like it. I had high hopes for it, but overall I think theyve spent too much time on the effects & guitar tone settings & other than that, pretty lame. I still prefer gp5! & in gp6 you cant use MIDI & RSE simultaneously AT ALL! it sucks

  • @Rabje1234

    try acoustica beatcraft

  • I hear some Lamb of God and Megadeth. ))))) Nice song, dude! Keep up keeping up.

  • cool man! crazy progression.

  • Nice.And Is There A Way To Convert .gp5 files into mp3?

  • @moomoopikachu yeah there is, download a program called switchsound file converter and export the gp5 file as a WAV file but only if you're using RSE, if your using midi export it as a midi file and make sure that your computer is set to record either WAV or MIDI (im using XP so im not sure what you need to do with vista or 7 or Mac).

P.s I've put a couple of videos up myself, they're metal and all sorts so check em out :)

  • @moomoopikachu unlike qwerty, i use Audacity (which needs LAME btw, look it up and download that before exporting)...but basically its the same: export RSE tabs as a WAV file, then open the WAV in Audacity, and then just export it as an mp3

  • I dont know what you're listening to that you call that thrash, but other than technical indifferences it was alright

  • My original GP5 Song with real instruments!

    /watch?v=MVBy0BSXJcM

  • yea dude this isnt thrash metal, its more like metallica :/

if you want thrash metal, try megadeth

  • @skeleton0578 Metallica is part of the "Big 4"of Thrash Metal bands dumbass. Although I do agree Megadeth is heavier and better imo

  • @jjjmanyo no shit sherlock, just because there apart of it doesnt make it a whole thrash metal band, i mean really metallica isnt that heavy they started to go down after ther fourth album

  • @skeleton0578 Wow, way to take things personally. I was pointing out that Metallica is (was) a thrash metal band. You don't have to try to defend your comment. It's YOUTUBE!

  • @jjjmanyo then why do you comment back it you didnt want to defend it, moron

  • @skeleton0578 I defended absolutely nothing. I stated a point and you interpreted it wrong. I'm continuing to post because it amuses me how worked up you get over comments.

  • @jjjmanyo well if you defending nothing why do you comment back its that simple

  • Did you not read the last sentence of my last post? Looks like someone needs to go back to Grade 1...

  • @jjjmanyo its really the same thing when proving a point and defending it

theres only minor differences and there is no grade one just pre-school,moron

  • i like how slayer always sounds like music from Doom

  • @chainsawmaniac08 actually the main music composer of Doom (especially the first one) says that he took mainly metallica songs as influence for the soundtrack...he mightve also had some slayer riffs thrown in too

  • It actually IS thrash. I mean , this looks a lot like Metallica, Megadeth and Anthrax. And who are in the big four of thrash? Right.

  • Sounds F'cking good :D Rock on

  • sounds good! you shoud get Guitar Pro 6 so you can add some cool effects and stuff:)

  • @mas111 thanks bud :) will do soon hopefully!!

  • hmmm... I can hear some infuences from Dream Theater and Testament's souls of black... some Metallica sounds too (not too much though :P).... oh and a tiny bit of Megadeth... maybe Anthrax and Exodus too? anyway... there are some things that I can't point my finger on...

sounds nice man! keep up the good job! I'm thinking of uploading my own songs too...

  • es HAVOK!??

  • you should honestly consider sending the notation to some band cuz this shits awesome

  • Sounds Megadeth

  • @TrueFineReptile Dave Mustaine sent out Gyarados!

  • Nice ! :)

Someone riff with real guitar will be great :)

  • this reminds me of dream theatre

  • it sounds really good, good work ;) , i've uploaded a gp5 song, if you want to have a look

  • Mate, the solo is awesome :D

  • how do you record the song??

    sorry i'm italian xDxD

  • nice

  • can someone say me some bands who sounds like that?

  • hey sounds good, but how did you record the audio to be able to upload it to youtube?

    thanks.

  • i think i hear some iron maiden in there in a couple places....btw very nice job this must've taken you forever

  • Damn that's awesome! :)

  • @nazworkshop thanks bud :)

  • cool i composed a guitar pro song too but i dont use rse

  • Cool man you can make some cool albums lol

  • wow

  • this is fuckin sick

  • did you pass this in drum kit from hell?because the drums sound a bit shitty...

  • GP6 is a great learning tool ... but listning to it is the ultimate lameness. I have the program and it's great for what it's intended for!!!

Now export this song as a MIDI file and record this into a proper program ... The song and notes are very nice!

  • Hey what settings are you using with your RSE to get the guitar to sound like that? Sounds really good ( For RSE and all that)

  • @n3m3s1s360 just plain overdriven guitar :)

  • Hey what settings are you using with your RSE to get the guitar to sound like that? Sounds really good ( For RSE and all that)

  • "Thrash"? Do you mean "Nu" ?

  • main riff kicks major ass!

  • damn good, dude! gimme that gtp file!!

  • how the fuck do you record guitar onto guitar pro!!!!!!!!!!!! all i wanna do is play the fucking guitar and have it recorded somehow!!!!! how do you do this on guitar pro or cubase ANYONE!!!!

  • @lespaullover13 you cant record guitar on guitar pro, this program is strictly a MIDI and RSE music composition program through notation and tablature. if you wanna record stuff get protools or something :)

  • @lespaullover13 well you ould downlaod a mp3 to midi coverter record ur self playing than import the midi into guitar pro but it may be off

  • can you actyually create drum beats on this program?

  • yes can :)

  • Yeah but its not the best.

  • yes.

  • :o!!awesome thing!!

  • this program kicks ass!

I finally uploaded a quick tut of how to download Guitar Pro 5.2 completely FREE (with complete RSE packs)

so if you are interested in working with this software check out my vid. oh and nice arrangements :P

    watch?v=kFbMpc6MT6I

  • Damn this is good.

  • Класс!))

  • Bravo

  • could i get the drums for this? i need a drum track for a song i'm writing, and the drums for this sound good. i won't rip it off, just need to see the beat, when i'm done with the album it goes on, we'll send you a copy it, free of charges

  • can you send me this?? and if you want i have loads of heavy rock/ metal you can have..

  • A lot of this song sounds ripped off from Havok - The Root of Evil

  • haha youre right there dude :)

  • @Hatebreed987 the first riff is almost exactly the same, man i love havok

  • that's awesome..can u show me pls..

  • hell this is good

at 0:54 there is something of the broken, beat and scared riff at the very end of the song

  • muy buename gusta :)

  • Whoa, I LOVE the drums in this song :3 You remind me of our drummer xD

Nice going man ^-^ Keep it up!

  • congratulations!! that's some serious old school prog metal shit! and i'm really picky when it comes to music, but i would've used the RSE bass sound, which is the most realistic in my opinion.

I've also noticed names like metallica and slayer on the tags. You should try some bands like Watchtower and Atheist for inspiration instead -P

  • thanks! yeah the RSE bass is more realistic but i just prefer the MIDI bass because it is much clearer and less cluttered, especially with speed picking, so that it just just sound like a monotonous rumble under the guitars and drums :) and yeah i have got into atheist quite a bit, moreso than watchtower, but yeah, they are sick bands

  • Comment removed

  • you experimented a little too much with the drums in some parts

  • thanks bud, constructive criticism is welcomed :)

i play the drums, so i agree, it is a bit over the top in parts, lol. but usually when i write, i start with the drum and bass groove and then do the guitars later. so its very much a drum and bass focused song

  • This is not Thrash at all

  • yeah its more progressive with thrash influence

  • how do you record your music with such good quality? i'm having trouble recording with good quality. help?
