Man I remember my first playthrough of the game I didn't know what to do after beating Venus cuz I didn't know the sparkly spot on the ground was a key. So I did the ENTIRE mt battle challenge and got my team to the 60s and 70s....after that, easiest pokemon game ever lol.

i havnt played this game yet so i dont know if they sell it or not in this one, but maybe you should have bought a TM for false swipe :)

its the only move where being super overpowered helps in catching pokemon ;)

@ioddandodd fire red wasnt actually a 1st generation game..... it was a filler game between generations 3 and 4........ but still u can actually buy false swipe as a TM in both fire red and leaf green because it was a feature that nintendo was testing along with some other stuff in the fire red and leaf green games......
