In this video I was just keeping rhythm with a multi jump alias bound to the mousewheel. Well, that and consistently snagging a flaw with framestates caused by a typo in the movement code. That part was a little more advanced. But, the community at large should be thrilled to know that it's even easier to do in Counter-Strike: Source. Pfft.

What movement code? I was thinking this could be done much easier if you could somehow sync up your jumps with the server's frames. There is something weird regarding the timing of the bhop in TF2. Using a macro that spams jump 60 times a second doesn't even work.

You're actually on the right track there. However the Oct. 31st patch corrected it so it's no longer possible to bypass the 170% velocity cap.

For those who've been speculating, no this is not strafe jumping, it's bunny hopping. But I can actually achieve the same kind of speed gain by strafe jumping, it's just needlessly hard to steer while doing it.
