24 years ago in Nashville, I dated a beautiful young woman named Belinda. She was so vibrant, so creative, so full of life and love. We met at Church and began dating for over a year. I had to go away to Graduate school in Maine. We tried to keep up a long distance relationship and it failed miserably. She married, her husband died tragically and she tried to reach out for me, but I was already married also. Heard Reba's song again for the first again on the radio and bawled my eyes out.
Can anyone clear up for me how many #1s Reba has? I know that she had over 20 #1s in the 80's and 90's, but I'm sure she has more. Also, it says in this video that her and Dolly Parton are tied for the most number of Top Ten hits, but hasn't Reba moved ahead with Strange and Consider Me Gone? I'm a fan, but I just started being one in the spring of last year. Thanks for any help!
I wasn't always a huge fan of country music but when I heard Reba for the first time everything kind of...clicked. She's got real power and emotion to her songs and voice.
The loss of her band direct after this album release has been the hardest part of hearing Reba ever since. Her and her band were in their PRIME.. I'm glad she didn't get on the plane. There will Never be another country band like hers!
