i build harrier jet engines for the marines. kinda cool to see em in a simulator although the hovering above the other harriers would never work in real life

@umpalumpa101909 There are many reasons. For one, the Harrier is only designed to sustain hover for a max of 15-45 seconds. There is a water system that cools the turbines and after that runs out the engine starts burning up. Second while in hover the harrier kicks up a lot of debree that would fly into the other harriers and FOD (forein object damage) the engines. Third, the exhaust would be too hot and cook the pilots in the other jets.

(1) Why do we enjoy flying "Flight Simulator" and play it over and over again?

(2) Why do manay of us want to fly a fighter jet (F-22) instead of a commerical aeroplane (A380)?

(3) Why do we want to have challenge-flying instead of smooth-easy-flying?

(4) If Flight Simulator allow modify your jet and choose your desired engine, will it be fun for players?

(2) FIghter jets are more manueverable have things that blow up and fighter jets add a twist to the boring FSX

(4) Erm.. you can already modify your aircraft, but you cannot choose your own engine
