  • THOSE AIRPLANES STILL TRICKLING BLOOD FROM THEIR WINGS OF ALL THE INOCENT PEOPLE THEY SLAUGHTERED BUT THE WEIGHT OF HISTRORY SHALL SMASH THE LITTLE UK ISLAND AND SEND IT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE OCEAN!

  • PRT 2

carriers if they could divert to some land

  • Ok at 1:12 they are sea harriers aparently they have never ever lost a dog fight, but, but, this is big one, (that was a joke) the RAF uses or should i say uesd GR 3' GR 7's and GR9's. they are all air to ground bombers. but sea harriers as i have said they are dog fghters and they were more menoveribale and slightly faster they can carry missiles and their pilots would fly 2000 odd miles off the coast of europe or america or were ever and land unlike the RAF how would only fly off our

  • CAMERON AND OSBORNE SENT AT HOME 50000 BRITTISH SOLDIERS TO FIND AN HONEST WORK.

AFTER THE SCAPED OF THE LARGHEST PART OF ROYAL NAVY, NOW ONLY 12 OLD BATTLE SHIPS ON SERVICE, AFTER THE CLOSED OF ROYAL NAVY RAF, NOW CAMERON HAS DELETED THE HELICOPTERS RESCUE SERVICE OF RAF.

  • The Harrier was never a good aircraft really. It was designed during the Cold War, for use after all our runways got bombed, but nothing would have been left if that had ever kicked off anyway. They did make carrier flying cheaper but they were slow. I guess nostalgists will argue with me but compare a Harrier with a Typhoon.

  • @corblimeymr

Try to remember that Harriers performed exceptionally well when it really mattered (in the Falklands)

  • @ToonandBBfan that is true

  • @corblimeymr Maybe to some its not about what the Harrier was but what losing them represent.

To me the millitary should be the LAST place to make cuts. Did you see recantly about the russian naval fleet just outside uk waters? Now imagine if there intensions were bad. We only had HMS york to send to see what was going on. A russian fleet would of sank her within seconds. Hardly any air support eigher. If anything we need to invest more in armed forces. Because you just never know.

  • What a stupid government we have, the harrier is still an awesome plane with many years of service left in it....bloody defence cuts av left us with no carriers & no planes for 10 years...ridiculous

  • England once a proud naval country now an economic shit hole :D military has gone to shit..only thing saving it now is canada and Australia ofcourse they are still the queens bitchs :D good thing my countries nice n rich :D

  • Such a shame! Reliable and a true icon! What will replace them? Some shitty american plane? HELL NO IF I WOULD SAY SO!! Greetings from Russia!

  • Italians have just lanced the new carrier Cavour with inside 20 iMcDonnell Douglas-BAe AV-8B Harrier II and 4 more carriers are in building for the new F35 will be built in italy

UK hasn't no more carrier with airplane, the HMS Queen Elizabeth project was deleted due the crisis

  • This news is Disappointing. I am pakistani but this plane was my dream plane. The only Mature VTOL platform is retired now. This aircraft have no match in beauty and VTOL performance

  • Why not sold those Harriers to Chinese

  • I disliked this video purley because we have lost a british icon and also as a child i wanted to fly this aircraft from a young child :(

  • What bothers me is, the Harrier is a British invention, a grand one and an icon. Now we're waving it goodbye and yet, the US Marine Corps still uses them.

Why not keep such a brilliant plane?

  • @SgtShnackendale I can't help but to agree with you.

  • @SgtShnackendale Not only that but you'll eventually be replacing them with an American aircraft

  • The Dominican Republic is looking to upgrade its navy with a French Build LPD, you can sell them to them.

  • This is very sad

  • Brits gonna replace them with the A6M Zero.

  • Ok, first the Aussies replace their 37 year old aircraft with a 20 year old one..now the Brits have replaced their aircraft...with one that doesnt exist yet (F-35)...what is it with commonwealth nations failing at having an airforce?

  • @DaytonaRoadster Aussies have replaced there aging F111 with new Super Hornets until we get the new F-35, But its a very bad move retiring the Harrier and very sad.

  • What are these poor guys supposed to fly in the meantime? Desks?

  • @lst1195 thinking the same thing, i think the Uk Government will use this as an excuse to just not buy any aircraft.

  • If your not using them, can I have one ??

  • @rickbar123 Its hard to control harrier,i mean very hard...

  • What is the replacement ?

  • @showaltermicro F35's which come into service around 2013

  • @dr fan2004 I am a 25 year out of date Army guy. I forgot about the JSF. Thank you.

  • @showaltermicro The F35 Joint Strike Fighter is the planned replacement but not due in service till 2019 at the earliest, and thats if there are no more delays in its development, so nothing in service for at least 8 years which means the Royal Navy is unable to provide its own air cover, therefore reliant on land based air or US Navy aircraft.
