@nutnfancy I know LWRC uses Nitriding on alot of their rifles. I'm curious if you have ever discussed Nitriding vs Hard Chrome in their barrels. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts on it too. It especially makes sense for Semi Auto rifles with the huge gains in corrosion resistance, friction reduction and accuracy. Thanks dude

It would be sort of interesting which vendors ended up on the cutting room floor. You made me re-think my choice on getting the CZ duty pistol in 40 s&w. Great video, but LWRC is to expensive when there are alternatives that are way cheaper that perform just as well. 2g for a basic m4 patrolman's rifle is insane. I would put a Bushmaster for 893$ against anyone else's entry, that's where the buck top's off for me after that it seems people are just paying for name.

You know the army keeps wanting to go with some new standard rifle but true to how diverse people are you need a lot of different rifles for all the different jobs due to job requirements etc... So might as well just let the units individually decide but have the whole army stay within one carbine/rifle/pistol caliber.

Love the looks but price? I have no problems paying $2600 for a great rifle. The fancy spiral cut flute barrel for "cooling" is minimal since the surface area is minimally increased. That's cost for little return, I guess could be the second kind of cool. For weight, less than half pound doesn't justify it. Monolithic uppers have been done. Ambi controls is a training issue not justification for the cost. I would take a Genuine Colt M4 DI gun for $1400 over this any day. Just not worth the price

@JERMBUGS Because it was a lost cause. The military procurement process is horrible for more innovative but smaller companies. Their reason for not meeting the requirements was the manufacturing capacity needed before you can even submit it. So you basically have to have a bunch of unused manufacturing space to submit an item. It sucks but it ended up being a REALLY nice rifle for us. I love my LWRCIs and look forward to buying more down the road.

Granted the REPR is a nice gun, I still cant jive with the AR-10 design having the FAL charging handle. I think it would look alot better with the standard charging handle and forward assist.

If you say LWRC is better than Noveske that you deserve to be slapped for your ignorance. The spiral rifling LWRC does on their barrels is for show and I do not believe it removes 4 ounces. The booth review was great I'm just not a fan of these over priced AR's.

Wow Obama's economic policies must be working miracles out there in the public sector if folks are buying 2600.00 dollar AR15's.... Cause AR's certainly arent flying off the shelves over at Gunbroker..Or in local classifieds..Or in the pawnshops..ect.. In fact ive never seen such a glut of AR15's for sale...The only ones that move are those priced for the over saturated market.. OK i dont get it.... If you go on any of the online gun auction sites there is just an insane glut of AR15's on the market right now...... Just crazy amounts of new and barely used guns for sale..... Ive seen new Rock River Arms mid length gas guns selling for 850.00 on GB... Economy must be bangin out in the West...Gov..Public & Mil Employee's seem to have it pretty cush... But for those in the private sector its freakin lean times out there... I amazed these companies can find enough sales.

What a small world!! AJ sold me my Stag AR and personally painted the EOTech and Mako that we used in the All Stars shoot!
