Hehe, I reckon I'm too old to start doing it competitively like this-I'm 16 now, going on 17. But I've got a little arab x Welsh speed demon who I'm training, he's an absolute stunner when it comes to bending-he can do it in seconds, and he's brilliant and sharp corners too, he can literally go from a gallop, spin round on his hocks, and gallop back again :)

I never did mounted games before but plan to here and there. But I have a question...vaulting on your horse's back like that all the time...well, doesn't that leave your horse with a sore back after a while? i always wondered that :3

@xHollyxxxGerryx well i know it sounds a bit weird but the faster you go the easier it is and the way i vault is i put my right hand on the oppostie side to you and my left hand i have it half way up the ponies neck and i have the reins and abit of main in my left hand to hold on to . i stand a bit infront of the saddle !! if that helps but seriously the ponies go the easier it is !!!

you have to be under 15 (or for your last season turn 15 after the january that the season starts) i think thats the rule any way its a bit complicated but MGA is for older riders :)

Eerrmm now I'm not too sure there cos I'm no where near the max age limit so I don't compete against people much older than me. But my cousin doesit and she is 22 (I think) hope this helps :S sorry I couldn't give you an exact age, I mainly do PPC not MGA so I don't know loads about that sort of stuff. I'm sure it will say on the MGA website or you can ask meg (PPCmeg) she will probs know sorry I couldnt be of more help :D xxx

i have a pony that bucks in canter and i cannot vault on him if he doesn't canter so i may not be able to do it..... or will i be able to make him canter how can i make him stop if you don't mind me asking?

Hiya! Well i'm no expert but i had a pony that did that ad i put a extra thick numnha on her or a fluffy numnha. It stopped her. But id this doesnt stop them then you prob just need to practise in a trot untill the pony knows not to do it and then go onto canter. Hope this helps if not then just say and i will think of something else! he he x

wow dats a bit sad u didnt get in cause u where sooooooooooo great u and ur pony sky make a greay couple my pony is 25 and we still can jump about 60-70cm even though he could go whay higher and he also got 2nd in a games comp and it was ma first show and we were up against 10yr old ponys he did so well. you and ur pony could go a long way have fun riding
