Guys, the roblem of the refs is not that they are just giving advantage to All Blacks (except McCaw of course =D ). The problem is more that during international competitions we shouldn't have so much difference between Northern and Southern Hemispheres refering. During Four Nations (I refuse to call that Tri Nations successor "Rugby Championship" 'cause it's way too pretentious) and VI Nations no worries, but for World Cup all referees should work EXACTLY the same way. Which is not the case
Mcallister's yellow card is the softest sinbinning I've ever seen. I cant recall ever seeing a player sin binned for a similar offence. Nor can I recall a team getting 16 consecutive second half penalties. I also dont recall a game where a team/player is given a penalty advantage, immediately attempts a drop goal, MISSES , but the Ref says the advantage acrued and plays on. There were so many inexplicable and never-before-seen ref decisions that this game will always be contentious for Kiwis.

The best example of this was the final French try were the ABs failed to number up on the blind side, Nick Evans being the main culprit here. This in combintation with poor officiating and a failure to recognise that the substandard referee was not going to give a penalty for anything other than a direct punch to the face lost it for the ABs.

France only won this game by doing what they do best, playing dirty and being cheats (the forward pass). That mixed with inexperienced biased ref (missed 2 attacking penaltys that would have won the ABs the game and the forward pass, even check paddy O'Brians statement about the Wayne Baynes) and an injured (prob purposly by the dirty french) Carter (only AB capable of getting a Drop Goal hopefully they practice it for this RWC coming up) is why the ABs lost and it should have been the ABs game.

To be honest we should have never lost that game even if the performance of the ref was extremely poor, which it was. Our team was so good we should've been able to field a b-side, be screwed by the ref and play badly and still progress. We choked and had no strategy for the final 10mins. In the end we played the worst game on the biggest stage and it cost us. In saying that if the ref was half decent we would've won and you cant just ignore that side of it either.
a champion number 10 is needed in such a match. no team has ever won the super rugby comp without a world no1 flyhalf thats how important they are. dan carter going out like that lost us the match, just hope he stays injury free this year.

@zest4lyfe If you slow it down the pass seems to be heading backwards, but the player momentum takes it forward. If this was deemed a forward pass, then we would have dozens of forward passes each game.
We are always looking for an excuse for why the All Blacks lost (dirty tactics, food poisoning, forward pass).

France only won this game by doing what they do best, playing dirty and being cheats (the forward pass). That mixed with inexperienced biased ref (missed 2 attacking penaltys that would have won the ABs the game and the forward pass, even check paddy O'Brians statement about the Wayne Baynes) and an injured (prob purposly by the dirty french) Carter (only AB capable of getting a Drop Goal hopefully they practice it for this RWC coming up) is why the ABs lost and it should have been the ABs game.

To be honest we should have never lost that game even if the performance of the ref was extremely poor, which it was. Our team was so good we should've been able to field a b-side, be screwed by the ref and play badly and still progress. We choked and had no strategy for the final 10mins. In the end we played the worst game on the biggest stage and it cost us. In saying that if the ref was half decent we would've won and you cant just ignore that side of it either.
