Matt and Ashley A. initially were not picked to move on from Grease Academy with the original 12. However, they were brought back later as a surprise! Matt and Ashley A. were the first to be eliminated from the live shows. Kate was eliminated on a later show. Hope this clears up your confusion.

America couldn't have done better, Max grew from a Slacker to an amazing Danny, which I knew he would. I've been behind him from day 1 just because I always root for the underdog and with the name pasted on him of "slacker" he was that. He has grown and improved so much since day one and I just know he will kick butt on Broadway. Love ya Max, wish I could keep ya :) lol
