Just jot down the notes that he presses in order.

That's what I did and I mastered the first part in less than half an hour.

On the FF6 version of the fanfare, there are more notes. Every single note on the right hand part has three notes. You could learn the rest of it by looking at the actually SPC file using SPC2MIDI.

it's because it's a difficult thing to teach. There are a lot of phrases and sections with no definite pattern. I will be doing battle theme tutorials, but it will have to be later.

Nuh uh, this is just how I learned it. It's easy enough to figure out some bass notes. The tune mostly takes place on Dmajor, Cmajor, and Gmajor... so just figure out what sounds good.

Haven't quite come up with a settled name... Sim-Play is the prototype name. A phun on "Simply." It'll be a piano tutorial site starting this summer.

Well, I don't want to charge for tutorials, no... but I would like income for my work. That's why I'm redoing tutorials in a more professional manner (top down, less youtubey). What I'm planning on doing is making most of the tutorials totally free and streamable on the site, but there will be exclusive ones that will be on the tutorial CDs that I plan to sell. For instance, a Final Fantasy 7 tutorial CD would have the full tutorials of all of the favorites, and the site would have most of em
