  • @megaolioliolioli cicada can suck my dick

  • @megaolioliolioli Cicadas do NOT love their childeren. And millions of these things die every time they come out to provide food for other animals.

BUGS are FOOD for other animals, just like plants. They serve only an small purpose to our ecosystem, and that's eating carcasses.

  • @megaolioliolioli they live a long ass time, most insects live no more than a year or so

    lol

  • beardeds are the rats of lizards..

  • never give animals from outside fuck head. Those shit also eat shit!!!!!

  • lizards look like their always smiling...

  • It's true, you shouldn't feed your beardie bugs from outside. We spray pesticides to get ride of them and a lot are now immune to most pesticides. That means that when they come in contact with poison they wont die and are now carrying the poison on their bodies. If you feed one of them to your beardie its going to die.

  • The cicada screamed right before being eaten. Hilarious.

  • Cicada got MANGLED!!!

  • nvm i heard it was teh sprinkler

  • cicadas don't care about life they're soul purpose is to feed the predators each 17 years and why was it smoking in beginning?

  • it was SCREAMING for its life seconds before it was eaten

  • @WweUniverse4Ever haha very cool!!

  • What's the steam coming off the cicada's head in the beginning? Very interesting, thanks for sharing.

  • It's actually a sprinkler running in my back yard. lol

  • lolz

  • he was chewing really fast!

  • to everyone saying bugs from outside will make them sick, lets be real what do they eat in the wild. its such a minimal risk, and it is good to give them variety

  • thank you mikjryan! These people act like they know everything!! And that is soo true what the hell do you think they eat in the wild?? I'm sure way worse things then cicadias!!! She is also one of the healthiest beardies I EVER saw! So people can think whatever they want!

  • keep in minf they do not eat americna insects in the wild. our insects have trace amounts of pesticides on them rather often and parasites captive lizards are not used to handling.

There is a lot of documentation of beardies dying from parasites due to wild caught feeders. see above reply also.

  • well normally when they are out in the wild they are in australia and im pretty sure that they arent around a bunch of overly populated areas like in the states or europe where people use pesticides, fertilizers and other chemicals all over thier lawns.

  • living in Australia and having been to national parks where dragons and other lizards live its actually not uncommon for national parks to have treatments used in certain areas, as Aus is quite often under threat from foreigner plants and insects. if your worried about pesticides, why not look at the vegetables you feed your dragons , they will not doubt use pesticides. it dose not affect them. im sure is soak a bug in rat sap for weed killer something might happen but other wise they are fine.

  • variety is good. hard shelled insects are not. and from your yard can contain pesticides and parasites that non native reptiles have difficulty coping with. Second a lot of wild bugs are deadly to beardies.

a single firefly can kill almost any insect eating lizard and ladybugs and some moths/caterpillars are very toxic also.

I wont so its not ok to feed wild feeders if you are very careful about where you get them and what you give them and they are otherwise very healthy.

  • @mikjryan ehh the only difference between wild bugs here and wild bugs there is the shit we spray everywhere here to prevent certain bugs are takin in by other bugs that dont die from the chemicals. where they come from (australia desert) there is none...cuz its a desert....who the hell would spray a desert for fucking bugs...

  • @mikjryan Even for us, it's not healthy to eat the same thing over and over again. This also apples to all of the other living species.

  • @mikjryan No, if PESTICIDES weren't invented, we'd be able to feed our reptiles anything basically from outside, but pesticides ruin that. and the environment..

  • @MrGooseMuffin Well not anything, NEVER feed any reptile a lightning bug, it'll be dead in 24 hours, pesticides or no

  • @psychicesp007 yeah, forgot about the certain insects, but I mean any vegetable Beardies can eat, they would be able to from outside.

  • Glad it ate that fucker. Those things are noisy and annoying.

  • uhh did you research bearded dragon before you got one? because its bad to feed them bugs from outside because they may have parasites :P

i reckon cicadas are cool looking bugs

  • I have had bearded dragons my whole life and I am in my 30's. She is still alive and doing well! lol So yes, I do know all about bearded dragons.

  • good then you do know that feeding bearded dragons bugs from outside CAN make them sick (im not saying it will but i wouldnt take the risk)

  • 0:19-0:26 = omnomnomnom

  • yumnumnum

  • were are you bro nz.???

  • ?? IL

  • Was there like smoke coming out of the Cicada? BTW awesome beardie :]

  • Acutally I was running a sprinkler in the backyard at the time. LOL

  • LOL my mistake

  • Somethimes we can just get a weird lizard. But let me ask you what kind of tank/living are you providing for him/her? When my beardie would hide it meant she was either too hot? Or she was getting ready to lay eggs. But she was never aggressive. Maybe you should just feed your beardie bugs like meal worms, crickets etc.. till it fills itself up and feels full maybe the mood will change? Did you handle it alot when it was young?

  • i hate cicadas they finally got what they deserve

  • ooo sexy lol ^^' thats gotta be yummy for ur BD

  • Hahah I like the loud noise it makes just before it gets eaten

  • Cool how it gets to eat such a rare bug! lucky lizard eh?

  • wtf is that noise it makes...

  • It's saying ouch! ouch! LOL

  • it makes that noise to atract a mate

  • DIE CICADA DIE!

    i hate those things!

  • thats so great as the dragon is eating it the thing squecks as it in its mouse thats awesome

  • That's cute, it looks so funny when it's licking it's lip and stuff.

  • Thanks Soupman! :)

  • ha np

  • lol It was mid-chirp crunch crunch!

  • No not really, their sort of like large flys LOL. They only come from the ground once every seventeen years. The bugs that look like them but are green are Locuses.

  • it said shiiiiiiit before it died!

  • It sure did! :)

  • Beanie says: "mmm that was good. got more?"

  • haha yah you are. but what i was talking about is when you said "cool" ... hahaa... watch it and you'll see. =]

<3 check out my vids. <3

  • cool vid. can u help me please? is it possible to find out what sex a beardie is? i,ve had mine (deefer) for a year now and have no idea what sex it is. any help much appreciated

  • Check out bearded dragons dot org and they can explain better about the sex than myself. Thanks for the comment!!

  • that bug is horriible

  • they can eat wild bugs ooO!?

  • It depends on what kind of bug. Cicada's are high in protein. Some bugs can posion your beardie.

  • i know that lightning bugs are bad but i thought any wild bug was bad cuz of the germs.

  • I guess the whole germ thing makes sense. I'm sure crickets that live in a tank with thousands of them in it can have germs also. And 90% of all beardie owners feed crickets. Mine seemed to do just fine with the cicada's and she ate probably about 50 or more during all the Cicadas this year. But I don't feed her any other type of outdoor insects. I buy my crickets in bulk and feed the crickets well so they have some type of nutrition in them when feeding them to her.

  • any bug besides ones that do have venom or poison are ok but don't just feed them anything. the only way an everyday harmless bug could be harmful is if it has came in contact with pesticides and then fed to your beardie. i hope this helps

  • yeah, but I'm pretty sure that cicadas are harmless other than pesticides.

  • Thanks PoppinWiz!!

  • What was the stuff coming out of the bug's nose steam?btw the sound of the bug dying was awesome great vid 5/5

  • I really want to get a Bearded Dragon, but I'm worried that I'll make a mistake in setting up its tank, and I don't want to harm it by accident.

How big is your tank, and how do you keep the temperature right? Do you turn the heat lamps off at night time?

  • They are really easy to take care of. And probably the best lizard you can own. They are very calm and very personable with humans. I let my sit out with me when watching tv and stuff.

My tank is a 65 gallon breeder tank. And I keep it around 90-100 degrees where she basks. And at night I use a lower watt night bulb and keep it about 75-85. They are desert like lizards. Beanie is a orange breadie. The common bearded is like a gray color.

    Hope this helped

  • lol, i love the sound of the cincada dying
