I listened to engineers whining about Gehry's building here... lots of curves. It's great inside (& out... if you consider the Futuristic look of a building created out of the standing wreckage of a jumbo jet)... but builders continue to shudder. It'd make a wonderful space station. ^..^
As a photographer, looking at the race track sphere really gave the illusion of standing and looking through my camera with a 'fish-eye' lens on it. It is like I am turning about looking at the world in 360 through the extreme wide angle lens. I now have a full understanding how I am to view these.. GREAT WORK!! Or at least some to most of them.
The music is by Gordy Pratt. He has a website plus lots of wonderful music. To answer another question, the spheres are polyethylene. What nice comments. I appreciate them very much.
this is most incredible development in art...ever!...how have i never heard about this?...why is anyone still doing art on paper ??Dick..u r without doubt the greatist artist alive..these worlds..its like your inside them..mindblowing...thankyou so much..its times like this where words become pathetically inadaquate.....
What a joy it is to see all of these different Termespheres. The one I am fortunate enough to own was painted in 1976. It is called "Shelves of Reality". Yes, these spheres are done in six point perspective buy a very talented artist who is featured in the coffee table book "Masters of Deception" along with M.C. Escher, Salvador Dali and 17 other Artists of Optical Illusion. The book is by Al Seckel
Actually no sphere uses less than 6 vanishing points. Often times there are many more depending on the architecture of the building or space he is painting.
WOW! The perspective does WIERD stuff to your brain! Look like you're turning your head inside a scene when it's really just the rotatingt suface of the orb!
Six equal distant points with straight lines running between the three sets of poles

I like how it's sort of an inverted room. It's amazing just to look at these.
