that's how they are. they have back legs like rabbits. i had one that was cornered by a lab and a dalmation and she jumped right over both of them, it was great.

I grew up with a springer. They really are the best dogs. Mine died at the age of 14. But in her life she survived falling off a cliff, a bowel problem && a slipped disk. She was my miracle dog :')

ive grown up with springers, they make the best pets, some are real intelegent and others seem to be.....err... less than bright shall we say lol, but all are loving and loyal.

@nickalex27 Mhmm less than bright is an understatement in some cases :P good example throw a rock comes back with last weeks lost ball:P however same pup throw a small stone with a red dot marker on it into a gravel drive... comes back with the right stone every time!... confusing but Wonderful, perfect family or working dogs not so good as a pure pet as they need soooo much excercise... then 5 minutes later they'll make it look as though they haven't been out all week!! ^_^

lol it looked like she trampled on a puppy :P I have an English Springer Spaniel who has lovely short ears like yours do :) Hes not as fluffy as yours though, and his eyes turn very dark brown when hes in attention mode, and to yellow when he goes hyper and cheeky lol hes 2 years! I love springer spaniels! :D

My uncles springer became pregnant from a bittany spaniel and they were both award winning bird dogs. I'm going to get one in about 2 and a half months. I can't wait!
