i never played NG 1 so i went out and bought NG 2 cause i love ninja games Tenchu is awesome. I bought this game thinking its just going to be some kick ass slaughter fest and well i love the hacking off limbs is awesome. These boss fights kinda killed it for me but then after some time playing it i started to enjoy the challenge of the boss's bring. But i think the makers of NG should make a ninja game where you just run around in Japan, China, and just slaughter other samurai. No mutated foes

ummmm.... Ninja Gaiden 2 sucks, hence the lower ratings than Sigma and the first, NG2 sucks because of A)Frame Rate Lag B.)Dispositioning in story-line C.)It's too easy and short. Sigma is easily the best in the 3D series and the reason why it looks easier is becuase it's not set to the higher difficulty. The highest difficulty is beyond any of the previous on Xbox and the graphics on Sigma are sharper and just as good as NG2.

PS3 and Xbox are pretty close in graphic abillity, both have enough power that it doesn't even matter anymore. How a game looks has VERY little to with the console, but more with how well the artists use effects and optimise stuff. Good skinning>>>polygons etc.

If ninja gaiden on xbox is better then on the ps3 it's not the fault of the console but of how the game was programmed and optimized for a console.

I got this game on my birthday Jul. 13th of last year i beat normal mode in 4 weeks and im still trying to beat Hard mode to this day. ADVISORY TO PEOPLE WHO'VE NEVER PLAYED THIS GAME: if you are not prepared for hours of backtracking puzzle solving and extremely hard bosses and over-all difficult gameplay then this game is not for you

Boss Strategy:

I used the Dabilahro(lvl-3)

combo: Square, Square, Square, Square, Triangle

(This combo worked best in my opinion when I got his head to the ground. It does a heavy amount of damage in the process lol)

At this point in the game you should have enough spirit currency to buy whatever you need. Boss = easy by constantly throwing Incendiary Shurikens at him until I used them all up. Then Explosive Arrows after that.

Restock at the Merchant after you defeat boss ^.^

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is yet again another improved version of Ninja Gaiden/Black from XBOX but is now only for the PS3.
