Great chase sequence. Miami Vice is still better than most of TV shows today.

I agree with your conclusion wouldn't be as good.But the show had a lot of problems to mainly with crocket and tubs big egoes.

think they started strugling with ideas as well,take alook at the episode featuring james brown.seriosly stupid episode.

But i think today the nooge man and izzy would have had thier own show

Couldn't agree more. They started really run out of ideas and the episodes would have looked the same. There is also some great "special episodes" with and extraordinary subject like "Death And The Lady"

I caught a behind the scenes on miami vice on E channel.

leraned that don johnson and phillip. constantly argued about who was gonna come out of their trailer first.and johnson argued with the castillo guy too about having to open the door into castilios office,

but izzy and the nooge man was funny.but they did¨'t talk about them.

@antoniopardi76 WELL THEY wore running out of ideas (i think) and the ego of don johnson and phillip became and incresingly big problem.

besides i think they wore quite lucky with hitting the 80s just at the right moment.

it lasted six years thats not all bad.I don't think it could have made it into the 90's

keep in mind that when they made this miami was drug central.if you see the doumentary cocaine cowboys you'll see what i mean

@leiefilm You have a point there. However, I am of the opinion that employing a number of new script writers would have breathed new life into the show. With regards to the latter problem, there is really little to nothing that could have been done. It's a shame that such a brilliant show had such a relatively short life.

@antoniopardi76 YEAH.But i also think if it had lasted longer it wouldn't have been the show that defines the 80 best.My favorite series was MV and Hunter(the one with fred dryer) Yeah they could have hired new writers but i guess since they called it quits they decided it wasn't worth it.

I got em all on dvd and I still see the wekness in the show as it went on.All series get weak when they drag out. sadly i have seen no cure for this yet

A very memorable scene from Miami Vice. In my opinion, this is one of the great chase sequences of all Miami Vice. How I wish they made more episodes after Season 5.
