I read that you play by ear but instead of provided the tabs can you send me the chords? I have such a hard time figure out those chords at the transition points. Thanks you
Many thumbs up here Phil. The melody is great and played with perfect sensitivity. I have a Collings 12-fret 00-1 (2004) that I'm quite fond of, but I don't think it has opened up quite as sweetly as yours. I can't wait for mine to be 24 years old! I usually use my Goodall 000 on youtube, but you can see and hear my Collings 00 on "Darcy's Guitar"
@obxgrrl Thank you. I'm not very good at writing tab and I never wrote one for this, but you may notice that I'm using a partial capo made by Shubb on the 2nd fret. I'm playing in D position. It is a very fun way to experiment. If you're ear is pretty good, you might be able to figure it out.

That's fine sounding guitar... is it a parlour size? Very rich sound... and your fingering is beautifully precise. A lovely rendition!

I love this song, always brings me back to the civil war series which popularized it. Wonderful guitar rendition.
