I used to be critical of the South for hatred. I used to be an anti south Conservative. That all changed when there was a Liberal takeover of Washington D.C. Now, as a now former Yankee, God Bless Dixie. I am not racist, but the yankees are just too liberal for me!
i am ashamed to admit i live in the north,BUT born in the south. even when i was a baby i was wearing the confederate flag on my clothes. but once i graduate next year from high school im going to ole miss and making my SC10bat.great great granddaddy proud of me!
wouldn't understand, my grandmother was born in 1866, 1 yr after the wbts, my grandmothers daddy and his 2 brothers fought for the macon county guards, 10th ga. batt. co. "B", they were present during appomatox, when folks say, it is ancient history, no its not i am only 54, so the very essence of "southerness" is me,my dna,my genes,my life, i love being an american, but i love even more being a southern american, the south lost the war, but we have our pride, our heritage, god bless our dixie!!
i will try to explain to the folks who wasn't born in the south about our love for dixie, for one i am no racist, but in these days and times, when you start trying to teach someone, you always have to say that, with that said, its in the way, you were raised, the soft southern accents of our mothers, the hard working fathers and uncles, our traditions, our food, our strong family ties, its what our grandfathers taught us, its passed down from generations,if you have to explain dixie, then you

Ole Miss-Where you can still celebrate 200 years of Southern ignorance and racism in the guise of tradition. I hope they strip the CSA flag, Dixie, and the rest of this crap away from the U of M. I think they need a name change also. Time to join the rest of the country in the 21st century, U of M.
I know what freakin century it is BUDDY!!! DIXIE will never die and neither will OLE MISS!!! It's tradition and as far ignorance and racism are concerned, don't count yourself out!
Dude you are one of the many people who think that all Southners and there hertiage are racist. No, I love black ppl. I think many of them share my values of Dixie. Look at the ones playing the song.
Bhkidd, just because you are too cowardly to face the real world and realize not everyone is racist, doesn't mean you have to spread your flu to everyone else. If you think the south is so racist, don't watch our videos. Looks to me like you enjoy suffering or you wouldn't have come here.

WOW! The "Pride of the South" at the NEWniversity of Mississippi! Kind of hard to consider yourselves the "pride of the south" when you've been stripped of Col. Reb and the Confederate flag. You have nothing to be proud of....You have no identity because you let rich, stuck up liberals walk all over you. So much or being "Rebels." I'm guessing the ole myth students were too busy sucking money out of dad's tit and getting drunk to really care. Where IS your tradition Grizz?
What about your tradition? What like being named the Bulldogs (very original) or stealing Texas A&M's colors? Yeah, Mississippi State is just brimming with "tradition." Eat me. 45-0.
Clearly you say that because of your screen name or whatever. We have plenty of tradition to be proud of. For instance, the statues, sculptures, building, named and made after great people of the south. Another one is kicking Mississippi State's ass in football. That was a good memory, or memories I should say.
Was it you guys who spelled Mississippi wrong on your baseball scoreboard? I think it was. Keep talking dumbass.
Holy jumpin' jehosa fats there caesar, there's white and black folks in this video. Playing them instruments and whooping them drums. Now eureka your ass on back up north for i sic ol' dixieboy on that carpetbaggin' ass of yours!
Old times at Ole Miss are not forgotten!
