Who thinks that 1) you should be able to type things in books which would make custom map messages easier. 2) they should add spears that would do half a heart of damage when you throw them but they would be easy to make a.k.a. flint stick stick. 3) they should allow you to get spawn eggs in survival by killing a certain number of mobs so that you could have a friendly mob. and 4) they should have a recipe for spawners like maybe a bone surrounded by mossy cobblestone for skeleton spawner.

I don't think this would really fly in the world of minecraft, first off the playing pong would be kind of redundant. I just couldn't see myself getting on minecraft to play another completely different game. The same goes for the floppy disc that holds up to 10 docs, I mean what's the point; when would that ever be useful. The only possibly useful thing is the one that shows you your score, kills, blocks, ect. And in all honesty I wouldn't even care enough to look that up.

Well I guess you probably couldn't when this vid was made, I at least don't remember ever doing it, but you can now check your stats in game. The whole computer idea is a bad one though. Adding all this stuff just to say you have a computer in Minecraft seems like a bad idea. I am personally much more impressed with people that manage to make this sort of cool stuff out of redstone, and I much more enjoy attempting these sorts of builds. A in-game computer would spoil this, at least for me.
