  • You can make all the excuses you want boys, that 840 is a beast !! can am doesn't stand a chance with that one

  • bottom line even the brute being just a (840cc) the outty is still a (1000CC) BIKE... JUST AMAGINE IF KAWIE BAD THE BRUTE INTO A 1000CC BIKE IT BE ALL OVER WITH FOR EVERY ONE LETS FACE IT 840 CC IS NOT 1000 CC I DONT UNDER STAND WHY PPL CAINT SEEM TO RELIZE JUST HOW STRONG THE BRUTES OR COMPARED TO ENGINE CC .. JUST MY TWO SENCE

  • is the 450r stock?

  • @island400ex I think so, no motor work I know.

  • kawi's have huge potential power upgrades. that's one mean brute.

  • no need to worry guys the Outty is tuned way down from the factory. The pipe is super restrictive and it needs more fuel for sure. A good fuel commander with the right fuel maps will make a huge difference. The aftermarket is working overtime on parts for this thing. CanAm claims 82 horse out of the crate, but i think you'll find its closer to the 95 horse range when tuned correctly.

  • @Bullietimebandit

Yeah I agree I'm waiting on a pipe. Get Torqued did a dyno run stock 1000 puts down an impressive 63 rwhp, but with a full pipe and EHS fuel adjuster added 9 rwhp for a impressive 72. This was without any air box mods just a pipe and fuel controller.

  • @archer102356 Which bike do you like the best

  • Can am is what I'm driving all the time. Just gained 8 rwhp with a new Muzzy dual pipe and PCV. Have new custom clutch coming for a better low end. The 1000's are heavy for sure so everything helps.

  • @Bullietimebandit Which bike do you like the best stock though?

  • Outty had 11 hours on it.

The 1000's are very leaned out 17.1 A/F range to meet California Carb specifications plus the pipe is very restrictive. I'm taking it into Dyno Jet when I find anyone with a aftermarket pipe and we will get the A/F in the 12-13 range and let the machine breath better. Should be much closer race next time with the improvements. I'll post video once I get the mods done. Can't find a pipe right now is the main problem. Dyno jet wants me in sometime in September.

  • OK, let me get this straight... this is a Brute Force with engine work done to it against a stock (and probably not completely broken in, I might add) Outlander? Mmmmm, kay. I imagine you guys don't realize the Outlanders don't have full power until completely broken in, too.

  • how the hell, brp 1000 lost?
