I haven't watched any saw movies, and I freely admit I don't wanna because of obvious reasons. but in the few traps Ihave seen, doen't the jigsaw guy let him attempt to get out?

He couldn't have drank the water fast enough, dumbasses. There was more than enough water to fill it up, so in the time Strahm actually drinks the water, more will come in and replace it. He'll lose energy because he can't breathe, then die. Fucking idiots. Don't you think that Hoffman would have thought of that? Also, Strahm could have thought that the water wasn't good to drink, so he didn't. Either way, drinking the water wouldn't have done much for him, even if he did there would be more

I'ts too hard to break or make a hole, but when the time goes and the water gets higher and you're into the water you getting weaker by the time. I don't think you think so fast when you're in a trap like him. You only had got panick and did the same thing as him. So drinking water could help him if he did it!

If you guys haven't noticed, he can still move his arms. All he'd need to of done was break the glass. Simple? Kinda. He would of had to near enough drown himself in the water, as the water would slow down the shards of glass and reduce the force of impact, only giving himself abrasions. Unless, of course, he punches too hard and knocks himself out :D

no such thing as water intoxication, that suggest it is toxic, he would die by osmotic potential causing water to make the brain swell, essentially he would drown, either that or he would inhale water due to the gag reflex stopping him swallowing it and automatically breathing, in which case he would literally drown

Actually, you can breath through your neck. Ever seen those smokers with the hole in their neck? Same basic principle.

It's called a tracheostomy. some smokers have gotten them due to throat cancer, tumors making it hard to breathe through mouth or nose, an incision is made through the windpipe to breathe. Strahm must've had some sort of medical training in his background.
