now does anyone know which lowering springs he used in the front?? i want to drop mine, which is the same ride you see here, the exact way he dropped his.
i looks very nice but i like the extrat clean engine bay look ,u should of ran the battey and outher stuff to the trunk and ran the wireing harness throw the fram i am doing my torino like that
yep sure is Red Jack! :) and it is a very nice example, and the updated interior is nice, i am a purest, but it don't look half bad, and it matches the paint quite well, even the rims fit the car, i often see non period modern huge rims, and i just shake my head, retro rims just have to go on classic rides, no way around that! :) and thanks for the comment Jack :)
your correct, the color match is great, i was looking at my door panels and roof headliner, from what i can see the red doesn't match right on, neither does the bench seat, ah well, i plan on re-doing the bench seat down the road, then i can work on a better matching red,and possibly paint the door panels, i know there is tons of prep work with the plastic door panels, but for now i will just put them in, the color is off, but not that off, once i get things together i will update in the next week
nope the '67 Comet was based off the Ford Fairlane, the Comet moved up from the compact Falcon base in '66 to the mid-sized Fairlane, so only the 60-65 Comets where based on the Falcon, except the comet sedans where stretched 5" longer than a Falcon the wagons where the same length, and its too bad you didn't hold on to it and respect it, also 97mph seems fast enough for me! :) if my truck does 100mph i would be smiling, lol besides 55-70 miles a hour is about as fast as you can go in the U.S.
yeah but you forget i have a '77 F-150 4x4, you don't really want to be going over 100 mph, well i bet i could with the 4 speed auto, all i know is i think the 70s gauge limits my truck to 80mph, i got a 78 gauge so i can have KM per hour, since that's what we use up here in Canada! but i do have the older 80mph and the 100mph gauge with miles only, i will keep those just for parts, also on my 78 gauge it has miles in small which is nice, but really 100mph is illegal, when the cops are looking
King Richard & The Bandit, as Heroes & Driving Instructors. My causin, Mostly tought me. Dad tried! We just butted heads alot? Bad enough, on the comet. Parents never should have let me use The Fire Bird (77) It went Faster.
thanks for the comment, and what year of Impala do you have? i have a earlier video of a 1970 Impala low rider, with some fancy red paint, you should check it out, i also have a number of other car videos that you can check out, so thanks for stopping by,
thanks for watching and rating and commenting, and i agree this is a very nice HOT ROD FALCON! :) and at least the wheels are tasteful along with appealing mods, not some big 22" spinners, basically i like old school style on old school rides, period is the best, its the modern rims that often look like crap, unless there not super huge and have a retro style too them, but i think 18" rims are about as big as you can go on a old school ride, also i am huge fan of RWL or OWL tires or white walls

My 1st car, was a 67 comet.
Similer to The Falcon?
Except had a 289, that was a ,slow dog.
97mph. was top speed.
3 speed on the colum. 8track &am radio with a , fm converter.
Kinda wish, i'd have respected it more now. It actually was a decent car.

So True! On all counts.
I should have stayed with the moped.
For a While Longer! Say, 1-3 more years.
