The lyrics say, for instance, that before the Old City was conquered by Israeli arms the market (souf) was deserted. That is absurd, of course. In Judaism god doesn't live in any temple. The temple was just a place for human beings to worship god- nothing greater than that. Some later prophets in the bible rejected some people who worshiped god in the temple, thinking that that worship would make him forgive their crimes |(especially moral crimes).
