I rather draft a defensive lineman than a offensive lineman because defense wins championships. and defensive lineman is more important than offensive
@89Ryanhoward u dont give ur qb protection u cant score points, doesnt matter how great ur defense is if ur offense cant score, u need a great O-line to protect ur qb and allow u to get a good running game going and have time to pass, an avg defensive line can still get by if the opposing offense sucks, obviously both are important but one good DE can open it up for everyone else, u have even one bad offensive lineman and ur qb and rb is toast in the backfield
can you believe there actually was a debate about who would be better Manning or Leaf in 1998 d raft some so called experts thought Leaf would be the better pro
Phil Simms sounds like an arrogant ass in this. Basically all he says is taller QB's are the best. This mentality is what makes teams draft people like Jamarcus Russel. I guess its a good thing Drew Brees sucks. The "it" factor exists its the guy who will continue to work hard after he gets his pay day and will actually spend learning the playbook.
@CoolerKing37 Culpepper was the best QB behind Peyton in the early 2000's, if it weren't for his knee injury he woud have went on to have continued success. His peak years were far and away better than Donovan. Aaron Brooks had some decent years in NO with some shoddy teams as wel
@alec147123 Agreed! The Chargers had to trade a future #1 pick to get Leaf and he had a worse TD/INT ratio than Russell (also, that #1 pick turned out to be WR David Boston).
@alec147123 You sounded like a moron to me. Leaving out Rick Mirer QB#3, Aundray Bruce LB #1, Robert Gallery OT #2, Leonard Davis OT #2, Gerard Warren DT #3, Courtney Brown DE #1, Andre Wadsworth DE #3, Darrell Russell DT #2, Ki-Jana Carter RB #1, Troy Williamson WR #7, David Carr QB #1, Mike Williams OT Buffalo #4, Charles Rogers WR #2, Dewayne Robertson DT #4, Justin Smith DE #4, Dan Wilkinson DT #1, Trev Alberts LB #5,
@packr72 Jamarcus is a tough case: The Raiders suck b/c they have him. He sucks b/c he's on the Raiders. Bad player + Bad Team= TV blackouts.
I think he'll get better after he's cut, signs somewhere else and gets a second go-around. Happens fairly frequently w/ young QBs. But he is a true fatass sloth, I agree
How bout Ron Dayne drafted by the Giants out of Wisconsin. Heisman trophy winner, set Big 10 and NCAA rushing records. Got to the Giants and sat on the bench his entire career. I guess that is more of a team not wanting to invest the time in a player rather than the player not living up to expectations.
The Giants didn't sit Ron Dayne, he did it to himself! Dayne was a big back, the type that should keep his feet moving and run up the middle, but everytime he got handed the ball he would stop his feet and dance around. He also struggled to keep his weight down, and often looked more like a fullback. Eventually Tiki won the starting job and Dayne was let go. Dayne never performed like a number one pick anywhere else, so it's not the Giants fault, it's Dayne's!
@ohgrx No, Dayne just sucked. No speed, no quickness. Just ran into the line and fell down on each play. I thought he was terrible in college, too, just too big to be tackled at that level. Just a trash RB in all aspects aside from size
Leaf was bust because its like what they talked about on this video. A lot of money and trades went into getting Leaf and he gave them nothing in return but a career rating of 50... So basically large investment + loss in return = Bust
It would be like investing millions on a Presidental canidate and he doesn't make it to the primary.
I dont know if i buy that. Busts always get treated diff. Some busts like leaf and russell get torched by the media, but tim coach, kijana carter, courtney brown, david carr, and alex smith all escape the criticism. I think it has to do with circumstance more than just being a bust. Being a number 1 overall has a ton of expectations that come with it regardless of hype.
honestly is russell really as bad as ppl say he is. i mean he wasnt really even hyped that much in college until end of his junior and senior year. if u watch him in college he also makes plenty of mental errors continuously which shoulda been a sign
If they due something smart and hire a new president and fire Al Davis, but can't because he's the majority owner and the franchise can't get rid off him soon. If they don't get rid of him, the fans will ask for Davis's head on a stake. The Raiders have a passionate fanbase and I feel for them. Get rid of Al Davis and Cable and put in Shanahan as head coach and hire Bill Cowher as majority owner.
why the fuck is that douchebag even putting McNabb in the same sentence as Tim Couch, Akili Smith and Cade McKnown?! Are you fuckin kidding me? "not as bad" wow fuck you analyst faggot
I hear you , but how much time will you give this guy to "grow up". He doesn't seem to be doing anything different from before. Are you gonna stick with this guy, hoping he will get better, while your organisation is falling apart. Or are you gonna give someone else a chance? I would opt for the latter.
What are you talking about, the real problem is Al Davis. He's too senile and needs to stop taking bad prospects, JaMarcus was his first real good pick in a long time, but with no help, how can JaMarcus develop, plus their 2-14 season, the defense was 3rd, the offense was last. Randy Moss can also be blamed for not helping the team due to him not really trying at all in Oakland. The Vikes and Raiders both got royally screwed in that trade. The Raiders got a lazy player, and the Vikes busts.
Sure there's some things that you cannot put on the player. In this case however, I've seen little , on or off the field that would make me think that he would perform well under better conditions. He isnt the 1st nor last QB that starts in an underperforming team. I'm not looking for him to carry the team, I'm looking for glimpses of hope...
jamarcus still has time, he can rewrite his legacy still...but he's hideously overweight and he couldn't hit an office building if he was standing in the entrance
Joe Thomas safe pick and Jamarcus the risky pick.... who would've known that Joe Thomas wud be a top 3 o-lineman and Jamarcus would be the biggest a joke to date.
meh, Leaf is a real bust though. Couch just ended up in very horrible team to begin with, Leaf was in a reasonable team. Another big bust in my mind was David Carr. You could argue that the QB class of 2002 was a deja vu of the QB class of 1999.
You know what's funny is we go on and on about QB's, primarily because they get the most press, we are told how important they are, and we are told 7/24/365. But no one here is jamming OL's, no one here has said so and so, outside of Mandrich, is a bust, and the only reason we jam on Mandrich was the press he got. Fans are a funny bunch. For the most part they don't know much about the sport, but think they do because they watch tv alot. But OL is where it all starts.
and here's the other thing bout phil simms, the stats weren't there, but everyone says "oh he was a leader, and he had a quality" Maybe the nfl owners and GM's should'veturned their TV's off when ur name came up {hil u fuckin leach!!
And Popeworshiper com'on man hes never lead the team to the playoff's
more than once are you kiddin me?
He was drafted in 2006, the Titans were 0-6 or or somthing and he took them to an 8-8 record [No playoff's that year] 2007 they went 10-6 lost to chargers in playoff's that year. This year Kerry Collins tok em to the playoff's with a 13-3
No people cant call Vince Young a draft bust but this year clearly showed he's not cut out to be a starting QB. I mean com'on He started off behind Kerry Collins then he got the Job, went 8-8 then got hurt then Kerry came along again then Vince was being a bitch and was running away
and then wanted to commit suicide haha hes not a starter he cant handle the presssure but he's not a bust he just needs better mentoring. To Bad McNair retired he could have tought Vince sooooooo much more.
Notice the guys on this list are gone in a year or less and have a handful of starts. Carr started 75 games in 5 years and played well considering they had a terrible O-line, no running game and one decent WR who was a rookie his 3rd year. No QB would have made much of a difference there. They were an expansion team, which means their roster is all toss aways from other teams and rookies. You can't blame Carr for the failings of an expansion team if you know the game.
I thought Carr would've been great, maybe he's too nice, but it was probably the bad OL and lack of ground. Hopefully sitting behind Manning (baby) will help, and I hope he gets to start for a team. I knew Reggie Bush was gonna be a bust. PAC 10 doesn't have great D. I'ts laughable that an undrafted RB shares the backfield w/him. Yet i've never heard him called a "bust", just a "disappointment." Bush isn't that good.
ok how is vince young a freakin bust r u retarted da titans didnt evean start 1 he was behind OVER RATED qb kerry collins vince young cud be good if titans give him a chance again
Agreed, and if he was good he would be starting over Collins. Young has had about the same career as Derrick Harvey has had. Who is that you ask? My point exactly.
Your forgetting the fact that Williams also had a toe injury for almost 3/4 of the season. Your also not even seeing the point I was trying to prove here, That Young Isnt a good pro, thats all im trying to say. I used Harvey as a simple example. Would you rather me use ted Ginn jr.? lol
Yep, I was at that draft and i must honestly admit I thought it was a bad pick, i thought Reggie Bush or Vince Young would be their guy, in retrospect Williams and jay Cutler would've been the two best picks, Houston got Williams. Cutler is more mature (despite his Broncos tantrum) than leinhart or Young.
one that i'd add to the list is Vince Young. i always thought of him as a product of his environment at Texas and he has fallen off after his one good rookie season in the pros. he isn't much of a pocket passer and hasn't really added on to it since. i guess we'll see once he comes back what he really has to offer.
I never said he was the best, but he HAS led the team to the playoffs more than once and the only thing keeping him from doing it again is his mental illness.
It IS a huge thing, but it's NOT the same thing as the lack of talent that keeps every other college star from succeeding in the nfl...and becoming a "bust." Even if Vince Young never plays again, he has tasted more success in the nfl than MOST players do.
add reggie bush to that list. The guy can't run between the tackles and a person drafted # 2 overall should be a feature back. Dont give me that excuse he is too little. warrick dunn is 5'8 183 and is over 10,000 yards rushing in his career. little darren sproles 5'6 185...run between tackle. There is no excuse reggie bush at 5'10 203.
Don't forget Maurice Jones Drew, 5'6 225 can run between the tackles and run on sweeps. To many people judge talent based off of popularity without carefully examining their true playing ability. And your right Reggie Bush is a perfect example.
I don't consider Reggie Bush a bust because he has gotten better over the last few years. He'll never be the back of the decade like he was supposed to be, but he can be a solid punt returner in the near future.
Matt Ryan's an awesome quarterback, but he'll have a tougher schedule next year and he lost his best Offensive Lineman due to retirement. I still think he'll do good, but not as good as this year.
You have a good point, but I don't think the Falcons need an offensive lineman. They drafted one just last year (Sam Baker). I'm hoping they either pick up Jason Taylor or draft an outside linebacker/defensive end. But, like I said, you do have a point, Orlando Pace would look great in a Falcon uniform in his last few years.
I think he'll do better. He will win a ring if he keeps going at his rate. He gets a mulligan for that playoffs game vs the Cards. He was going up against a tenacious D and a veteran, HIGHLY underrated QB. If Atlanta continues to build around him, he will win the big one.
i wonder how simms feels having a kid who should be on this list and give him a few years Jamarcus russel will be up there also they talk about peyton going out there and starting on a bad team manning is a hall of famer
I believe the reason why Phil Simms is not in the NFL Hall of Fame, is because of these top 10 reasons 10. He is stupid and tries to talk loud to cover it up. 9. He sucked. 8. Jeff Hostetler 7. His son sucks 6. He is too opinionated 5. He had beef with Lawrence Taylot 4. Crowned the Patriots as the Best Team ever, even though they lost the Super Bowl to an Underdog!! LOL Patriots Suck!! 3. He is an aweful announcer 2. He is a hater 1. He said he was going to Disney World and probably did not
phil simms is a retard, people become busts because their great physical abilty overshadows their bad leadership, attidude, etc, but with only some exeptions. look at joe montana, tom brady, or even jerry rice. jerry rice had a 4.5 40 time, but on the field he was the fastest man.
Phill Simms makes a TERRIBLE point. How can you disregard intangibles when picking a QB? Ryan Leaf had ALL the physical tools to be one of the greatest QBs of all time but Payton Manning, the QB with the greater leadership qualities, turned into the star. Russel is another example of a QB with ALL the physical tools and yet looks like he is well on his way to being a bust. Instead Matt Ryan the QB that had the "it" quality but the questionable "tools" is lighting up the league in his first year
at 1st I didn't understand why all the hate for Phill Simms. after watching this...I understand. He is a moron if he thought Akili Smith was going to be good in the NFL. I remember that 99 NFL draft and I had Ricky Williams # 1 and Tim Couch as the # 1 qb, and Daunte Culpepper as the 2nd best qb. Now, obviously Mccabb has been the best of that class, but Akili Smith...that's bad. Akili didn't start long enough to warrant such a high pick.
lols my eagles got mcnabb instead of couch in the 99 draft. the browns had a choice between cullpepper, mcnabb and couch and they picked couch. wat douchbags
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
mcnabb isn't that great. couch probably could have had the same career mcnabb has had if he went to philly instead of cleveland. maybe. who knows. if mcnabb went to that shitty cleveland team instead, he wouldn't be around today either. couch just got fucked. haha.
how is bush a bust, he lead his team to the playoffs his rookie year, he had 9 touchdowns before he got hurt this year, he was on past for 16+ touchdowns this yearrr...Mario is great but Bush isnt a bust that was dumb, you probably jus dont like him thats why
ok he hasnt rushed 4 1,000 yds, what about his all purpose yards, what about his punt returns, how about all da catches he gets...he isnt da best running bak in da league but he is one of the best all purpose backs in da league hands down..
You're an idiot, He didn't lead his team to the playoffs, Drew Brees did. Bush has averaged 3.7 YPC his career. He hasn't had more than 581 yards in his career. He's a bust.
He didn't have more than 581 yards rushing in his career. In terms of total yardage he's had over a thousand a season. The main problem with Reggie is that he's soft. Every year he gets beat up and sent to the sidelines. Not a good thing for a running back.
The main problem is that he cannot run between the tackles. Reggie will always be a solid back like Kevin Faulk of the Pats, most likely better, but he will never be a feature back.
To Colorado Typewriter: Give Reggie Bush some more time before you consider him a bust. Sure he'll never be the back people expected him to be, but he isn't an all-down back either. If he doesn't get hurt, I bet in the next few years he'll be a solid all-purpose back, and an average punt returner.
ok jus cuz he didnt put up da numbers he had in college doesnt mean he is a bust..he lead his team in receptions 2 years in a row (not this year cuz he had that injury) he scored every single game this year before he got hurt, he returned 2 punts vs da vikings almost 3 before he tripped ova nothin..he is not a bust...
it's really only Russells second year though considering how long it took him to sign and he wasn't practicing during that period. and, like they said in the video, his team stinks. he has a tight end being his leading receiver and the only other possibly legit target is just a guy that can stretch the field in Higgins. i wouldn't label him as a bust yet.

But OL is where it all starts.

and here's the other thing bout phil simms, the stats weren't there, but everyone says "oh he was a leader, and he had a quality" Maybe the nfl owners and GM's should'veturned their TV's off when ur name came up {hil u fuckin leach!!
hawtinandclarke 2 years ago
if phil simms didnt have the team he did, he would be just like his son, a very shit QB
hawtinandclarke 2 years ago
yes he is, i was just trying to make a point.haha he was dominate at Florida, NFL, not so much.
dawgfan3485 2 years ago
And Popeworshiper com'on man hes never lead the team to the playoff's
more than once are you kiddin me?
He was drafted in 2006, the Titans were 0-6 or or somthing and he took them to an 8-8 record [No playoff's that year] 2007 they went 10-6 lost to chargers in playoff's that year. This year Kerry Collins tok em to the playoff's with a 13-3
Vince only took em once dude.
NastyKobra 2 years ago
No people cant call Vince Young a draft bust but this year clearly showed he's not cut out to be a starting QB. I mean com'on He started off behind Kerry Collins then he got the Job, went 8-8 then got hurt then Kerry came along again then Vince was being a bitch and was running away
and then wanted to commit suicide haha hes not a starter he cant handle the presssure but he's not a bust he just needs better mentoring. To Bad McNair retired he could have tought Vince sooooooo much more.
NastyKobra 2 years ago
WHAAAAT. Vince young wasn't being a bitch. he came back.

Where is David Carr on this list?
Dud512 2 years ago
You gotta give Carr a break for being on an expansion team.
bschriner 2 years ago
I'm not giving him nothin because if thats the case, then why aint he on the sorry team...
Dud512 2 years ago
Notice the guys on this list are gone in a year or less and have a handful of starts. Carr started 75 games in 5 years and played well considering they had a terrible O-line, no running game and one decent WR who was a rookie his 3rd year. No QB would have made much of a difference there. They were an expansion team, which means their roster is all toss aways from other teams and rookies. You can't blame Carr for the failings of an expansion team if you know the game.
bschriner 2 years ago 2
they are all professionals so it don't matter
Dud512 2 years ago
i agree u could put peyton mannoig there or tom brady and they would have goten crushed
3049190 2 years ago
I thought Carr would've been great, maybe he's too nice, but it was probably the bad OL and lack of ground. Hopefully sitting behind Manning (baby) will help, and I hope he gets to start for a team. I knew Reggie Bush was gonna be a bust. PAC 10 doesn't have great D. I'ts laughable that an undrafted RB shares the backfield w/him. Yet i've never heard him called a "bust", just a "disappointment." Bush isn't that good.
Sirscorps 2 years ago
ok how is vince young a freakin bust r u retarted da titans didnt evean start 1 he was behind OVER RATED qb kerry collins vince young cud be good if titans give him a chance again
vtecjoc123 2 years ago
he does not have the right character of a NFL QB........he is not even starting yet he is demanding a trade?
Dud512 2 years ago
Agreed, and if he was good he would be starting over Collins. Young has had about the same career as Derrick Harvey has had. Who is that you ask? My point exactly.
dawgfan3485 2 years ago 2
and another thig when he was drafted who was hyped as the better QB? Matt Leinart
Dud512 2 years ago
Exactly
dawgfan3485 2 years ago
Defensive Lineman don't usually have a breakout season in their first season!!
For example, Texans DE Mario Williams had a only 4.5 sacks in his rookie, but the next 2 seasons he average 13 sacks!!
tmcfootball96 2 years ago
Your forgetting the fact that Williams also had a toe injury for almost 3/4 of the season. Your also not even seeing the point I was trying to prove here, That Young Isnt a good pro, thats all im trying to say. I used Harvey as a simple example. Would you rather me use ted Ginn jr.? lol
dawgfan3485 2 years ago
Well this was made in 2007 so they didn't see that coming did they?
thatguywiththecodes 2 years ago
Yep, I was at that draft and i must honestly admit I thought it was a bad pick, i thought Reggie Bush or Vince Young would be their guy, in retrospect Williams and jay Cutler would've been the two best picks, Houston got Williams. Cutler is more mature (despite his Broncos tantrum) than leinhart or Young.
Speegs23 2 years ago
and where is david carr and joey harrington on this list
Dud512 2 years ago
one that i'd add to the list is Vince Young. i always thought of him as a product of his environment at Texas and he has fallen off after his one good rookie season in the pros. he isn't much of a pocket passer and hasn't really added on to it since. i guess we'll see once he comes back what he really has to offer.
absOFkryptonium 2 years ago
i completely agree...Vince Young SUCKS
Dud512 2 years ago
Vince Young SUCKS?
POPEWORSHIPER 2 years ago
yes........how can he be this good quarterback on the bench behind kerry collins?.....He wasn't even the best QB when he was in college
Dud512 2 years ago
I never said he was the best, but he HAS led the team to the playoffs more than once and the only thing keeping him from doing it again is his mental illness.
POPEWORSHIPER 2 years ago
and that is a huge thing
Dud512 2 years ago
It IS a huge thing, but it's NOT the same thing as the lack of talent that keeps every other college star from succeeding in the nfl...and becoming a "bust." Even if Vince Young never plays again, he has tasted more success in the nfl than MOST players do.
POPEWORSHIPER 2 years ago
you have a point but he was hyped as the QB better than Steve McNair for this franchise and so far it hasn't panned out
Dud512 2 years ago 2
Lets throw Jamarcus Russell and Matt Lienart in that list also!
josephNYY2 2 years ago
add reggie bush to that list. The guy can't run between the tackles and a person drafted # 2 overall should be a feature back. Dont give me that excuse he is too little. warrick dunn is 5'8 183 and is over 10,000 yards rushing in his career. little darren sproles 5'6 185...run between tackle. There is no excuse reggie bush at 5'10 203.
reile567 2 years ago 5
bust yea i mean just before his injury he led the league in touchdowns and receptions till week 10 even though he only played 7 games
Frecko427 2 years ago
Don't forget Maurice Jones Drew, 5'6 225 can run between the tackles and run on sweeps. To many people judge talent based off of popularity without carefully examining their true playing ability. And your right Reggie Bush is a perfect example.
ravenking48 2 years ago
@reile567 yeah imagine how good the saints would be if reggie bush turned out as good as everybody thought he would.
ladygagaspenis 1 year ago
well look at matt ryan
he started immediatly and they were expected to be one of the worst teams in the league yet they ended up at the top of the league
ilikeike91 2 years ago
I don't consider Reggie Bush a bust because he has gotten better over the last few years. He'll never be the back of the decade like he was supposed to be, but he can be a solid punt returner in the near future.
waterboy51 2 years ago

bullshit kid. look at that 11-5 record, second rookie qb to ever throw for over 3000 yards. the other was peyton manning. look how peyton turned out
blazinspeed95 2 years ago 2
u'll see.
masterfreestyler187 2 years ago
Matt Ryan's an awesome quarterback, but he'll have a tougher schedule next year and he lost his best Offensive Lineman due to retirement. I still think he'll do good, but not as good as this year.
GO FALCONS!
waterboy51 2 years ago
they draft has a lot of OL talent, and Free Agency still has some oldy but goodys out there (Orlando Pace)
Falcons all the way in a few years!
blazinspeed95 2 years ago
You have a good point, but I don't think the Falcons need an offensive lineman. They drafted one just last year (Sam Baker). I'm hoping they either pick up Jason Taylor or draft an outside linebacker/defensive end. But, like I said, you do have a point, Orlando Pace would look great in a Falcon uniform in his last few years.
waterboy51 2 years ago
I think he'll do better. He will win a ring if he keeps going at his rate. He gets a mulligan for that playoffs game vs the Cards. He was going up against a tenacious D and a veteran, HIGHLY underrated QB. If Atlanta continues to build around him, he will win the big one.

He said he was going to Disney World and probably did not
Goodykos 3 years ago
phil simms is a retard, people become busts because their great physical abilty overshadows their bad leadership, attidude, etc, but with only some exeptions. look at joe montana, tom brady, or even jerry rice. jerry rice had a 4.5 40 time, but on the field he was the fastest man.
evan1170 3 years ago
Phill Simms makes a TERRIBLE point. How can you disregard intangibles when picking a QB? Ryan Leaf had ALL the physical tools to be one of the greatest QBs of all time but Payton Manning, the QB with the greater leadership qualities, turned into the star. Russel is another example of a QB with ALL the physical tools and yet looks like he is well on his way to being a bust. Instead Matt Ryan the QB that had the "it" quality but the questionable "tools" is lighting up the league in his first year
gamble777888 3 years ago 2
at 1st I didn't understand why all the hate for Phill Simms. after watching this...I understand. Akili didn't start long enough to warrant such a high pick.

mcnabb isn't that great. couch probably could have had the same career mcnabb has had if he went to philly instead of cleveland. maybe. who knows. if mcnabb went to that shitty cleveland team instead, he wouldn't be around today either. couch just got fucked. haha.

damn -31 lol

how is bush a bust, he lead his team to the playoffs his rookie year, he had 9 touchdowns before he got hurt this year, he was on past for 16+ touchdowns this yearrr...Mario is great but Bush isnt a bust that was dumb, you probably jus dont like him thats why
HavinSetzEllYuh 3 years ago
Lets see, he is yet to live up to his great stature. He has not even broken 1,000 yards yet!! BUST!!!
Goodykos 3 years ago
ok he hasnt rushed 4 1,000 yds, what about his all purpose yards, what about his punt returns, how about all da catches he gets...he isnt da best running bak in da league but he is one of the best all purpose backs in da league hands down..
HavinSetzEllYuh 3 years ago
You're an idiot, He didn't lead his team to the playoffs, Drew Brees did. Bush has averaged 3.7 YPC his career. He hasn't had more than 581 yards in his career. He's a bust.
ColoradoTypewriter 3 years ago
He didn't have more than 581 yards rushing in his career. In terms of total yardage he's had over a thousand a season. The main problem with Reggie is that he's soft. Every year he gets beat up and sent to the sidelines. Not a good thing for a running back.
G4Spounge 2 years ago
The main problem is that he cannot run between the tackles. Reggie will always be a solid back like Kevin Faulk of the Pats, most likely better, but he will never be a feature back.
ColoradoTypewriter 2 years ago 2
To Colorado Typewriter: Give Reggie Bush some more time before you consider him a bust. Sure he'll never be the back people expected him to be, but he isn't an all-down back either. If he doesn't get hurt, I bet in the next few years he'll be a solid all-purpose back, and an average punt returner.
waterboy51 2 years ago
he is a bust did u see the numbers he put up at usc he was great now he hasn't even been close to those number in the nfl
MikeBannShow 3 years ago
ok jus cuz he didnt put up da numbers he had in college doesnt mean he is a bust..he lead his team in receptions 2 years in a row (not this year cuz he had that injury) he scored every single game this year before he got hurt, he returned 2 punts vs da vikings almost 3 before he tripped ova nothin..he is not a bust...
HavinSetzEllYuh 3 years ago
Best Players = Worst Teams. How hard to develop into that star when they're probably going to have poor coaching and teammates?
CelebrityHotTub 4 years ago 65
Yeah, way to much pressure on some of these players to come in and just completely turn it all around.
blazinspeed95 2 years ago
Agreed.
That's why the shouldn't start immediatly. They should play backup for a year.
That's what i think they should do with Jamarcus Russell. Start Jeff Garcia and let him learn from a veteran.
RedRooster700 2 years ago
this is russells third year tho. if hes not ready by now hell never be
Console818 2 years ago
it's really only Russells second year though considering how long it took him to sign and he wasn't practicing during that period. and, like they said in the video, his team stinks. he has a tight end being his leading receiver and the only other possibly legit target is just a guy that can stretch the field in Higgins. i wouldn't label him as a bust yet.
