It's not so good to try to force yours on others..
Qbert is very very technical, one of the best there is, but he tends to just scratch one thing for three minutes..
Sy makes tunes and patterns that make you (by which i mean me and thousands of others) happy, it's hard to explain, but if Sy and Qbert were playing the same night, in the same venue, I'd be in the Sy room, without a doubt..
@satis1983 in my personal opinion yeah. kentaro is good but an hour would be boring . dj sy incorporates scratching into a set and doesnt make the whole set . i am a old skool raver so nothing can beat it in my opinion. personal preferances . if we all thought the same and liked the same music the world would be a boring place
better than worse than. jeeez. grown the fuck up! Sy knows what compliments the music he is playing and adds his scratching to it. Exactly the same way many other musicians do to their music. Dave Grohl isn't the most technical drummer out there but he certainly knows how to play in a band setting....so many other examples exist.
Subscribe to the "this person is better than that person" mentality in music if you like but its soooo irrelevant it hurts!
