I think its good to leave this scene out as there was too much info in it. The waitress talked too much. The boss explained about the letter. and the stewardess spoke.
by leaving it out, the original plot was still understandable through viewers' own interpretations. in this case, Too Much Info. Im glad this was cut.
The song in this clip is sung by Faye Wong but originally recorded by The Cranberries (Irish band) and called "Dreams". Great clip. Thanks for posting.
And to anyone that wants to know, the song in the background is written by the girl in the clip, Faye Wong? It's called Dream. And there's a mandarin and Cantonese version of this song.
I may be in the minority but I love the movie without this clip. I mean, this clip is great and stuff but I think that Tony questioning whether he loves Faye is just a tad too early for the movie - you're not supposed to question love, it just happens. I also don't like how his ex came back.

@AisuyuXIII The song is called Dreams and it's originally by the Cranberries. Faye Wong's version was used for the movie.

this is an interesting scene, but I think the right choice was made in leaving it out

@OxygenOfHappiness He is doubting whether he still loves his ex, not Faye.

I agree the scene with the sweetener/sleeping pills would have added value to the movie!
